Your Wish Is My Command

A beautiful Night- Luhan

You casually back out of the movie theater parking lot… “thuddd” you hear a loud sound. “That didn’t sound very pleasant,” you say to yourself opening the door to your car.

“Oh no no nooooo,” you hear a guy cry.

“Did…I…hit your car?” you ask without looking in his direction.

“Yes,” he replied angrily.

“I’m so sorry,” you said walking towards him. “I am so sorry… I don’t know why I didn’t look in the mirror… I am soooo stupid..”

There was no reply. You looked towards him. He didn’t seem angry anymore. In fact there was sort of a shy smile on his face.

“Let me call the police so he could write a report.” You said dialing 9-1-1.

“Oh no… it’s okay. It doesn’t look that bad.”

“No…nooo there’s a huge dent. Okay.. let me call my insurance company.”

“No, seriously it’s fine. I can get it fixed myself.”

“That’ll cost you a fortune.”

“It’ll cost my dad a fortune,” he said with a calm smile and raised eyebrows.

“Oh…” you nodded your head returning the smile. “Ummm I’ll let you go..” You began to walk back towards your car.

“Umm excuse me…” he said.

“Yes?”

“Maybe..you could give me your number so I could contact you…in case dad refuses to pay?” h asked hesitantly. He played nervously with his fingers.

“Uhh.. yeah sure.. why not,” you replied. You handed a small piece of paper with your number on it.

******************************************

That night…

Your phone beeps- It’s a message from an unknown number.

“Hey.. its me! The person you met from earlier today…”

“I met lots of people today…” you replied knowing it was the guy you had hit the car of.

“I meant.. the guy outside the movie theater.”

“Oh..”

“Yeah…”

“So whatsup?”

“Yeah… dad said he won’t pay for it.. :(“

“What?? Really?? OMG I am so sorry.. okay I’ll call my insurance company right away”

Just as you were about to dial their number you received another text message from him.

“No … I was kidding don’t do that.”

“You scared me.. why would you that…”

“I’m sorry :(“

“Haha..  it’s alright.”

“So..I was wondering if you were free Saturday night?”

“Well that was very straightforward…”

A minute passed and there was no reply. Five minutes… then ten. You felt bad for saying what you did.

“You still there?” you sent another message.

“Oh you’re not upset?” he asked.

“No I thought I had upset you.. I was just joking.”

“Really? I thought I had come off as a creep. I shouldn’t have been so hasty.”

“Oh no I think I was being blunt. I would like to meet up this Saturday.”

“Who said I want to meet up?”

“What??”

“Haha I am kidding. Café Zuke at 7:30”

“Sure..~~”

************************************************

You arrived fifteen minutes before time unlike being fashionably late. To your surprise the guy was already there too. He waved at you from inside the café. Before you could reach for the door, you saw him lunge towards it and open it for you.

“Thank you,” you said slightly bowing. Both of you settled at a table in the corner away from everyone.

“It’s a nice quiet place. I didn’t even know it existed,” you said nervously.

“Are you nervous?” he asked.

“Nervous?” your voice broke as you repeated. “No..not at all.”

“My name is Luhan by the way…” he said while chuckling.

“My name is _________,” you replied with a shy smile. For some reason you felt over whelmed.

“So were you at the movies by yourself the other day?” he asked.

You nodded in agreement. “Yeah… I like watching them by myself. It’s more fun that way.”

“Don’t you get lonely?” he asked.

“Nope.. I haven’t really felt like that till now.” you said.

“That’s strange. I always have to have someone around me.”

“I guess we are the polar opposites..” you murmured.

“Not quiet..” he replied.

You looked at him for an explanation. “Look at the color of your dress… it matches my shirt.”

“That’s one thing,” you smiled a little. You could tell that he was really trying to make you feel at ease.

As the light blue sky turned a bright red and then finally a darker shade of blue, the two of you continued to talk. What started as an awkward conversation turned into something much more meaningful. He offered to walk you to the nearest MTR which you very graciously accepted.

“You know you are not as shallow as people may perceive you to be!” you said.

“Shallow? What do you mean? Why would anyone think that?” He asked a question after the other.

You thought for a while to come up with the right words. “What I meant to say is that you’re not like all those other pretty boys.” You said quickly hoping he didn’t catch what you had said.

“Did you just call me good looking?” he asked.

“Is that the only thing you got out of it?” you laughed.

“You didn’t answer my question” he said.

“Aish…ummm maybe,” you said increasing your pace. “My train is about to leave.”

“This calls for another date…” he said.

“A date? Today was a date?” you asked.

“Yeah…” he smiled with his eyes. You saw him blush but you couldn’t call him out for that since you yourself were blushing.

“I’ll see you later,” you said and quickly jumped onto the train.

It was a beautiful ending to a beautiful night.

Cafe Rendezvous [Luhan]

Requested by anon

The goose bumps on your arms were coaxing you into closing the window at the far end of your office floor. You looked up at it with dagger eyes wishing it could react to your threat. No luck. You were just as stubborn. You wrapped your jacket around you tightly and began to scroll through your inbox once again. It was almost 8 o clock. Everyone had left the office building but you. You sat in the dark empty room, hoping for a miracle to happen on that Friday night. If you went home empty handed you would most likely not get promoted.

“Come on … come on.. come on!!” you said refreshing the page for the 10th time. Nothing. No new person had submitted a story. You had read and rejected five stories earlier that day. You were hoping someone would submit a good one by the end of the day. The deadline for the first rough draft was the following Tuesday which gave you one more working day to sort things out. Without a story, you would fail at the big end of the month project and never get promoted in your 2 year old job.

You sat in silence staring at you screen in utter disappointment. It was as if the whole universe was conspiring against you. A healthy smile took you at your own thought. You were a bit of a dramatic person.

Suddenly, your ears perked at the *bling* on your computer. The bold words appearing before you could never be more satisfying. It was an email, an email you had been longing to receive. You clicked on it immediately. There wasn’t much content except a single line stating that a story was attached. It seemed as if the sender was in a hurry.

Nevertheless, you downloaded the file and began reading. The very first line had captured all your attention. But slowly the content went downhill. You were starting to lose focus. It seemed as if the writer was very detached from his work. There were occasions that you felt he/she had put their heart and soul into it and at other times the whole story was just falling apart.

You could also tell that English was their second language since the mistakes were beyond imaginable. That, you could fix but only if the story was a little better written. The plot was the same as any other story about relationships falling apart.

“Great! …another heartbreaker!” you frowned at the draft. It was around 9 o clock. It hadn’t taking you much long to skim through the story. You opened a new window and like you had done 5 times already, began writing an email telling the sender that the story was going to be rejected.

With a heavy heart you clicked ‘send’. Your day was finally over. You began packing your content when you heard another *bling*. It was from the same person. You scrunched your nose as you clicked on it.

Hello,

I am sorry my last email was so rushed. I was at a public computer and my time was almost over. I do not quite understand why my work has been rejected. I have put a lot of thought into it. From your feedback you gave me I have a feeling I still have a chance.

Would you like to meet in person so we can discuss this further? This is very important to me and I do not want to fail at this big opportunity. If you think my request is a bit out of line, I apologize in advance.

Sincerely

Luhan”

You felt your heart sink a little as you read the name. “Luhan… hmmm” you whispered. The name rang a bell but you could not remember for sure. You read and re read the email a few times. There was nothing planned for the weekend anyways. You wrote a  brief reply:

“Hey

Tomorrow: 9 o clock

Place: City Café

___________”

“Thank you so much. I will see you there.

Luhan”

“Great,” you muttered to yourself as you walked out of the dark room. Now you had to reject him in person.

***********************************************

You looked more than fresh, sitting in a corner table at the café. You didn’t mind the least being the first one to arrive. You had gotten there a half hour early. There were a few other people at the shop. None of them caught your attention but a guy sitting at the other end of the café, newspaper covering his face. He had seemed to get there a few minutes before you since you saw him order when you entered.

Time flew by quickly. It was five minutes past nine. You frowned a little at his tardiness. That was one thing you hated about writers. Another five minutes passed. You swung your head towards the door again. In the moment, your eyes met the guy sitting at the other end. He had also been curiously looking towards the door. Both you and he smiled at each other foolishly knowing that you had been waiting for each other this whole time. He grabbed his bad nervously, almost spilling his coffee and dropping the newspaper. He walked towards you with a hearty but shaken smile.

“Hello,” he muttered quickly looking away, pretending to set his content on the table.

“Hi,” you replied offering your hand.

Both you and he settled down opposite each other. You gave him a comforting smile so he wouldn’t be completely lost due to his jumpy condition.  You heard him take a few deep breaths to relax himself. In only a few moments he seemed to be getting normal.

“I’m sorry about this,” he said pointing to himself. You narrowed your eyebrows as if questioning his statement.

“For being so flustered..” he added. “I didn’t get enough sleep last night.”

“May I ask why was that so? …ah.. you don’t have to answer if you’re not comfortable,” you said. He looked up at you. He was very relaxed and smiling more casually now.

“Oh … I had personal business to take care of. Nothing too special.” He looked away once again so you won’t be able to tell he was lying. He had spent the entire last night editing and re editing the story and practicing how he would convince you. If he didn’t get this break, his career would be over. His rich father will call him back home and force him to attend Business School.

“I’m not too sure why you called me here today?” you asked.

“I want you to re read the story one more time. Let me know what’s wrong. I’ll try my best to fix it…”

“Luhan…,” you said his name hesitantly. “That’s not the problem though. Even if you fix all these little mistakes…your story is still not extra ordinary. It’s not any different from the many others we have published already. We need something different. Something people have never read before. Something that makes them anticipate our next issue.”

His lips parted to defend his position but he soon realized that it would be better he remained quiet. He had to choose his words wisely for you to be convinced. He sat, his head bent down, eyes closed and hands clapped together. You examined his soft features. They were so baby like. Innocence printed all over his face.  You were starting to doubt if he was older than you. Knowing that people around you, may be looking you diverted your attention towards the beautiful white Gardenia in the red vase. You were surprised to see them at a small café like that one. There was smell was very pleasing to the nose. You could not help but admire their delicate structure. Taking one out of the vase, you brought it close to your nose. For a second, you felt like you were back at the coffee shop two years ago, waiting for your date. He had walked in with grace, holding those beautiful gardenias in his hands. He had apologized repeatedly for being late. His smile, his eyes, his face everything was a mark of perfection. He was your muse. Every word he uttered sounded like a sweet melody to you.

You shook your head back to reality also sighing deeply. Broken relationships were better forgotten. As you looked up, you saw a dazed writer staring back at you. He had been admiring you, admiring the flowers. But in that moment, he had realized how hurt and broken you were on the inside.

“Are you okay?” you asked.

“Huh.. ah yeah,” he said shaking his head in embarrassment.

“ Look Luhan,” you began once again. Your past thoughts had suddenly changed your mind. You wanted to give him a chance. “You just need to find some inspiration and I’m sure you’ll be able to produce something worthy of publishing.”

You realized that you had placed your hand over his. You immediately pulled back.

“Inspiration is all you need to …”

“I think I just found it,” Luhan said cutting you. You looked at him with a half dazed state.

“Okay then,” you said getting up. “Send me something by Sunday night and I’ll see what I can do.”

“Excuse me,” he called you. “Your bag.”

You took it from him, turning back immediately so he wouldn’t see your light pink blushing face.

******************************************************

Sunday Night, 8 o clock:

You heard the *bling* as soon as you sat down on your working table at home. He was right on time! You clicked open the attached file.

Cafe Rendezvous

There was something very beautiful about the way her tear laden eyes admired the Gardenias. The way that faint but breathtaking smile embraced her soft lips, the way her fingers danced nervously and they way her nostrils flared only slightly …all of it was indescribable….’

You felt a shudder run through your body. His words were beautiful…you felt beautiful. You wiped the tears out of your eyes. You had a story to read…

Tender Heart [Luhan]

Requested by anon

.

.

You looked at the clock in frustration. It was half past six and Luhan had promised to come home early that day. The two of you were going to the doctor for your routine checkup. He hadn’t come to the last three for which he apologized many times. You had no idea he was going to do the same this time.

