You entered your apartment, yawning and sighing after a long work day. Who knew two weeks into your first job was going to nearly kill you. All you wanted was your comfy bed and maybe a nice cup of hot coco to make you fall asleep. Dragging yourself to your room, you placed your bag on the bed and sat down to rest for a little bit. Just then the door bell rung. You knew exactly who it was and you didn’t mind him coming at all. Seeing his face would only give you more relaxation.
“Hey,” you said tiredly as you opened the door. Kai’s lit up and bright face changed to a more concerned one.
“You look tired,” he said and embraced you. “This job is killing you isn’t it?”
“Ye,” you mumbled through his shirt.
“Let me make you a cup of coffee.”
“Aniyo,” you pulled back. “Hot coco please. Coffee won’t let me sleep all night.”
Kai chuckled at your cute cheeky smile. He walked you to the room while giving you a nice back rub. “Does that feel good?” he asked.
“Like heaven,” you replied. You lay comfily in bed while Kai went to the kitchen.
“Here,” he offered you the cup. “It’s my first time making it.” You took a sip and it tasted better than the one you made for yourself.
“This is really good,” you said shaking your head in bewilderment. He laughed and held your hand, giving it a tight squeeze. The squeeze always meant he had something to say but he was too scared to say it.
“Is there something you want to tell me?” you asked.
“Ye, ________ I want you to..,” he stopped and looked the other way.
“What’s wrong?” you asked. You placed the cup on the night stand and moved closer to him.
“I really want to spend our first Christmas together but I want to spend it with my family too,” he said. You didn’t know if you should comfort him or yourself. Your family wasn’t in Korea which meant that you had to celebrate all the special holidays by yourself. You were really hoping to be able to spend Christmas with Kai that year but then again it would be cruel of you hold him from meeting his family.
“Oh,” you let out a short sigh.
“But I have an idea, if you agree.”
You lifted your head, showing him that you wanted to hear whatever it was that he had to say.
“How about you come with me. I know both you and I are not ready to tell our parents but I just really don’t want to leave you alone.” You could feel tears of happiness forming in your eyes. All you could do was bless the moment you had found him. No one had ever taken care of you the way he did.
“Of course,” you said nodding your head.
“Are you about to cry?” he asked with a worried expression.
“Aniyooo,” you pushed him but he grabbed your hand and pulled you into a hug.

You knew that either your heart was going to pop out any second or you were going to pee in your pants. It was the first time you were meeting his parents and both of you had decided to not be completely honest with them. You did feel a bit guilty but you knew that it was better for your relationship.
“Stop shaking,” he held your hand while the two of you waited for the door to open. Just then the door opened and he immediately let go of your it.
“Annyeongha….,” his mother’s greeting stopped halfway as her eyes fell on you.
“Annyeonghasayeo,” both you and Kai said and bowed.
“She’s a friend. Her parents are out of country so I brought her along,” Kai gave a brief description.
“Aaaa,” his mother chuckled. “Come on in.”
“It’s sad that you couldn’t come earlier. It’s already Christmas eve. We could have done a lot of stuff.”
“I know, I know but the schedules were so tough,” Kai replied.
“Okay both of you go freshen up. Kai you can sleep in the living room on the mattress and we can give this young lady your room.”
“Whaaatt,” Kai stared in disbelief.
“Is something wrong?” she asked, turning to face him.
“Oh no, not at all.” He replied only making you laugh harder, on the inside.

You had just changed in to your cute Christmas sweater when Kai’s mother walked in. “Come to the living room. Kai’s cousins are here.” She said the words with such a warm smile that your nervousness began draining away.
You walked into the living room to half a dozen teenagers. Kai waved at you to join them near the small fire place. You did as he said. Everybody had beautiful smiles on their faces. Their gazes fell on you and Kai very often. It seemed as if they wanted to know something.
“Are you going to tell us stories?” Kai asked his mother. She nodded and sat on the chair by the fireplace. Another lady walked out of the kitchen with cups of hot chocolate. Just the perfect thing to set the mood for a freezing Christmas eve. You looked around the room as tears of joy filled your eyes. Last time you had spent Christmas with your family like that was three years ago. You missed them but Kai’s mother made you feel just like family. You didn’t feel awkward for one bit. Kai nudged you out of your thoughts because you had been staring blankly into space.
“Are you okay?” his mother asked.
“Ye,” you nodded and pulled the red beanie over your ears to cover up the embarrassment.

“How do you feel?” Kai whispered, grabbing you from behind.
“Aigoo! What are you doing? Someone will see us.”
“No one will. They are busy in the kitchen preparing for tomorrow,” he replied planting a kiss on your neck.
You turned around to face him. You blinked repeatedly but his eyes really were twinkling. “Thank you,” you said and leaned into kiss him but before you could do that both you and him jumped. You heard his mother cough, standing at the door. She looked at you and then him with a stern expression. You wanted to hold his hand for strength but you knew how inappropriate it would be.
She slowly walked up to the two you. You were dreading each step that she was taking. “I’m so sorry,” you said shaking your head. You buried your face in your hands.
“For what?” she asked. You didn’t quite understand why she said that so you looked up. She was smiling.
“I knew from the moment I opened the door that you two were dating. It was written all over your faces.” She came forward and cupped your face with her hands. “I’ve never seen him this happy and I am sure it’s all because of you.” You looked at her and then back at Kai. He was completely expressionless. You nudged him to come back to reality.
“Umma.. I was going to tell..”
“It’s okay. Just don’t pretend to not be in a relationship okay,” she said and turned around to leave.
“But what about all my cousins,” Kai asked.
“Do you really think they don’t know?” she said shaking her head. Both you and Kai smiled as she walked out the room.
“Well that went smoothly,” Kai said pulling you closer to him once again.
“You think so?” you asked smiling shyly. He nodded back.
“Now where were we?” he said and leaned in to kiss you.
There in that moment he has made Christmas eve perfect for you.

Okay so instead of Christmas, I changed it to Christmas eve. I have two more Christmas scenarios to write so I apologize if they are short :(. I hope you liked this . :)
I know this one wasn’t the next on my list but since it’s Christmas time I will be writing all the Christmas related requests first. It wouldn’t make sense otherwise. :|
