I think to write a good sad scenario, the story should be intense. The feelings of both [or however many people are involved] should be described in detail. Your vocabulary should focus more on “heart break” or “drifting apart”.. or what ever is applicable.
Honestly I think we need this to write any type of scenarios. The thing that makes people like/ cry reading the sad scenarios is based more on the story than the detail but then again if you don’t have enough of that it won’t be as effective. So the story and detail should compliment each other :)
Also when you’re writing a sad scenario, be sure to put in some sort of a ‘happy moment’ to lighten it up. If it’s too intense people find it unrealistic and don’t take it as seriously.