He finally entered the house around seven. You couldn’t read his expressions because your brain was occupied with the fury. “One time! One time I tell you do something and this is what you do!” you yelled. Luhan jumped a little at your sudden attack. He looked at his watch and then at you trying to remember if he was missing something.

“Is..everything alright?” he asked. You could hear slight annoyance in his voice. It made you more mad because he had no right to be upset when you had spent an hour waiting for him.

“You’re kidding me right?” you asked getting up with great effort. You were seven months pregnant therefore little things like these made you really frustrated. “You were supposed to take me to the doctor today.”

Luhan smacked his forehead, embarrassed at what he had done. He advanced towards you, apology painted on his face. “I am so sorry,” he said trying to hold you.

“Sorry isn’t enough,” you pushed him back. “This isn’t the first time Luhan.”

“What do you mean?” he asked getting defensive.

“Can’t you see? You are never home. Every time I need something I have to ask you five times before you actually go get it. You don’t remember important dates even when I mark them on the calendar. You are never there when I go to the doctor and … to be honest we haven’t even started planning for what our life will be like when this baby comes into this world.”

“You’re making it sound like I don’t care at all,” Luhan countered your argument.

YES! That is what I am trying to say,” you emphasized.

“What are you talking about? I have never shown that I don’t care about our baby.”

You scoffed at him. “Do you remember the day I told you I was pregnant? You nearly collapsed. Most people are happy but you… you seemed so …devastated.”

“___________ I think we already talked about it. My reaction was not mature but I apologized for that. I am really happy that you are having this baby,” he said.

“I am having this baby? What happened to we are having this baby? … this is what your problem is. You are not looking forward to us becoming a family.”

“I am! Don’t accuse me of such stuff.”

“I will accuse you!!” you yelled losing your patience. You just wished he would listen instead of countering everything you were saying. He had shown little to no responsibility towards the baby and yet he claimed to that he was there with you.

“Have you ever bothered asking how my day was when you come home? Have you ever asked how I may be feeling? If I need something? What the doctor said? You don’t care at all. It makes me wish I wasn’t having this baby… because then you would be the old Luhan, who cared about all my needs.”

“Do you hear yourself? You’re being so selfish,” Luhan snickered.

“I am NOT being selfish. You just don’t care and you’re being irrational.”

“All of this started from me not coming home on time. Okay let me just go make another appointment.”

“That’s not what this is about and you know that too,” you pulled him back. It was as if you were looking for a fight that day. But in reality you wanted answers to all your questions. They were creeping up on you. You were afraid Luhan wasn’t ready. He didn’t want the baby and he might leave you.

“Stop it,” Luhan pushed your hand back. “I don’t need you to tell me what to do.” His tone was harsh and his voice louder than usual. “Why do you have to blow everything out of proportion? What the heck is your problem? I am trying to fix things over here and it seems as if you don’t want that. I am getting tired of your whining everyday ____________. Either you stop this or you ….” He stopped realizing he had said too much. Tears started coming out of your eyes. Luhan tried to hold you but you pushed him back.

“_________,” he called your name. “I didn’t mean to…”

“Don’t,” you refused his hand once again. The front door was still open. Without thinking twice you left, smashing the door behind you.

*************************************************

Luhan stood in the empty room still trying to make sense of what had happened in only a few minutes. Did you really leave? Were you going to come back? He had no idea how something so small could create a chaos as big as this. He felt like he had lost a part of himself. You guys were so happy just a few months ago then suddenly what happened? He asked himself all these questions. He was confused but he knew one thing for sure and that was that he didn’t want to lose you.

Luhan ran out of the house looking for you.

**************************************************

“_________! __________ stop!!” you heard Luhan from behind. He caught up to you. You could tell that his eyes had shed a few tears. He seemed worried, scared and flustered.

“What do you think you’re doing?” he asked hugging you tightly. “Just because I am stupid doesn’t mean you leave me like this.” You didn’t say anything but instead hugged him tightly. You started to cry again. “I am sorry for never being there. I do want this baby _________, I’m just a little scared. Please don’t.. leave.” He pulled away and cupped your face in his hands. “Why would you think I don’t care about you enough? I do care about you… it’s just really hard to show sometimes. I promise I’ll put in more effort taking care of you and our child.” He placed his hand on your stomach trying to comfort you. “If there’s one thing I am sure of, it’s that I never want to lose you or our baby.”

Luhan wiped your tears and gave you a kiss. You smiled faintly as he put his arms around you once again. In your heart you hoped he would change for the better this time. You knew he had a tender heart and you also knew he would never give up on you. He just needed a little push.

Luhan is such a cutie. I can’t imagine him being mean to his pregnant wife. But still I wrote this since it was requested. I hope you guys like it :) Happy reading.

The battle within [Luhan]

Requested by anon

You smile blandly thinking about how easily she had let the friendship between the two of you slip. No official statements or direct cutting remarks, just silences along with avoidance in eye contact were enough to say that she had chosen her over you. You told yourself it was your fault. You were the one who must have messed things up like all the other times. Why else would everyone hate you? Why else would every relationship you treasured just fall apart?

“No matter how hard life is, always look at the bright side of things, my love,” your mother used to say.

“I do mom,” you whispered to the silent, empty room as you lay in your bed. You truly missed her that day. A tear trickled down your face and fell on the pillow. ‘Oh I’m crying…’ you thought to yourself, forcing a smile on your face. “It’s not that hard _______. Things like these always happen.”  You tried to make yourself feel better but only your heart knew what it felt. It ached because you were lonely. It ached because you were hurt…

***************************************************

You knocked on the screen of your phone in annoyance. It was the third time since that morning it froze on you. The snow had come unannounced in the middle of April. It had started to pile up everywhere, making it hard for you to walk. You were already ten minutes late and your phone wouldn’t corporate with your situation either. You shoved it back into your coat pocket and increased your pace this time.

Your adjusted your rapid breathing upon reaching the door of SMENT. You had only opened it half way when you were pulled back viciously.

“Can’t you see me standing right behind you?” Luhan said angrily. Your head spun and you felt dizzy due to the sudden shaking of your body.

“I’m sorry,” was all you could say still trying to adjust yourself.

“Well next time, make sure you let me enter first,” he snarled.

“Yes Sir,” you nodded rapidly.

“____________!” you heard an angry voice from across the lobby. “Where have you been all morning?”

“Aaa.. I was trying to call..” you said taking out your phone and knocking on the screen once again.

“If you are not going to take this job seriously, I’m going to look for someone much better than. Do you get that?” the manager roared, pulling you with him. You had barely gained your senses and now this. You turned around to look at Luhan. He was looking at you. You wished he wasn’t. Because the condescending smile fixed on his face was doing nothing more than hurting you.

The manager handed you the plan for the next three weeks but what worried you was the party you had to organize for that night. 6 hours notice was not enough to get everything into place. You hurried out the building as soon as he released you. The clock was ticking faster than usual that day.

*******************************************************

“You got the cheapest flowers? Are you okay?” the manager yelled, taking you into a corner.

“There wasn’t enough money left,” you said timidly. He was ready to yell once again but something else caught his attention. You felt your blood flowing once again, when he let go off of your arm. You were about to move when the door behind you opened, pushing you forward. “Why were you standing right outside the men’s bathroom?” Luhan asked with annoyance. You looked up at his shiny silver hair and perfect features.

“Aaa.. the..” you blurted incoherent words.

“Look at yourself. Is this what someone wears to a party?” he questioned with harsh words. He began to walk away but something stopped him. As if what he had said wasn’t enough. He came near you stopping only inches away. He smiled looking at down at you. “I don’t like the way you look at me,” he whispered. The smile had disappeared. You could see hatred and disgust in his eyes. It didn’t surprise you at all. You had seen it before-many times. ‘Why?’ – you would always ask yourself  but no answer would come. Luhan’s eyes fell on your wrist. He twitched wanting to take a second look but you pulled your sleeve down. You were scared of making a move. If you tried to walk away he would be mad. If you stayed he would come up with something else to insult you with. The world would never be happy with you. Luhan eased your problem by walking away himself.

As much as you didn’t want to, you were required to hang around until the party ended. You took a look at your shabby clothes and then compared yourself to all the other pretty girls at the party. They looked beautiful. They all had boyfriends and they all had friends. You were lonely and broken and had no one to talk to. You glanced at Luhan from time to time. His fingers danced on a pretty girls shoulder as they moved to the sounds of the beat. It bothered you to see them together but you scolded your heart for even going down that lane. Having secret feelings for someone had cost you a lot in the past. Your heart didn’t understand though. It had begun to like Luhan since the day you saw him. You however kept telling yourself the lie that it was far from true.

*************************************************

That night you lay in bed, once again thinking about all the wrong things that life had done to you. Then you smiled, like always- telling yourself it wasn’t that bad. Things could be a lot worse. So what if you had no friends left and so what if your workplace wasn’t the best place to be it. You had to survive as long as you could. Life is such a beautiful gift, how could you just throw it away like that?

What you didn’t know was that, your heart had plans of its own- plans that would come unannounced…

******************************************************

You arrived at work extra early the next day, just to be on the safe side. Some of the Exo members were already there. You had never talked to any of them before. You didn’t ever make an effort to either, because you assumed they would treat you exactly the way Luhan treated you.

You placed all your files on the bench outside their practice room and sat down. You sleep deprived eyes began to shut as you rested your head against the wall.

You woke up to the sound of doors opening and closing. You panicked looking at your watch. Thirty minutes had passed in just a few seconds. Hurriedly, you grabbed everything and ran to the manager’s room.

Luhan walked out of the practice room. Something caught his eye. He stopped, turned around and looked at the small brown diary on the bench.

“What is this doing over here?” he talked to himself also staring the object in surprise. He picked it up and went back into the practice room. He wouldn’t allow anyone in the world to read his personal journal. Then it hit him. He had seen you sitting on the bench a while ago. Luhan ran in the direction of you room. He banged the door open looking at you furiously. You trembled at the sight before you.

“If you ever.. ever.. ever..” he advanced towards you like a lion coming out of his den. “touch my things again you have no idea what I’ll do to you.”

“What do you mean?” you asked in a shaky voice.

“Don’t play innocent on me you little rat..”

“LUHAN!” you yelled. You could never imagine him saying such a word. He was a lot of things but he was never go to such extent.

“Don’t yell at me!” he said. His lips quivered with anger. Both you and he heard someone’s footsteps coming towards your room. It was the manager.

“I don’t want her here in this building anymore,” Luhan said to manager sternly.

“What do you mean?” the manager asked seeing the two of you together.

“I just don’t want her here,” Luhan said, this time a little louder. You looked at the two men in horror, trying your best to stop the tears from gushing out of your eyes.

“________ I’ll figure this out later. Will you please leave right now?” the manager said patiently, making way for you to go. You looked at him and then at Luhan. His anger hadn’t subsided. He was still mad- very mad. The worst part about the whole situation was that you didn’t even know what your crime was.

Your eyes burnt as you blinked, giving your tears the best chance to fall out of your eyes. You wiped it quickly, and picked up all your belongings. It was time that you left- forever…

****************************************************

Luhan lay in his bed holding the journal. A lot had happened that day that needed to be added to his list of achievements. He stared at the unfamiliar hand writing on the first page. His heart sank and his pupils widened, as he flipped through the pages. It wasn’t his journal. He flipped back to the first page to see who it belonged to. His scrunched his nose as he saw your name scribbled on the first page.

“What have I done?” he whispered to himself. A long time passed and he still couldn’t register all that he had done. He picked up the journal once again and began flipping through the pages but this time much slowly, staring at the pages blankly. Then suddenly something caught his eyes. Words. Words that looked familiar.

‘He said that I looked at him weird. Now how can I compete with that when I don’t even know what it means? It’s not his fault for thinking me weird. I am different…’

He flipped to much earlier entries to make sense of what you may be talking about.

Aug 9th-

‘She doesn’t know I saved her from getting caught that night. I took the blame because I know she wouldn’t do such a thing. She is too innocent. How could she? And besides it’s just a onetime thing. I’ll get in next year. She deserved it more anyways.’

