Your Wish Is My Command

Drunken Confession [Jinyoung]

Requested By Anon

Let’s get drunk tonight,” Baro suggested excitedly.

“What? No!” Jinyoung replied and continued to stare outside the window.

“Why not?” he shot back.

“I don’t know! I’m just not in the mood.” Jinyoung sighed.

“I have never seen a guy who would act more like a girl than you. Just go and tell her already instead of sitting by the window and staring at the stars,” Baro said trying hard not to laugh.

“Most girls would die for a sensitive guy like me,” Jinyoung snickered back.

“Why are you so scared of her?”

“I wish I knew. She’s just different from all the other girls I’ve been with. I get nervous around her…” Jinyoung trailed off.

“Okay that does it, we’re going to the bar,” Baro got up and clapped his hands.

Jinyoung shook his head making a face.

“I didn’t give you an option. I said we’re going.” He raised his eyebrows.

“When was the last time you had a drink?” Baro asked Jinyoung.

“I don’t remember,” he replied and rested his head on the table. “You shouldn’t have made me drink.”

“You’ll be fine.” Baro patted his back.

“I need some air,” Jinyoung said and left the bar.

He looked at his watch. It was almost midnight. He took his phone out and began to text you but stopped.

‘It’s been over a year Jinyoung, just tell her..’- a voice inside told him.It really had been over a year that he’d liked you. At first he thought it was just a little crush and he was going to get over it but nothing changed. He began falling deeper and deeper until there was no turning back.

Jinyoung began walking towards an unknown direction. His head hurt from all the drinking. He suddenly collapsed besides a bench.

He was extremely broken from inside. Tears began rolling down his cheek. He’d never felt more miserable. The feelings towards you were killing him. He wanted you to know that he loved you and wanted to spend each and every moment of his life with you.

He shook his head and got up to look around. It didn’t take him long to realize that he was in the park next to your apartments.

I guess love really does guide you..’- He thought to himself and a brief smile appeared on his face. It disappeared as soon as it came. He shuffled his pockets to find his phone. Before he could call you, it began ringing. He tried to open his eyes wider so he could see who it was.

“Hello..” he said meekly.

“Jinyoung, you called me?” you asked from the other end.

Jinyoung shook his head. He couldn’t believe he was hearing your voice.

“________, is it you? Is it really you?” he asked.

“Ye, but why did you call?” you repeated your question.

“I didn’t call you!” Jinyoung replied.

“Yeah you did, a half hour ago.”

“Oh Mianhe,” he apologized thinking he might have done it while he was drunk. “______, can you come to the park right now?”

“The park? But it’s freezing outside.”

“I’m already here,” he replied.

You looked outside your window. He really was there.

“Okay I’m coming.” You hung up and grabbed a blanket for Jinyoung.

******************************************

“It’s freezing out here. What are you doing?” You shouted from afar.

“Huh?” Jinyoung shook his head still trying hard to regain his senses.

“Are you drunk too?” you asked coming closer.

“No, no I’m not,” Jinyoung tried to stand straight up. You wrapped the blanket around him.

“I have to tell you something.” He whispered.

“Okay, but no here. Let’s go upstairs or you’ll get sick.”

“No, I want to do it right now,” Jinyoung insisted.

You placed your warm hands on his cold shivering hands and pulled him. “Come on.”

There was something about your touch, that brought him back to reality. He looked at you intently as if hypnotized by your presence. You pulled him and he followed you to the apartment.

“Sit here, I’ll make you some coffee.”

“No I don’t need it,” he held your hand and pulled you back. Jinyoung had never reacted like this. There really was something he wanted to say. You sat down beside him and looked at him with questioning eyes. He looked away as if afraid of saying what he was about to say. He closed his eyes and clenched his fingers. His silence was making you curious.

“_________, I love you!”  he said with a shaky voice.

He’d taken you by surprise. How could he be in love with you when you guys barely talked to each other? He didn’t know anything about you and you didn’t know anything about him. His confession scared you instead of flattering you. You shook your head and began to get up but he held your hand.