Sept 12th-

‘I see our friendship dying with everything but I feel like I am the only one who cares. She doesn’t and I know that but even in this I may be at fault. How can she ever be wrong? I am always the one to screw things up. She says she has found better friends and I am happy for her but it bothers me sometimes because I get lonely too. Don’t I deserve a nice friend too?’

Sept 13th

‘Mom, I miss you today. Why are you so far away? Why did you have to leave so early?’

Sept 25th-

‘Am I really this worthless that everybody pushes me around? I keep trying to look at the bright side of things but it’s all just a lie. I see happy couples around me all the time. It reminds me of him. I wish I had told him how I felt… He would have been nicer to me .. at least nicer than L****.

*************************************************************

You stared at the blood dripping from the light cut you had given yourself. A tear fell from your eyes, adding itself to the trail of red liquid trickling down your wrist.

“It has come to this,” you mumbled to yourself.

‘You don’t have to do this…’ –the voice from inside told you.

“It’s not like anyone would care.”

‘They care! You just don’t know it yet…’

“It doesn’t matter anymore,” you replied, proceeding with a second violent touch of the knife with your skin. You were going to finish the job tonight, hoping to not see the next day light.

********************************************************

Luhan skipped back to the most recent journal entry. It was longer than your usual ones. His heart was racing a little even when he was trying his best to calm himself.

Oct 1st-

‘For the first time today I let myself cry. I can’t take it anymore. It hurts too much. It hurts me to see him with other girls. He dances with them, he touches them in ways I can’t express. I don’t like him..or at least that’s what I tell my heart. But all these bottled up feelings have finally started to come out. He said that I looked at him weird. Now how can I compete with that when I don’t even know what it means? It’s not his fault for thinking me weird. I am stupid… I’m starting to become cynical. Things like these didn’t bother me. I used to smile. I used to laugh. Than what happened? Why am I always like this now? Why does it feel better when I… I’ve lost everybody I loved. My mother, my one and only friend..and now my heart is secretly falling for a man he seems me as nothing more but trash. Tell me.. am I so worthless? She never calls me back when I call her now. I want to tell someone how I feel but there’s no one. I don’t like the sun.. I don’t like the birds chirping, the flowers.. It breaks my heart to see them so happy when I smile to cover up my dry tears. I’ve pretended too long. I’m tired now.. Why can’t all of this be over already? Life is a gift but I don’t want it anymore…

“Oh no oh no! what have I done? How could I be so stupid?” Luhan panicked. His eyes fell on the calendar. It was Oct 2nd. Your last entry was from the night before…

Someone shook you with trembling hands. He then pressed his ears against your chest. “You’re going to be alright okay?” he kept humming as he picked you up and that’s when you completely lost consciousness.

 ********************************************************

“You’re going to be alright okay? You’re going to be alright okay?” your ears buzzed with the same phrase over and over and over. You closed your eyes as soon as you opened them. The light was too bright. It hurt your eyes.

You felt someone’s hand brush against yours. It was soft. His voice was even softer. “Open your eyes,” he was saying. You struggled for a long time but finally gathered enough courage to try once more. This time, the light was blocked by a familiar face over your head.

“Lu..han,” you whispered.

“Shhhh,” he said sitting beside you. He took your hand and ran his fingers on your bandaged wrist. You felt a tear drop on your hand. You knew it belonged to him but you didn’t dare look at him. What happened? How he came to save you? How did he know you were about to kill yourself? All these questions were revolving around in your head but you couldn’t ask him. You were mad at him for saving you but your heart was grateful. You hadn’t forgiven him but your heart had.

Luhan looked at you with loving eyes, wanting to ask you so many questions. Wanting to tell you that you wouldn’t have to be sad anymore. He was going to remain by your side, not out of pity but because he cared about you maybe even falling in love with you. But he knew his words would not fix anything. He had to show it and that’s all he was going to do from them on…

_______________________________________________________

Lots of mixed emotions running around in this scenario. I feel like those who have been in similar situations would be able to understand it more. People who are sad on the inside always cover up with a smile and keep denying that they are unhappy. They blame themselves for all the problems and sometimes even get annoyed at themselves for being so needy. [If you are one of those people please go out there and talk to anyone. Be it a stranger or not. If you suppress your feelings or keep them bottled up inside you, bad things can happen.]

The scenario is a little chunky and different from my usual scenarios because I’ve put lots of personal emotions into it. I apologize if I let you down with this or if this isn’t what you wanted anon but I also really hope that you like it. :)

[Title undecided] - Luhan

Here’s an excerpt from request no, 7 for everyone who is anticipating it. I’ve decided to first finish the requests before that and then write it but since you guys are so anxious here you go: [Feel free to send in any title suggestions]

You stared at the blood dripping from the light cut you had given yourself. A tear fell from your eyes, adding itself to the trail of red liquid trickling down your wrist.

“It has come to this,” you mumbled to yourself.

You don’t have to do this…’ –the voice from inside told you.

“It’s not like anyone would care.”

They care! You just don’t know it yet…’

It doesn’t matter anymore,” you replied, proceeding with a second violent touch of the knife with your skin. You were going to finish the job tonight, hoping to not see the next day light.

They were afraid of loving… [Luhan]

Requested by anon Naiya

‘She was afraid of loving and more strangely, she was afraid of being loved in return. “What’s the point?” she would say. “It’s not like it will be eternal. One day they will leave. They will find out that I am not perfect… I am far from that…” Over the years she had completely secluded herself from the society. Her heart was safely caged inside a box cushioned by smooth linen stuffing. No one was allowed to touch it. No one needed to either. Nothing mattered because she knew she didn’t deserve anything. Why was she like this? Had she always been like this? Why did it always hurt her when someone asked her if she was okay?‘

.

.

You walked down the busy street, your head slightly bowed, your eyes fixed on the ground. Whispers, cries, gossips occasionally touched your ear but you let them subside. In only a matter of few seconds you would be far from all of this. Your feet began to move faster as the corner approached. You huddled through the crowd, pushing a few, in frustration. ‘Why do they leave their houses?’ you asked yourself, shaking your head  in annoyance.

There it was, right in front of you. Your safe haven, where you felt protected from the world. Only a few years back you had found that place, hidden behind the heavily laden trees. The park was less busy than usual. You swiftly tip toed to your spot, making sure to not catch anyone’s eyes. You bent down, trying to catch your breath when your vision caught something very wrong. Something or rather someone who wasn’t supposed to be there. You looked up- your eyes meeting his and for a second you felt captivated by the sadness they held. It was almost as if you could see your reflection in his personality without knowing one bit about him. Neither of you moved but stared, hoping the other would say something. No words were uttered. Your lips refused to part. Instead of getting mad at him for taking your spot, you let him stay. Why? You didn’t know. You turned around to leave when you heard him murmur. Your body was in an awkward position and so was your mind. You didn’t know if you should ask him what he had said or just quietly leave. You were still debating when you heard him again. This time he said it much louder. “You don’t have to leave.”

Very slowly you turned your head sideways hoping he would say something more. He didn’t. From the corner of your eyes you could tell that he had gone back to reading his book. He either didn’t care enough or he was too aloof to realize that he had unintentionally hurt you.  You were just as stubborn and possessive about your things. Without giving the idea a second thought, you trailed to your spot that had been very lamely taken by him. There was no sign of the slightest flinch from him. Both of you of sat stiffly under the shade reading your respective books.

************************************************************

Two weeks had passed and nothing had changed. It had almost become a ritual. Every day, he would be there five minutes before your arrival time. You didn’t say anything, neither did he bother. Both of you sat quietly. He was perfectly calm and so were you. It became almost movie like. Two strangers meeting like this. Never uttering words directed to each other. Just understanding what the other never said and then never bothering to ask. There was no need. You liked it just the way it was. You had started to get attached. It felt great to see him there every day. Two months? Three and then four passed by. But nothing changed. You were still quiet and so was he.

Then one day everything changed. Like usual, you casually walked to the place your locks dancing along, hitting your face occasionally. Everything was going to be perfect, except that he wasn’t there that day. You scanned the tree up and down and all around foolishly but there was no sign of him. Blinking repeatedly you stood in silence, with your cheeks puffed up. Your heart poked fun of you. You had started doing what you hated the most- caring for others when you knew the result was always going to be bad. They would never provide you the satisfaction you needed. You wanted to show yourself that you were stronger so you sat down, breathed heavily and began reading the book. The words that your eyes were eating were far from being absorbed by your brain. Your frustration level reached its height in a mere few seconds. You slammed your book sipping in the last drop of patience and got up. You couldn’t do it. He had to be there to make it right. He wasn’t- therefore everything was wrong.

A few more days passed and there was no sign of him. You felt betrayed and broken from the inside. You tried to tell yourself that it was no big deal. You didn’t know him or anything but what about your silly heart that kept poking you? You felt miserable. You didn’t want to go back to the place anymore but that little light of hope was still there. ‘He could come…one day…’ you would keep telling yourself.

*********************************************

Two weeks later:

You sat under the shade as light air brushed your hair and kissed your bare arm. You were reading your book but you were more focused on the sounds around you. Your ears tingled at the sound of someone’s footstep. Your head shot up towards the direction of the sound you’d been craving to here. And there he was- walking towards you like nothing had happened. Like he had all the right in the world to leave when he liked and come back when he wanted. Your eyes raged with anger looking at his calm, innocent face and pure twinkling eyes. As he got closer you realized that that tinkle was because of his teary eyes. He’d been crying or rather weeping…

You looked at him with questioning eyes as you clenched your shaking hands into a fist. He sat down beside you, took out his book and began to read. You couldn’t help but look at him from the corner of your eyes. All your anger had subsided.

“What is it?” you suddenly blurted out. He didn’t look up. It was the first time he’d heard your voice. His ears turned a light pink and he tried hard to act like he was involved in his book. But he couldn’t pretend any longer. You were still looking at him with your big dough eyes demanding an answer.

“That’s none of your business,” he replied.

“I want to help,” you replied. You couldn’t stand seeing him cry like that. You knew better. You had been through days like that. “Please! I know you’re hurting right now. But I can help. Trust me!”

“No one can help me,” he replied putting his book aside. You began to say something but he continued, unexpectedly. “No one will understand what I have been through. It’s just too… much.” He turned his body to face you, looking straight into your eyes. He leaned closer to you and whispered, “It haunts me every night.”

His last statement ran shudders through your body. You wanted to know what his secret was but you couldn’t form the right words to ask. You held his hand and gave it a slight squeeze. “I may be able to help,” you said. He shook his head, shifting to the other side. His hands slid out of yours. He rested his head against the tree trunk sighing heavily. The few words that were exchanged a few minutes back were replaced by the same heavy silence that existed between the two of you.

You heart wished he would trust you more but your mind told you it wouldn’t be right. You would begin to like him and who knows what will that turn into. Then one day he will realize that nothing is perfect and he will leave and you will be alone.

You shook your head out of your atrocious thoughts and went back to pretending to read.

The days after that passed the same way. He had started coming regularly but there was some change that you sensed. The silence between the two of you wasn’t the same beautiful one. It was cutting.

********************************************

“I want to take you somewhere,” he said. You looked up in surprise, fixing your glasses. Was he really talking to you after all that had happened a few days ago.  More than that, he was asking you such a thing when the two of you barely knew each other.

“Where?” you spit out while your heart kept telling you to do the opposite. Instead of answering you he grabbed your hand pulling you up.

“You won’t regret it,” he said as a smile embraced his lips. He looked happy that day. You smiled too and let him drag you.

The two of you entered the main quad in the park where all the life was. There were people everywhere. He jumped a little, waving his hands in the air as if introducing someone to you

“Look at this,” he said.

“Look at what?” you asked.

“This!,” he pointed to children playing, balloons flying, ice cream man yelling, birds chirping and the flowers dancing alone the wind’s light touch. He wanted to say more but just looking into your eyes made him stop. You were telling him you understood what he meant. It made you happy and it made him happy just a little more.

********************************************

He called himself Luhan. His name, his face, his everything made you smile. Just the thought of seeing him the next day made your heart flutter. He had started to open more.  He would tell you crazy things. How to do this and that, how to play around and get yourself out of trouble. You listened to his interesting rambles with such enthusiasm that he never wanted to stop. At other times he would talk about much serious things. What his dreams were. What he wanted to do in the near future. They always saddened you because it usually involved him moving away to S. Korea.

“Why?” you would ask.

“It’s my dream to become a star,” he would reply. Your expressions would darken and he would very soothingly run his fingers across your cheek trying to calm you.

He felt extremely awkward coming to your house the first time. He would say that back home he wasn’t allowed to do such things. You would giggle at his innocence. He made you feel things you thought you were incapable of feeling.

Just like one of those days he lay down his head resting on your lap. He had his eyes closed listening to music while you read your book. Something distracted you and so you began to look at him. He seemed calm but you felt like he was trying hard to suppress something.

“Everything alright?” you asked.

“Yeah,” he replied without opening his eyes.

“Luhannnn,” you said pushing him to get up and face you. “If there’s something troubling you then why don’t you say it?”

“Nothing’s troubling me,” he replied getting ready to lie back down.

“No!” you suddenly snapped. “Just tell me okay? I am tired of you hiding everything from me.”

“When have I ever hidden anything from you?” he asked with flustered eyebrows.

“Everything,” you said pushing your hands back in slight frustration. “What do I know about you? I know nothing and I want too but you keep hiding everything from me. I want to know what upsets you? Why you cry sometimes and then wipe your tears as soon as I look at you?… I want to help you but I feel like you don’t trust me. Are we even….” You stopped halfway. You had very often wanted to ask him where your relationship stood with him or if there was even anything between you and him. He never defined it but he also didn’t know that it bothered you a lot. Luhan slid a little bit more, getting ready to leave but you held him. “You can’t just leave like this.”

“You want to know why I’m like this?” he grabbed your arms and held you tightly.

“Yes I do,” you replied even louder.

“It’s because I was sexually harassed my entire childhood,” his words echoed in the hollow air. A gasp escaped your mouth while tears began to rush out of your eyes unannounced. You were in a state of shock, not blinking one bit.

“This is why I never wanted to tell you such things. It hurts me every time I think about it and honestly.. you’re not making it any better for me,” he said pushing you back.

“Luhan,” you whispered his name as he stomped out of the room. Before you could stop him, he was gone. You ran to the door but there was no sign of him. “Luhannnn,” you called out hoping he would return. There was no response. He was gone…

************************************************

Two days later:

You felt like someone was knocking on your door. But then again you had been feeling like that for the past 48 hours. He wasn’t going to come. He had made it pretty clear by not answering your text messages or calls.

“_____________! Please open the door,” you heard his voice from the opposite side of the door. The next second you lunged towards it opening it wide. He grabbed you violently and pulled you into a hug. “I’m sorry,” you heard him say as he planted a kiss on your neck. “I over reacted. Please forgive me. None of it is your fault.”

“No I’m sorry,” you said. You felt him shake his head, also wiping his tears on your shoulder.

Things went back to normal pretty quick after that. The usual movie nights or meeting at the quad resumed. He had started to smile again. You tried your best to not perk anything that would upset him. You wanted to hold on to him tightly and never let go. He’d been through so much in life and you thought you had it hard. He was different. He was special…

Little did you know that what was yet to come was going to bring everything you wished never happened to reality.

*************************************************

“_______________ah! Open the door,” you heard him yell one night. You rubbed your eyes to look at the clock. It was almost midnight. He never came this late. In fact he tried to leave before 10.

You opened the door to let him in. He was smiling. It wasn’t the usual kind of smile. This one was different because it seemed genuine. He was truly smiling that day. Whatever he had to tell you sure was special.

“I’m going to Korea,” he said without waiting for you to calm down. “I’ve finally decided what I want to do. I want to go there. I think I can do it ___________. I think I can.” Your stared at his face in horror. The words he was uttering sounded selfish. Was he only thinking about himself and not you? Did he even care. Why was he so happy? It made you jealous. You wanted to rip that smile off of his face.

“___________,” he snapped his fingers forcing you back to reality. “You wanted me to be happy right? I think this will make me happy. I think this is what I want to do.”

“But…” you said but stopped upon feeling a heavy lump in your throat.

“But what?” he said. And then there in that moment you knew there was no stopping him. You had no right to stop him and even if you did, you just couldn’t. He was happy. How could you steal that from him?

“Nothing,” you said forcing a smile on your face. He leaned to give you a sweet kiss on your cheeks. “Thanks for staying by my side this whole time,” he said. His hands slowly slid out of yours along with which you felt your whole world sliding out. Your heart mocked you for falling in the trap you never wanted to.

“Luhan,” you called after him.

“Ye,” he turned around.

“Keep in contact,” you said smiling weakly.

“Of course,” was the last word he uttered before he left.

****************************************************

One year later:

You slowly walked down the busy street dodging anyone who came an inch of a distance close to you.  You trailed through the lively part of the park and into your usual hiding, away from all the noise. You opened your book and sat down to read.

“Keep in contact,” you had said.

“Of course,” he had replied.

You heard those words echo in your mind once again. Before tears could come out of your eyes you shut them tightly. He had lied to you. He didn’t message you after the first two month. You didn’t know what had happened to him. All your research always led you to a dead end. There was no sign of him. Had he become a trainee? Was he still alive? Had he moved on?- You didn’t know anything. It had been almost a year and it was pretty clear that he had forgotten about you. Just when you had started to fall for him, he’d left you. Just when you had started to think that maybe, maybe you were wrong your whole life. Love did exist and being loved in return wasn’t that bad after all- he’d left. He had no idea what kind of damage he had done. You were there when he needed someone and now when you needed him he was so far away.

You had considered going after him many times but thinking you would only make a fool out of yourself you dropped the idea. It wasn’t worth it you would say but your heart would whisper that ‘it was.’

*Ring Ring…ring.. ring..*

You woke up in panic, trying to look for your phone in the dark. It was buried under the sheets somewhere. Your hands moved in all the directions. You finally gave up and turned on the lights. The phone stopped buzzing as soon as you picked it up. It was an unknown number. ‘Who would call at this hour…’ you thought. Just as you decided to go back to sleep the cell phone buzzed again. Hesitantly you picked it up. There was no voice from side aside from the light breathing. Your heart felt a strange tingle. You clenched your fist nervously.

“Guess who,” the voice said. Silence took over once again.

You didn’t know what else to do but smile. He’d come back…

The ’D’ room story [Luhan]

 Requested by French anon

You poked your head from behind the wall slightly, to see if the coast was clear. Your mathematics teacher was nowhere to be seen. You looked at your watch.

“Yes..” you celebrated. The class had already started. You could totally skip it, just like all the other days. Just then somebody smacked the back of your head.

“Ouch,” you pouted and turned around. “Luhan..”

“Are you skipping class again?” he asked watching you struggle to loosen his grip on your hand.

“Obviously,” you said and shrugging his hand away.

“No! You’re coming with me today,” he said and began dragging you.

“But you know how much I hate that class. Pleaseeeee..” you whined.

“You’ve missed way too many classes. You’ll fail the class. Do you really want that?” he said sternly.

“Of course not,” you replied with a cheeky smile.

“What do you plan to do then?”

“You’ll help me on the final won’t you?” you winked at him.

“Umm No! I will not cheat. Now come on.”

No matter how much you struggled, you knew Luhan was going to win. He was good at persuasion. You’d known him for almost two years and it didn’t take the both of long to become good friends. You guys weren’t particularly ‘close’ since you did get awkward with each other sometimes. But both you and him hung out occasionally.

************************************************

“This is the second time this week that the two of you are late. What’s wrong with you two?” said the professor seeing you two casually walk in.

“Mianhamnida,” Luhan apologized and took his seat. You followed close behind.

“Ms. _______,” the professor called on you soon after you settled down. “How about you solve problem no. 8 on the board.

“Huh! What problem no. 8?” you asked completely taken by surprise.

“Umm the one from the homework I assigned yesterday.”

“I wasn’t here yesterday.”

“So? Is that my problem?” the professor said angrily. You knew there was no point arguing. You got up and walked to the board. You obviously had no idea how to solve it so you just stood there staring at the problem.

“I don’t have all day,” he said impatiently looking at his watch.

“I don’t know how to do it,” you mumbled.

“Of course you wouldn’t since you’re always so busy doodling in your notebook,” he said snapping the stick he had in his hand. You jumped back to get out of range.

“Just go back to your seat,” he said grinding his teeth. You frowned to hide the embarrassment and walked back quickly. You made a quick eye contact with Luhan. He seemed to be upset.

“What’s wrong with you?” you asked.

“Why didn’t you do the homework?” he whispered.

“I didn’t come to class. How would have I known we had homework? .. Okay now help me solve this one.”

“Give it to me,” he snatched the notebook from you and started explaining. He looked up after a while only to find you staring at him.

“What?” he said as his cheeks blushed a light pink. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

You giggled. “The way you explain is so cute.”

Luhan chuckled nervously and shook his head. “Okay concentrate now. So if you add the square root of 25 to ..”

“Will you two love birds stop flirting,” the professor shouted from across the class.

“What?” you snapped.

“Oh no no, I was just explaining..”

“Detentionnnnnn!!,” the professor announced.

“What no,” both you and Luhan cried at the same time.

“I am sick and tired of your attitude in the class. Both of you need to learn some manners.”

“It wasn’t her fault,” Luhan said standing up. You held his hand and tried to pull him back but he shrugged it away. Both you and him knew that detention would look bad on your record if you wanted to go to the university of your choice.

“Luhan stop arguing with me.” The professor walked up to the two of you, handing two yellow slips. “This will teach both of you a lesson.”

“I’m sorry,” you whispered to Luhan

“Ken chan ayeo [it’s alright]” he mouthed the words before burying his head in his arms.

**********************************************

You’d reached the detention room way before Luhan. He came in with a sour face and sat beside you.

“Come on.. it’s our last year here. We had to experience something here,” you said trying to cheer him up.

“It’s fine,” he said pulling a smile.

“No it’s not. It’s my fault. I feel bad for getting you in trouble.”

“It’s fine. Really!,” he replied.

You really did feel bad. Luhan had such a warm personality. He always managed to cheer you up when you were upset and then there was you. You always messed things for him. Sometimes you didn’t even know why he put up with you. It’s not like the two of you were best friends or anything. When you’d first seen him in school your jaw had dropped in amazement. He was the ultimate definition of perfection but then the two of you became friends and you let your feelings subside because the last thing you wanted was to fall for your friend. That always end up in a disaster and you did not want to go down that road. For some reason, that day you felt the same way, you did the first time you saw him.

“Oh Gosh what’s wrong with me,” you mumbled.

“Hmm, you said something,” Luhan asked turning his head to you.

“Oh nothing,” you sighed and rested your head on the table.

I should tell her how I feel. It’s almost the last three weeks of school. I won’t see her after this at all..’ Luhan thought to himself. He’d been debating whether he should tell you, how he felt about you for the longest time. The first time he saw you, there was something different that he noticed. You seemed so shy but then he had a class with you and you were the total opposite. He’d fallen for you that very day but never had the courage to tell you. You always teased him about how all the girls ran after him. He smiled back at you but deep inside he hated it because you never took him seriously. Could a guy as popular or good looking as him not have sincere feelings for someone? He’d been your friend for way too long. It was time that he told you how he felt.

“________ah,” he nudged you.

“Hmm,” you murmured without looking up.

“I want to tell you something,” he said. He placed one of his hands on his chest to make sure his heart won’t pop out. You lifted your head to look at him.

“Um…I’ve been wanting to ..say this for a long time,” he said in broken words. He seemed really nervous. For some reason you had a slight hint of what he was going to say but you didn’t want to keep your expectations high.

“What is it?” you asked softly, and held his hand. His hands were cold but he seemed to gain more confidence upon your touch.

“Aaa.. I don’t know if we will ever see each other again after this but I just wanted to tell you that..,” he paused once again. He shook his head and closed his eyes. “I’ve liked you for a while.”

Your heart sank at the words he’d uttered.

“Whaaa,” you gasped in surprise before a smile took over your face. “Wooooo,” you made a weird sound not being able to believe what he’d said. Luhan nodded.

“Shhhhhhhhh,” the supervisor said entering the detention room. You quickly let go of Luhan’s hand and looked up front. He did the same.