“Please,” he looked at you with watery eyes. You settled back down. “I didn’t know when or how this happened but I really do love you.”

“You don’t know anything about me Jinyoung.”

“I do!” he snapped back. “Have you noticed nothing? The way I watch you the way I..”

“Jinyoung..” you tried to cut him but he cut you short.

“Just give me a chance.” His hands were shaking. “I’ve never felt more miserable. This feeling is eating me on the inside. Had I not confessed tonight I don’t know what would have happened to me.”

You felt bad for him. “Oppa, you’re drunk right now. You don’t know what you’re saying.”

“I know what I’m saying. I know my feelings are real,” he said with a stern voice.  He seemed hurt.

“Give me one week?” he said desperately.

“What do you mean?” you asked.

“Stay with me for one week and if you feel like I’m not good enough for you then leave. I promise I will never show you my face again.”

You didn’t know what to say. If you refused he’d be devastated and that wasn’t what you wanted. You watched him look at you eagerly. Did he really love you that much?

You nodded your head in approval and looked away. A smile spread on his face. Now all he had to do was show you how much he loved you.

***********************************************

When you woke up you found Jinyoung sitting on the couch staring into space.

“Do you remember anything from last night?” you asked.

He looked at you and shook his head. You were disappointed. You knew, he was just like any other guy who confessed but doesn’t really mean it. You made a face and turned around.

“But I haven’t forgotten that I love you,” Jinyoung said from behind. A shudder ran through your body. You clenched your fist and closed your eyes. You didn’t know if you were relieved or scared.

************************************************

You hadn’t answered Jinyoung’s text messages after the event because you didn’t want him to know that you were sick. It had been two days and he was worried.

You dragged yourself out of bed to open the door. Somebody had been knocking for quite a while.

“Are you okay? Why haven’t you been answering my calls? I was so worried.” Jinyoung bombarded you with questions.

“I was..” you began to talk but a fit of coughing took you.

“You’re sick,” Jinyoung exclaimed holding you. You struggled to open your eyes as your vision blurred. Your body was too week. Jinyoung picked you up and took you to the room, carefully placing you on the bed.

He left and came back after a while with soup in his hands.

“Here,” he placed the spoon near your lips. You slowly sipped in some.

“Thank you,” you said with a weak voice.

“Shhhhh,” Jinyoung nodded, placing his hand on your forehead. He stroked your hair till you fell asleep.

You spent the next three days in bed. Jinyoung stayed by your side every second to make sure you got whatever you needed.  You wished he wouldn’t do that but a little part of you was getting used to his presence. You liked it when he worried about you and ran around, to get things for you. You had never seen a guy who would do all this for his girl.

“No no, don’t get up!” Jinyoung sprang up and lunged towards you.

“I’m fine,” you said with a bright smile on your face. You really were feeling better.

“What do you need? I’ll get it for you.” He asked with a worried look on his face.

“I don’t need anything,” you shook your head with a reassuring smile. “Wait, actually I do need something.”

“What?” he asked placing his hand on your cheeks.

“Take me out somewhere!”

Jinyoung stared at you with disbelief. “You’re too sick to go out.”

“I’m not sick anymore. I’m tired of being in bed. It’s been 4 days Oppa.” You stood up. “See I’m fine.” You tried to make him believe you.

He sighed. “Where do you want to go?”

“The lake near Seoul City Center.” This is the place you used to go whenever you were lonely but that night you wanted to go with him.

**********************************************

“It’s so peaceful here at night.” Jinyoung sighed.

“Ye,” you replied. You were happy that he was by your side. You didn’t know if you’d started liking him but his presence always satisfied you. You knew nothing could ever happen to you, if he was there with you. He seemed like a protector.

You looked at him and smiled. It hadn’t been seven days but maybe you were falling for him. It wasn’t going to hurt if you gave him a chance. You took him by surprise when you held his hand. Jinyoung looked at you with questioning eyes.

“I don’t want you to go anywhere.” You said and rested your head on his shoulder. He didn’t know why you’d said that but he was happy that you’d accepted him. You belonged to him now. A tear rolled down his cheek but he wiped it quickly, wrapping his arms around you.