Your phone buzzed. You opened the message. It was from Luhan.

????

:)’ – you replied.

‘So that’s a yes?’ –he texted back.

You looked up at him and smiled in approval. His face lit up and he shyly looked away. Your heart fluttered seeing his eyes shine. You didn’t know if you liked him as much as he liked you but it was enough to start off a beautiful relationship.

Don’t make me wait [Luhan]

Requested by anon

The weird feeling in your stomach was coming back again. You’d tried to control it for so long but as the time was nearing for you to walk up on the stage, it started coming back.

“You’ll be fine ________. You’ll be fine,” you told yourself repeatedly. You really wished Luhan was there to support you but his busy schedules always took up all his time.

“__________, you’re up!” One of your teachers told you from behind.

“Do I have to do this?” you asked.

“It’s your fault for being so smart,” she replied giving you a comforting smile.  Yeah it really was your fault for being such a high achiever that you had to give a speech at your graduation. You felt like your heart pounding and sweat beads forming on your forehead. You had never been nervous in your life. Blinded by the bright light, you slowly walked up to the stage. You didn’t realize that you were holding your stomach tightly with one of your hands. It was only when the Dean gave you a strange look, that you quickly slid it to the side.

“Anneyonghaseyo,” you said, holding the podium tightly. You closed your eyes one last time and then opened them again. A familiar but hazy images appeared in front of your eyes. ‘Is that Luhan? No, no it can’t be. He’s too busy. Why would he come…. Oh wait no that really is him. He’s really here. Yayyyyy. Oh God, why is he waving at me?? Everybody is staring at him. Gosh Luhan stoppp’

_______, ahem ahem,” the Dean said your name and cleared his throat.  You shook your head and began once again. This time you felt more confident since Luhan was there and he was looking right at you.  He gave you a thumbs up. You smiled briefly and resumed with your speech.

**********************************************

Luhan ran towards you and lifted you in the air. “That was a beautiful speech ________.”

“Put me down oppa, everybody is looking at us,” you said while laughing uncontrollably. He hugged you once your feet touched the ground.

“I’m so proud of you.”

“Gomawo.” you said, looking at him lovingly.  “I didn’t think you were going to come.”

“Then why did you send the invitation?”

“Just in case..”

“Why wouldn’t I come? It’s the biggest day of your life. Well no not really. The biggest day of your life is yet to come, if you know what I mean and then..”

You connected your lips to his to stop him from rambling on and on.

***********************************************************

Your phone had been buzzing for the past 10 minutes. You finally decided to pick it up.

“Hello,” you said with a sleepy voice.

“Open the door.”

“Huh?”

“I’ve been standing outside for the past 10 minutes.”

“Oh God, Oppa seriously!” you exclaimed getting out of bed.

“It’s only 10 o clock and you’re a sleep already?” Luhan said walking in.

“Yeah I had a long day,” you said following him into the living room.

“What’d you do?”

“Job hunting,”

“Oh I’ve been there. It’s horrible.”

“No you haven’t. You didn’t even finish college and SM took you in,” you said hitting him on the shoulder.

“It’s the charms _____,” he said pulling you closer to him.  He bit his lips and looked at you with his puppy dog eyes.

“Umm those don’t work on me,” you said playing with his hair. Luhan pulled you even closer to him and kissed you on your sweet spot.

“Aish, that tickles.” You giggled and tried to push him away.  A smile spread on his face but he didn’t stop.  You had to surrender. His soft hands worked their way under your shirt.

“__________, I want to tell you something,” Luhan said between short pauses.

“It’s Sehun isn’t it?” you said.

“What???” Luhan suddenly pulled away and chuckled.  “You saw the Sina live chat too?” he asked while blushing.

“Obviously!” you laughed.

“This is so embarrassing.” He said scratching his head

“No it’s not. I think it’s pretty cute,” you winked at him.

“Aish!,” Luhan pouted.

“Okay so what is it that you want to tell me?”

Luhan shifted towards you and took your hand in his.

“Actually I want to ask you something!”

“Ahan,” you nodded.

Luhan pulled you closer to him. He had a very serious expression on his face. “________, we’ve been going out for three years now. You’ve graduated out of university too so I was thinking.. if… aaa,” he swallowed a spit. “ I was thinking .. I mean I want…to have .. a baby.”

“Huhhhh?” you exclaimed with your eyes wide open and jumped back. You calmed yourself immediately because as you thought about it, the question wasn’t that surprising after all.

“But oppa..” you trailed off. You’d spoken too soon. You needed some time to think. “Ummm I don’t know what to say,” you said looking away. Luhan was still holding your hand firmly.

“What do you mean?” he asked as if demanding an answer.

“I’m not sure oppa. Taking care of a child is a big responsibility.”

“You don’t think I’m ready for it?” he asked.

“No, no that’s not it,” you said turning around to face him. You placed your hand on his cheek.

“Then what is it?”

“We’re both too young.”

“So what? We should start early.”

You had to admit, his comment was funny. A smile broke on your face.

“I don’t think I’m ready yet.”  You said.

“Why?”

You snapped your fingers as if you knew that the excuse you were going to make was going to win you the argument. “My figure,”

“What about it?”

“I don’t want to mess it right now!” you pouted.

“It doesn’t matter what you look like, I’ll still love you ________. It’s what’s on the inside that matters. I’m not that shallow and you know that too,” Luhan said squeezing your hand.

You were running out of excuses. You tired one last time. “I still have a career to start oppa.”

“You can still continue it.”

“Why don’t you understand oppa? I’m just not ready at the moment. I’m not in that state of mind yet and I certainly don’t want to rush things as if now. Please don’t push me.”

Luhan’s mood suddenly changed. You weren’t sure if it was because of your last statement or if he had just given up. He slid your hand off of his and got up. Disappointment showed clearly on his face.

“You know what _______, Just forget it.”

“Oppa!” you called after him but he’d left already. Everything happened so quick, you didn’t know what to do.  You wanted to go after him but you changed your mind instantly since both of you needed some time to think.

*********************************************************

You knocked on the door for the third time before Lay opened the door. The eye bags from not sleeping the night before were clearly visible on your face.

“You alright?” he asked.

“Yeah I’m fine. Where’s Luhan?”

“In his room!”

“Oppa?” you said poking your head inside Luhan’s  room.

He looked up at you and then looked away.

“Are you still mad?” you asked sitting next to him.

“What do you think?” he asked.

“I don’t want us to fight, please,” you insisted. “Can’t we just talk it out?”

“We did. Yesterday!”

You thought about what to say next since the situation was very sensitive. “I do want this to, just not at the moment. “

He furrowed  his eyebrows to show his disapproval of your statement.

“What? So you’re just going to let me go if I don’t say yes?” you asked.  As expected he didn’t say anything. You were a little frustrated too but you had to convince him somehow. Maybe not that day but sometime later. You got up to leave but Luhan held your hand.

“Of course not,” he said looking at you now. He took a deep breath and pulled you to sit down next to him. “I don’t want to force you into this. If we will do this, we should do it happily.” He still looked upset but he was trying.

A smile appeared on your face.

“Thank you,” you said and gave him a hug. He rubbed your back and rested his chin on your shoulder.

“Just don’t make me wait for long,” he whispered.

“I won’t, I promise.”

And I will always love you [Luhan]

 Requested by imaginationsmile

“Here, take some. It’ll make you feel better,” you offered chicken soup to Luhan.

“Thanks babe,” he said taking it from you. You slipped besides him in bed.

***Aaa.. aaa..Aachooo*** Luhan sneezed.

“This is what happens, when you don’t listen to your girl friend and go out in the rain,” you teased him.

“Yeah, I really should start listening to you,” he said making a cute face.

“Aish, don’t make that face,” you patted his arm. Luhan smiled at you while gulping down the soup.

“So how long will you be gone, this time?” you asked.

“Aaaa, three weeks,” he replied.

“Three weeks? Oh my my,” you made a face.

“I know,” he sighed. You cuddled up besides him, putting his arms around you.

“You’ll get sick,” he warned.

“I don’t care,” you replied, placing your hands on his chest. He gave you a kiss on your temple and ran his fingers through your hair. You fell asleep instantly.

****************************************

“Oppa wake up,” you shook Luhan but he didn’t even budge. You shook him again, but still there was no response.

“Oppa, you’ll be late for your flight,” you said, a little bit louder this time. You had no choice but to drop water on his face. You went back into the bathroom to get some. Luhan opened his eyes to see what you were up too. He’d been up the whole time. He just wanted to mess around with you.

“Okay you asked for this,” you said holding a bottle of water on top of his face. Just as you were about to drop it on his face, Luhan opened his eyes and grabbed you. He pulled you towards him, making you fall on the bed.

“What? You were up the whole time?” you asked.

“Ye,” he replied, tickling you.

“Aii, oppa stop,” you began to laugh. You were very ticklish. He gave you a peck on the cheek and then on your neck.

“I’m going to miss you so much,” you sighed.

“Me too,” he replied getting out of bed. “I should get going. I don’t want to be late.”

“Don’t you want breakfast?” you asked.

“Aneyo, I’ll eat it there.” Luhan gave you a quick peck before leaving.

Now all you had to do was wait for him to return like you did most of the time. You just hoped that this time he’d return on time because three weeks from then was going to be your one year anniversary with him.

*********************************************

“Hey Luhan, oh my God! I didn’t know you were going too,” Suri walked up behind him. Luhan turned around immediately at the familiar voice.

“Suri,” he gasped. He was so surprised at seeing her after so long. Luhan had liked her before they debuted but never had enough courage to confess his feelings to her.

“So, you’re coming too,” he asked.

“Ye,” Suri went on explaining how she was a last minute addition to the show. Luhan listened with his mouth half open. There was something about her that enveloped all of his attention.

“Well I’m glad that you’re coming. This trip will be a lot more fun now,” he said with a nervous smile.

“Ye,” she replied playing with the strands of her hair.

The trip indeed, was an interesting one. Luhan had met Suri after so long that he forgot about everything else. He ran around her all the time, trying to spend as much time with her possible. You called him every day but he didn’t pick up and when he did, he just talked for a few minutes. You didn’t care at all. All you needed was to hear his voice and that was enough for you. You loved him too much to pry over things like these. You always wondered why Luhan asked you out in the first place. You were definitely not as pretty or anywhere near perfect as the idol girls. Sometimes you felt that he deserved someone much better, someone who could at least be compatible with him.

*******************************************

It was almost the end of the third week and you were anticipating Luhan’s return desperately. Two nights from then was going to be your first anniversary and you wanted it to be perfect. You couldn’t resist so you called him.

“Are you back yet?” you asked.

“Ye, came back last night,” he replied. He sounded tired.

“Oh okay. Do you want to come over tomorrow?” you asked.

“Uh, actually I’ll come over tonight. I need to talk about something.” He said with a serious tone.

“Yeah that’d be fine.” You replied as your heart jumped with excitement.

*****************************************

‘Can you come to the park downstairs?’ - Luhan texted you.

You wore the prettiest dress that you could find in your closet. You were hoping he’d do something special, even though there was still two days left till your anniversary.

“It’s cold out here! Why are you wearing that?” Luhan asked you as you approached him.

“I didn’t know it was going to be this cold,” you said rubbing your arms for warmth. You were regretting wearing the dress. Instead of complimenting you, he was getting angry. He didn’t seem to be in a good mood. The two of you began walking. The sun was setting; the darkness slowly taking over.

“_________, I want to tell you something,” he said stopping by a tree.

“Ye,” you replied. You couldn’t tell if he was upset or nervous. You’d always found it hard to read his expressions. In some deep corner of your heart, you had a feeling you weren’t going to like what he was about to say but you shrugged it off.

“I think we should break up,” he said without looking at you.

“What?” you gasped as your heart sank. ‘What?’ – you repeated in your head. Why did he say that? It didn’t make sense.

“I’m sorry. I just want to be honest with you because I do care about you. Over this trip I met Suri.”

Oh so it was Suri’ – things started making sense now.

“I had no idea I still had feelings for her until I saw her again. I am so sorry ________. I didn’t mean to hurt you but I don’t think I can take our relationship any further. I don’t want to lie to you and I don’t want to lie to myself either. My feelings have changed..” he trailed off.

You were dumbfounded. You were surprised at the sudden confession. As it slowly started sinking in, it wasn’t that surprising any more. You knew this was going to happen one day. You could see it coming. Suri was perfect in every way while you couldn’t stop counting all the flaws that you had. You wanted to be mad at him but could you really be mad at him? Instead you blamed yourself for not being the right girl for him. You felt weak as if someone had soaked all the energy out of you. You sat down on the bench.

“_________ ah, please say something!” Luhan said. You didn’t respond. You didn’t have anything to say. What did he want you to say anyways? Beg him to stay? Forgive him for hurting you? Or to tell him that you were going to be okay. You were not going to be okay at all. He had no idea what he’d done to you in a mere 30 seconds. “I didn’t want to hurt you that’s why I’m doing this now before it was too late.” Luhan added, seeing that you weren’t responding.

Too late?’ -yes it was, ‘one year’ too late. He probably didn’t even remember that you guy’s anniversary was coming. You were completely and madly in love with him. He obviously didn’t feel the same way. Luhan took off his jacket and wrapped it around your shivering body. A tear rolled down your cheek. He lifted his hand to wipe it but you lightly pushed it away.

“_________,” he said your name again but you still didn’t utter a single word. Your silence was killing him. You got up and took off the jacket that he had wrapped around you. You handed it back to him and began walking. He was a stranger to you now and you didn’t like accepting things from people you didn’t know.

“_________,” he called after you once again. You turned around, to look at him one last time.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered. That was the moment you decided that you never wanted to see him again. You were going to move on in life no matter how much it hurt you.

********************************************************

Luhan turned on the lights in his room. Two arms grabbed him from behind. He jumped around.

“Suri?” he gasped.

“Ye, don’t panic silly,” she slid her arms behind his neck.

“How did you get in?” he asked.

She leaned in, stopping very close to his face. “Does it matter?”

Luhan pulled a smile, trying hard not to show that he was upset.

“So did you breakup with her?” she asked. He nodded back.

“I’m sorry about all of this.” She said with a sad face. She really did feel bad.

“Aneyo don’t say that,” Luhan said immediately, putting his hands on her mouth. “None of this is your fault.”

“Really?” she purred, slowly taking off her shirt. She gave Luhan a kiss on the neck and pulled him towards the bed…

*****************************************************

Tears finally began rolling out of your eyes as you reached home. You had held them in long enough. It was time to let them out now. You curled up under the sheets holding your hands close to your chest and wept all night.

Your eyes hurt when you woke up the next morning. You wished you never woke up because now the night before’s events were coming back slowly and you wanted to cry again. Too bad, your tears had dried up. You couldn’t even express the emptiness inside of you now. You tried to convince yourself that you were much stronger than this. You could easily move on. You figured that if you told this lie to yourself enough times, you might actually start believing it.

*************************************************************

A month later..

“Why’d you bring me here?” Suri asked sliding her arms into Luhan’s.

“I like walking in the parks.” He replied.

“Well I find it boring,” she pouted.

“Okay walk with me just this once,” he said.

“Oppa, don’t say it like that. You know I love hanging out with you.”

“I know,” Luhan chuckled while looking in the other direction. His eyes fell on you. You were at the park with your friend and his niece whom he was babysitting.

“Oppa?” Suri shook him.

“Huh,?”

“Where’s the bathroom? I really need to go.”

“Umm I think they have some, behind those stalls,” Luhan pointed towards the east.

“Ai gomawo, I’ll be back in a flash,” she said while running. Luhan turned back towards the direction you were in. You seemed happy. You were jumping with excitement as your friend got you and his niece a balloon. Soon another one of your friends came and joined. ‘She’s doing pretty well..’ Luhan thought to himself. As far as he knew you, he knew that you were very sensitive. He was thinking you’d still be sitting in your room sobbing but you were doing better than he’d expected. He was curious. He wanted to talk to you. More importantly, a little part of him was missing you. All the good times that the two of you had spent together were coming back to him. The way you’d wake him in the mornings. Make him breakfast. Bury your head in his chest every time you guys watched a scary movie. Bring him home cooked meals every time he craved them. Always argued about peeling the banana from the bottom and pouting when he wouldn’t listen to you. Falling asleep in his arms after a long day. Taking care of him when he fell sick. Blushing every time he complimented you. All these memories were coming back to him one by one as his eyes followed the movement of your body.

You didn’t notice him until he walked up to you. Your heart started racing but in the past one month you had trained yourself to be calm. Instead of breaking down you pulled a smile and waved at him.

“Hey Luhan,” you said cheerily.

“Hey,” he said with an inaudible voice.

Both of you stood in an awkward silence. You felt like you had clenched your heart tightly so it wouldn’t signal your brain to start crying again.

“How have you been?” Luhan asked after a long pause.

“Good,” you replied with the biggest smile on your face.

“Hmm that’s nice,” he said nodding his head.

“Oppaaaaa,” Suri called his name walking towards the two of you.

“________, what are you doing here?” she asked, sounding a little awkward.

“Ah, I’m just here with a bunch of friends,” you said putting your hands together.

“Oh that’s great but Luhan and I have to leave now,” she said pulling him. You were a little surprised because Luhan didn’t like being pushed around. He liked to have things in his control. He turned around and looked at you. You were looking right back at him. You turned around and looked at the bench where you and Luhan stood a month ago on a chilly night. His eyes followed your gaze. He looked towards the ground as if he understood what you were trying to say.

You went back to playing with the little girl but you broke down after making sure Luhan had left.

“_____ ah, why are you doing this to yourself?” Yeoung Jin asked you. “He clearly doesn’t deserve you. Look at him now. She is treating him the way he should be treated. You should be happy!”

“I can’t see him like this. It hurts me.” You said wiping your tears.

“Are you still in love with him?” he asked.

You nodded after a little while. Yeoung Jin sighed and hugged you. “You’ll be fine. I promise you okay!”

*********************************************************

Sleeping?’ – you read Luhan’s text. You were surprised that he still had your number.

No’

‘I’m at the park..’

‘It’s 2 in the morning,

‘I know’

You didn’t know how to respond. You were still thinking when your phone buzzed again.

Do you want to come..?’

‘I’m sleepy. Good night Lu han,’ – you made it clear that you wanted to be as far away from him as possible. But your heart wouldn’t let you sleep in peace. A little voice inside you kept bothering you.

*************************************************

“You came?” Luhan said as you settled besides him.

“Ye,” you replied without looking at him.

“It’s cold again,” he tried to make a conversation. You nodded, holding your shawl more tightly. “Here take my jacket.” He took it off and wrapped it around you.

“So what are you doing out here?” you asked.

“To be honest! I have no idea.” He sighed. Then without warning, Luhan turned towards you and pressed his lips against yours. You kissed him back for a brief second but quickly pulled away.

“Go back home oppa, Suri must be waiting for you.” You began to get up but he pulled you back.

“Don’t go please.” He said desperately. For the first time since you’d known him, you saw him getting teary eyed.

“Oppa please don’t do this to me again.” A tear rolled down your cheek even though you’d tried so hard to keep it in.

“I’m sorry ________. I am so sooo sorry.” He shook his head.

“It doesn’t matter anymore,” you pulled your hand away.

“It does. At least to me. Please come back.” He got up and stood beside you.

“You played with my heart and I was okay with that but now, don’t do this to Suri,” you said turning around once again to leave.

“Why are you like this?” he pulled you again. You looked at him with questioning eyes.

“Why do you always think about others before you think about yourself? You should slap me, hit me. Do whatever you want to because what I did to you was wrong.”

He waited for you to say something but you couldn’t even look him straight in the eyes.

“_________, your silence is killing me. Say something!” he shook you. You didn’t know why but you felt like hugging him and that’s exactly what you did. He wrapped his arms around you tightly. The two of you stood there for a long time.

“I should go,” you said pulling away and turning around.

“But..” he began to say something.

“I don’t know what I want right now oppa,” you said with your back facing him. You began to walk again. You knew you still loved him and you had forgiven him but you weren’t sure if you wanted to go back.

A smile spread across Luhan’s face seeing you wrap his jacket around you tightly. You didn’t return it this time. He knew you were going to come back one day. Now, it was his time to wait…

Beach Romance [Luhan]

Requested by anon

“Wohoooo I am so ready for the beach,” you hooted as you entered the room. Luhan turned around and looked at you. His eyes widened with surprise.

“What are you wearing?” he said picking up a towel to cover you.

“Aish Oppa don’t be such a child. It’s just a bathing suit,” you pushed him away lightly.

“You are not going out in front of the boys like this.”

You laughed at his insecurities.

“I’m serious,” he made a face.

“Okay okay, but don’t cover me now. It’s just you and me in the room,” you played with your finger on his chest. A smile broke on his face. He grabbed you from the waist and picked you up.

“Aii, what are you doing?” you asked between giggles. He put you down and leaned into kiss you.

“Today will be fun,” he whispered to you. You shyly looked away.

“Okay, now go get ready,” you pushed him into the bathroom. “And let me change too.”

*****************************************

“What????? Kai oppa you’re cheating again,” you pouted.

“Me cheating? What?” he snapped back.

“You don’t even know how to play beach volley ball,” you shouted back.

“Someone give these two hot heads some water.” Kris’s comment made you and Kai both burst into a laughter.

****We don’t need water**** - both of you said at the same time.

The game started again. This was the first time you had come to the beach with the guys after you and Luhan had started going out. You were having an amazing time. You were however dreading to give Luhan the big news.

“Luhan Oppa, come on! Don’t just lay there in the sun,” you yelled from afar.

“Aish, let me enjoy the sun,” he replied.

“He doesn’t know how to play beach volleyball, leave him,” Sehun told you.

“It’s a good thing he can’t hear you,” Kai  patted Sehun’s back.

All of you played for hours and were extremely tired.

“So how does it feel like to lose,” you asked Kai. You wanted to provoke him.

“You guy’s cheated,” he replied.

“Guys did you hear that?” you asked your team.

“Isn’t that what the losers always say,” Xiumin tried to trash talk with Kai.

You giggled. “Xiumin oppa, even when you trash talk you sound so adorable.”

Xiumin pouted making everybody laugh even more.

***********************************************

You looked around for Luhan but he’d probably gone inside. The sun was setting and the guys had decided to have a bon fire.

“Luhan oppa, where are you?” you poked your head in his room. He wasn’t there. You proceeded to the kitchen.

“There you are,” you said watching Luhan drink milk.

“Oh you guys came back,” he said turning around. You began laughing.

“Why are you laughing?” he asked.

You walked up to him and lifted your hands. “Your milk mustache,” you said and wiped it away. Luhan didn’t say anything. He was looking at you keenly, causing you to blush.

“Oppa, I need to get supplies for the s’mores, the guys are waiting.”  He still didn’t say anything but instead lifted you up and sat you down on the island counter top behind you. You wrapped your legs and arms around him pulling him closer.

“You must be really tired,” he said sliding his hands up your shirt. He used his soft but strong hands to massage your back.

“Oh that feels good,” you said closing your eyes to enjoy it.

Kai came in side looking for you. The guys were waiting for you and Luhan to come so they could start the fire. Kai however stopped outside of the kitchen. He could hear you moan. ‘What the heck are they doing?’ he thought to himself and smiled.

“Wow you’re really good at this!” you exclaimed.

“I learned it just for you,” he said with a sexy smile on his face. You hit him on the shoulder.

“Yeah right oppa,” you rolled your eyes.

Kai couldn’t resist so he poked his head inside to see what was really going on. ‘Oh a back massage’- he laughed in his head.

********************************************

“There they are!” Baekhyun announced as the two of you came out of the beach house.

“You two love birds need to take out sometime for us too,” Chanyeol remarked. Both of you squinted your eyes at him and settled by the fire.

“Now where is Sehun?” D.O asked making a face. “And we don’t have the sticks either. You guys can’t organize anything.”

**Yes Umma** - Chanyeol and Luhan said at the same time.

“Aish, don’t annoy him. I’ll get the sticks,” you said getting up.

“Okay and get Sehun on the way back!” Suho reminded.

“Ye,” you shouted back as you walked to the beach house.

You gathered all the sticks from the kitchen and began looking for Sehun.

“Sehun oppa,” you called.

“I’m back here,” he replied from the balcony.

You walked outside. He was on the phone with someone. You waited for him to finish.

“What happened?” he asked you, finishing his conversation.

“The boys are waiting for you,” you replied.

“Has the bon fire started already!” he asked.

“Ye,” you said while turning around. “Now hurry,”

“_________ah wait,” he called you.

**********************************************

“Luhan go and check where these two are now. I swear everybody is so slow today,” Chanyeol said impatiently.

“I know, where are these two,” Luhan said getting up to look for you and Sehun.

***********************************************

“Ye,” you turned around.

“Have you told him yet?” he asked.

You sighed and looked towards the floor. “I’m scared,”

“Of what?”

“He might get upset.”

Luhan entered the beach house. He saw the balcony door open so he walked towards it. He could hear you and Sehun talk.

“He won’t get upset. If anything he will be happy to hear it,” Sehun replied.

“What if he doesn’t want this?” you asked.

“He’ll be fine. Trust me I know him.” Sehun said putting his hand on your shoulder to comfort you.

A smile broke on Luhan’s face. He couldn’t have been more happy. He knew something was up with you. All his suspicions were confirmed now. He knew that you were pregnant with his child. He was upset though that you would think he wouldn’t be happy if you told him. He’d been waiting for this long enough.

But was that really what you wanted to tell him?..

**************************************

“They’re coming,” Luhan said settling down. You and Sehun followed close behind.

You had the bundle of sticks in your hand. “Let me get them,” Luhan said taking them from you. He’s decided that he was going to wait and let you tell him yourself but he still had to take care of you.

“I can get them oppa.”

“No they’re too heavy,” he replied. You gave him a strange look.

“Aaaaa, this is so good!” Chanyeol said stuffing a s’more in his mouth.

“Yeah,” Xiumin replied, also enjoying his s’more.

Baekhyun snapped his fingers. “I have an idea. Let’s all have a heart to heart conversation.”

**What??** everybody said at the same time and giggled.

“What’s wrong with that?” he pouted.

“Nothing my love,” you defended Baekhyun.

“Oh ______, if that’s what you think how about we start with you. Do you have something to say?” Kai asked you.

“Me? Aneyo! I don’t have anything to say,” you shook your head.

“Really? Are you sure there is nothing you want to tell me?” Luhan asked you squinting his eyes. Your heart sank. Did he know? You looked at Sehun. He shrugged his shoulders. He had no idea.

“No,” you said once again.  Luhan didn’t take his eyes off of you. He was making you nervous.

“Give her a break,” Kai hit Luhan with his stick. “We’ll start with someone else.  Sehun how about you go first!”

“Me?” Sehun jumped back.

**Yeah** - Xiumin and Chanyeol said at the same time.

Sehun sighed. “Alright I have a confession to make.” He looked at Luhan with a serious face. “Hyung, I couldn’t find my underwear yesterday so I stole yours.”

The sounds of laughing and clapping, and patting Sehun were filling the air.

________________________________________________

You found yourself wrapped tightly in Luhan’s arms when you woke up the next morning.

“Oppa wake up,” you shook him.

“Is it morning already,” he said rubbing his eyes.

“Ye, I should go make breakfast for everybody.” You said getting up and holding your waist. It still hurt from the day before.

“Does your back hurt?” Luhan asked.

“Yeah! A little bit, but I’ll be fine.”

“No, no! You need to rest. I’ll help D.O make breakfast.”

“I’m fine oppa! Really I’m fine,” you reassured him. You didn’t quite understand why Luhan was being so protective all of a sudden but you liked it.

**************************************************

“Oh that’s probably really heavy. Let me get it,” Luhan quickly took the pitcher from your hands. You shook your head as you sat beside him.

“You should move in with us _________,” Kris said licking his fingers. “This is the best omelet I’ve had in forever.”

“Gomawo,” you smiled.

After breakfast everybody scattered. Most went to the beach while others went to the store to get more food for tonight. Kai and Luhan were still in the beach house, getting ready.

“So when are you and ______ going to tell everybody?”  Kai asked Luhan.

“Tell what?”

“Oh please! Loose the act. I know ______ is pregnant! I’ve seen how you panic whenever she lifts something heavy and that back massage that you were giving….” He realized he’d said too much. “Opps!” he bit his tongue.

A smile broke on Luhan’s face. “I didn’t know it then but then later I heard her talk to Sehun. She was telling him that she’s scared of telling me because I might get mad.”

“Then why don’t you just tell her that you wouldn’t?”

“No, I don’t want to spoil the moment for her. I want her to come to me and say it.”

“Okay!” Kai patted Luhan’s back.

************************************************

“Today was great wasn’t it?” you said while packing your stuff.

“Yeah! I don’t want to go back tomorrow!” Luhan replied throwing his shirt at you. “Put that one in too.”

“Oppa I need to tell you something,” you finally said it. Luhan jumped up with excitement.

“What?” he asked not being able to hold back his smile.  You weren’t sure why he was smiling but you knew you had to tell him before it was too late.

Luhan walked over and pulled you towards him. You placed your arms on his chest to create some space between you and him.

“The scholarship that I applied for. Well,.. I got accepted so I have to leave for 3 months,” you said and closed your eyes. You could feel Luhan’s grip loosen on you. You slowly opened your eyes. His expressions had hardened. He wasn’t smiling anymore.

“Is this what you had to tell me?” he asked with a disappointed face. He seemed his hurt. The tears forming were making his eyes shine.

“Ye,” you replied.

“But, what about the baby?” he asked.

“Baby?” you looked at him with questioning eyes.

“You’re pregnant right?” he asked holding your hands, hoping you’d say yes.

You shook your head, also surprised at what Luhan had just said.

“But then what were you telling Sehun yesterday?” he asked.

“I was talking about the scholarship and how I’d have to leave for a bit. I was afraid you would get mad. I too found out a week ago and while I was talking to them Sehun heard me. That’s how he knew about it. He wanted me to tell you instantly but I disagreed. I was looking for the right time.”  You looked at Luhan for a response. He seemed devastated.

“I’m sorry oppa,” you whispered. Luhan sat down on the bed with his head bent down and his face buried in his hands. You sat beside him and put your hand on his shoulders.

“I didn’t know you wanted a baby!” you said. You were actually very happy to find out that Luhan wanted a baby. It meant that he was ready to take the relationship to the next level.

Luhan hugged you. “I don’t know what to say.”

“I won’t go if you don’t want me to,” you said.

“No, no! That’s not what I want!” he said pulling away and taking your face in his hands.

“I want you to do this program. You were really excited about this, remember?”

“Ai Oppa! Now I feel bad.”

“Don’t feel bad.”

You took his hands in yours and kissed them.“Gomawo,” you whispered.

He smiled at you and embraced you once again. He began kissing you and slowly pushing you towards the bed. He carefully slid on top of you.

“But before you go…” he said sliding his hand under your shirt as a smile spread on both yours and his face.

He really did want this baby…

Stay for me [Luhan]- *Zico*

Requested by Anon Naiya

You woke up, as you felt something wet and slimy on your hands. You had fallen asleep on the dinner table waiting for Zico. You looked down at the dog. He was licking your hand. You didn’t like him but Zico did so you had to bear with him.

“Not now Miso,” you said getting up. You were in no mood to feed him right now. He barked at you repeatedly.

“Be quiet” you yelled at him. He whimpered and curled up.

You felt bad. “Aish, come here,” you patted his head. You went to the kitchen and brought him some food. “Now go to sleep after this okay?” you instructed before going back to your room.

Today was nothing new. It was like all the other nights that Zico promised to come home early and then didn’t show up till dawn.

************************************************

“Good morning,” Zico said as you opened your eyes.

“When did you get home?” you asked.

“Late.”

“Well I know that,” you said rolling your eyes.

He ignored it. “I have to go, I have some important business to take care of.”

“On Sunday?” you raised your eyebrows.

“Yeah so?” he shrugged his shoulders.

You knew there was no point arguing with him. You could never win. You shook your head getting out of bed.

“See you later,” he said walking out.

“When will you get back?” you called after him.

“Not sureeee,” he shouted from outside.

All you could do was sigh. You just wished he would understand that you felt lonely some times. You had given up everything to be with him. You couldn’t even go out in public with him. You didn’t know a lot of people in Seoul either. The only person you wanted to blame was yourself because you had chosen this life for yourself.

***********************************************

‘When will you be home?’ – You texted Zico.

I dunno…’

‘Well I need to know’

‘Why do you have to be so annoying?’

You were mad now. There was no way he was going to treat you like this. You called him but he hung up on you. You called him again.

“What?” he yelled.

“What is wrong with you?” you yelled back.

“I don’t have time for this right now.”

“You don’t ever have time do you?”

“_______, I’m in the middle of something just stop texting and calling me okay,” he said and hung up.

Tears started forming in your eyes but you forced them back. You didn’t want to be weak.

Your phone buzzed again. You ran towards it. You knew he wasn’t that mean. He was going to apologize.

“Hello Zico,” you cried with joy.

“Its me Luhan,” Luhan replied.

You looked at the phone and felt so stupid. You didn’t even check the caller I.D before picking it up.

“Sounds like you were expecting Zico,” Luhan giggled.

“Ye…” you sighed.

“So are you free today?” he asked excitedly.

“Umm sort of,” you replied.

“Alright so I’m coming to get you. There’s this really cool Chinese performance at the Museum of Arts today.”

“Aiish but Oppa,”

“No buts, you’re coming with me,” he cut you short.

You were tired of sitting at home all day. There was no harm in having fun for once. So what if Zico wasn’t the one taking you. Your best friend in the entire world was taking you and that was good enough.  Luhan had been there for you in every important event of your life even the ones Zico couldn’t make to. This was the least you could do for him.

*Thud Thud* - Luhan banged on the door.

“I’m coming,” you screamed running towards the door with your shorts in your hand.

“Gosh, Oppa,” you said opening the door while pulling up your shorts.

“Ai, why do you take so long to get ready,” he made a face.

“It took me a long time to decide what to wear.”

“Girls!!” Luhan remarked.

You pouted.

“Okay come on, we’re getting late,” he pulled you out the door.

“Wait I haven’t done my hair yet,”

“You look great. Now come onnn,” he pulled you again.

You surrendered. There was no use stopping Luhan. He was always like this.

*******************************************

“Why are you yawning?” Luhan asked hitting you on the shoulder.

“Aii,” you rubbed your arm. “Its boring.  Why didn’t you tell me it was a Chinese musical? I don’t understand a thing?”

Luhan laughed. “Mianhe.”

****shhhhhhh**** - The audience from behind shushed you guys up.

*********************************************

“So? Did you like it?” Luhan asked with a cheeky smile.

“I loved it,” you said making a face.

He laughed and pulled you closer to him, half hugging you. You had no idea what happened to you but you suddenly started crying.

“Aye aye, was the performance that bad?” he asked with a worried look on his face. “I promise I won’t ever bring you here again.”

You shook your head and hugged him.

“Okay let’s go to a café,” he said pulling you into a small shop. He settled you down on a table in the corner and sat across you.

“What’s wrong?” he asked wiping your tears.

“It’s nothing,” you said looking away. You were embarrassed. You cursed yourself. You should have just cried earlier. At least you wouldn’t have to cry like this in front of Luhan.

“I think both of us have established that something is wrong so how about you just tell me instead of playing these games. You and I know both know that I will win.”

He was right. There was no point hiding it now.

“It’s Zico,”

“What about him?” he asked.

“He’s just not the same anymore. When we were not going out and just friends, he used to be nice to me. He would always be around me and now that we’re in a relationship he doesn’t seem to care. I feel like he was just flirting around before and I actually believed him.”

“Ai, don’t say that.” Luhan said shaking his head. “He loves you.”

“He doesn’t show it,” you shot back.

“You guys have only been going out for 6 months. Give him some time.”

“How much longer Oppa? He is ‘never’ there when I need him and when I ask him he gets annoyed. It’s as if I don’t even have a right to ask him!” you buried your face into your hands as more tears flowed out of your eyes.

“Hey, don’t cry” Luhan got up and sat beside you. He pulled you towards him and patted you.

*********************************************

“Where were you?” Zico asked angrily as you entered the apartment.

“I went out with Luhan.” You replied and proceeded towards the room.

“Did you ask me?”

You didn’t respond. Zico got up and advanced towards you. You were scared for what was coming.

“Answer me?” he said shaking you.

“I don’t ever ask you when you go out with Yena,” you shouted.

“She’s just a friend,” he replied looking away.

“Well, then Luhan is just a friend too,” you replied, still angry at his remark.

“Don’t talk to me in that tone,” Zico said grinding his teeth.

“Why shouldn’t I?” you snapped back, pulling out of his strong grip. “Do you even notice the way you treat me?”

“Oh please don’t start with that again!”

“No I will start with it ‘again’! Because you need to give me answers!” you said pulling his arm. He pulled it away angrily. “I’m starting to think you never loved me. If this is the way you were going to treat me then why did you ask me to be with you in the first place?” you yelled.

“Shut up!” Zico yelled back.

“I’m not going to shut up Zico. This has gone long enough.”

“Just shut up..” he said losing his patience.

“Is that all you can say?” you said.

Zico’s eyes were blazing with anger. He lunged towards you and slapped you across the face with extreme force. You lost your balance and fell hitting your head on the table behind you.

“Aaaaa,” you whimpered in pain but Zico didn’t come for help. Tears began rolling out of your eyes like a waterfall. You were disappointed in him. How could he be so cruel. You got up and pushed him. He lost his balance for a second but regained it and looked at you with anger.

“I hate you,” you said angrily. He rolled his eyes. You couldn’t take it anymore.

You went back to your room and packed all the stuff you were going to need immediately. Zico was sitting on the couch now, with his head bent down. You stood there hoping he would get up to stop you but he didn’t. His eyes were glued to the floor. There was nothing to stay back for anymore, if he wasn’t even going to bother saying anything.

“Goodbye Zico,” you whispered as you closed the door behind you. This chapter of your life was over now.

*******************************************

**Thud Thud** You banged Luhan’s door.

He opened it rubbing his eyes. “Oh my God what happened to you?” he cried in surprise looking at the bruises on your face. You hugged him.

“I didn’t know where else to go,” you said between your sobs.

Luhan took you to the living room and sat you down. He brought you some water and watched you drink it.

“What happened?” he asked as you finished.

“I’m not going back to him,” you said shaking your head. More tears flowed out of your eyes.

Luhan hugged you. “Did he do this to you?” he asked. You could sense the anger in his voice.

“Ye,” you whispered.

Tears began forming in Luhan’s eyes. He pulled away and looked away so he could wipe them without you knowing.

“So what now?” he asked.

“I don’t know. I guess I’ll buy a ticket back home.”

“You should wait a bit.”

“For what?” you said looking at him.

“Aa,” his voice choked. “For Zico.”

“No way,” you replied. “Just let me stay here for a while please?”

“You don’t have to say please! Stay as long as you want too,” he said patting your back.

************************************************

A week had passed away. You wanted to get your ticket as soon as possible because you hated making Luhan sleep on the couch everyday while you enjoyed the warm, comfy bed. You knew how much he loved his bed.

“Why are you up so early?” Luhan asked rubbing his eyes.

“I was looking up cheap tickets back to Singapore, but I think I heard a knock on the door.”

“Hmm, let me go check,” Luhan said while stretching.

You went back to searching for cheap tickets.

“_______,” Luhan called your name.

“Whatttt?”

“Come here!”

You got up and went outside only to find Zico standing at the door. You turned to return to your room.

“_______ wait!” Zico called after you.

“Please don’t.”

“No listen to me,” he said walking towards you. “I’m sorry! Please come back.”

“Why should I?” you asked.

“Because I need you?” He placed his hand on your arm.

“And you didn’t need me when I was with you?” you asked. He didn’t have an answer.

“I’m sorry Zico,” you said sliding his hand off your arms.

“Don’t do this!” he pleaded.

“I didn’t do this. You did.”

Zico looked at your face intently as if regretting what he’d done.

“I know what I did was cruel but let me make up for it.”

“There’s nothing to make up for Zico.”

He knew you weren’t going to come back. He’d lost you completely.

“Can you at least forgive me?” he sighed.

“I forgave you the day I left.” You said with a soft tone. You too felt bad but you knew in your heart that being with him was not what you wanted anymore.

“Thank you,” Zico whispered back and turned around to leave. You looked at Luhan. He was glaring at Zico.

***************************************************

You returned to the room and began packing your stuff.

“Do you have to go?” Luhan asked you standing at the door.

You looked up at him and nodded. He came up to you and pulled you towards him. You liked his hugs. They were always so warm and comforting.

“Please don’t” he whispered.

You felt your heart flutter, hearing this from him. You didn’t respond but continued to hug him. He brought his face closer to your face and kissed you on the neck.

“Stay for me,” he whispered.

A smile broke on your face. You could feel him smiling too.

****Myoppamyoppa submitted this scenario in response to a REQUEST I made to my followers - to write a scenario for me. [ I love her so much] Enjoy the story. It’s beautiful!****

Angel from Above - Submission

_________________________________________________________________

You were slowly walking through your favorite park on a sunny afternoon. The sun was out and shining and all was beautiful in yours’ and God’s eyes. A simple toon was emanating from your lips

hao xiang, shen me dou bu dong de hai zi yi yang, chun zhen
chong sheng, na ge mei li de shun jian

How you had managed to memorize chinese lyrics was beyond you, but then again you did it with korean ones all the time. EXO-M’s ’Angel’ was stuck in your head on this bright beautiful day. There were children playing kickball and people walking dogs. You thought that life in Korea would be hard, but it was better than you thought. You had lived there a month and still were rusty on your korean. Your job at a local cafe was what permitting you to have this lunch hour, which you used for a walk in the park and the munching of some bread. Giving some to the ducks by the small pond of course.

Suddenly you heard voice yelling in korean, but you couldn’t make out what they said until you were struck in the head with a kickball and nocked to the ground unconscious.

________________________________________________________________

Your eyes were hazy as you blinked them open. The sun was shining behind a figure whose silhouette caused you to not see his face until he came closer revealing the face of an angel.

‘Luhan?’ was all you could think as those doe-like eyes looked at you with concern.

“Gwaenchanha?” he asked obviously not knowing you were american.

“Ah, nae.” You said trying to stand up, but losing your footing and somewhere in-between ended up in Luhan’s arms. Your face only centimeters from his. Your cheeks turned red like two little tomatoes as he smiled at you.

“Yeppeo.” He giggled as you tried to step away.

“Aniyeo, camsamnida……..oppa.” You whispered that last part.

Just as you were walking away he grabbed you hand and place a box in it. You looked at him as he smiled and waved goodbye.

______________________________________________________________

When you got back from your lunch-break and opened the box out of deathly curiosity you found notecards on top of three chocolate-chip cookies.

I saw you working yesterday. You went out to lunch and asked the bakery next door if they had any chocolate-chip cookies. When they said no you were sad.

The first card surprised you that he saw you and followed you. His english also surprised you. How did he know you spoke english?

Kris-hyung is helping me write these. Hi!! That was Kris. You have a really cute american accent when you speak korean. Sorry if you think I am strange for following you. I was bored and curious. You are cute.

The last sentence made you blush.

Please enjoy the cookies me and Kris made. I didn’t know how to make them, so he helped me. Love, Luhan. (and Kris)

You that was so adorable. When you got to the last cookie you bit into an paper on the back of the cookie.

***-***-**** Call me :) <3

I missed you [Luhan]

Requested by anon

You saw doctors and nurses running around the hospital as you entered.

‘Oh Great, first day of internship and this is what I get’- You thought to yourself.

You approached one of the nurses and asked her what was going on. Instead she stared at you and then ran in the opposite direction.

“Waittt,” you called after her but she didn’t listen.

Now you were worried too.

“What’s going on here?” you asked one of the receptionists.

“You don’t know?” she asked, disbelievingly.

You shook your head.

“One of the Exo members got into an accident this morning.”

Your heart sank as you heard what she had said.

“Who is it?” you whispered hoping it wouldn’t be Luhan.

“Lu Han..” she replied.

You felt your throat getting dry and your stomach starting to hurt. This couldn’t be happening. You had been madly in love with the Exo Members ever since they debuted but you had always had a thing for Luhan.

Tears began flowing like waterfall out of your eyes as you hid in a corner looking at the chaos in the hospital.

“Any hopes?” one of the managers asked the doctor.

The doctor seemed hopeless. “We’ll try our best,” he said and proceeded towards the emergency room.

You had no personal relations with Luhan but your heart still ached. You were too distracted at your duty. You prayed all night for his life.

“You can go home now! You’re duty for tonight is over,” one of the nurses told you.

“No, I think I’ll stay for a little bit more,” you replied. Your eyes were fixed on the emergency room door. Any moment the doctor was going to come out and give everybody the news. You were just hoping that it would be positive.

*******************************************

You had no idea when you’d fallen asleep in the waiting room. You were glad that you were an intern otherwise you would have to stand outside in the cold like all the other fangirls. You got up and walked towards the emergency room. The managers seemed relaxed.

“Is he okay?” you asked your fellow nurse.

“He’s fine,” she said with a smile.

If you weren’t in a hospital, you probably would have jumped with excitement.

Soon after the managers left so Luhan could rest. Nobody was in his room. You wanted to see him, just this one time. You walked towards his door; your heart beating faster than ever. You slowly opened the door and poked your head inside. He was sleeping. You looked around to make sure, no one was looking. With all the courage, you took a step inside the room, then another and before you knew it you were sitting next to him. You could have never imagined seeing him like this.

Luhan began opening his eyes. You quickly got up to leave. You were by the door when he called you.

“My lower back hurts,” he said. You could hear the pain in his voice.

You turned around and looked at him.

“Uhh, I’m going to go get some help for you.”

“Can’t you help?” he asked.

“I’m just … an intern,” you said looking towards the floor.

“Okay,” he replied and closed his eyes.

You returned to the room with other nurses. They helped Luhan get into a more comfortable position as you looked from the corner. The nurses left and you were still standing there.

“Thank you,” he said.

You nodded. You began to leave but he stopped you again.

“Can you do me a favor?” he asked.

“Ye,” you replied.

“I’m missing the guys, Could you call them please?” he asked.

“The members are on their way,” you replied, recalling a conversation you’d heard between the nurses.

“Oh,” he sighed.

You left the room. As much as you wanted to see the Exo members, it was time you went home. You hadn’t had any sleep in two days.

*************************************************

You showed up at the hospital earlier than you should have, the next morning.

“Oh _____, good thing you got here early. Luhan made a weird request last night.”

“What?” you asked.

“He wants you to be one of his attendants, during the day.”

A shudder ran through you as you heard this. Why did he ask for this. You were happy, of course but you wanted to know why.

You knocked on the door before you entered. He was sleeping. You decided to return.

“Wait,” he called from behind.

“Ye,” you turned around.

“Why are you leaving?” he asked.

“I thought you were sleeping.”

“I’m not,” he sighed.

“Do you need something?” you asked.

“I’m lonely,” he said.

You weren’t quite sure how to reply to that.

“Will you watch TV with me?” he requested.

A smile spread across your face. You nodded and sat on the couch.

“My favorite show is probably on- Strong Heart,” he said.

“That’s my favorite too,” you cried with excitement. “Opps, Mianhamnida,” you covered your mouth.

“Hahaha, you’re fine,” he said.

The two of you began watching the show. Half way through Luhan got bored and started asking you questions about who you were, where you were from, why you were working as an intern.

The two of you talked for several hours. Luhan slowly drifted to sleep and so you left the room.

******************************************

This became your daily routine for the next month. You came in every morning and stayed with Luhan till the evening. You liked it but you hated it too. Seeing him in pain was no fun.

“Are you leaving?” he asked you, one evening as you got up.

“Ah ye,” you replied.

“Please stay!” he said.

“But my shift is over.”

“Not as an attendant, as a friend.”

You could hear your heart beat. You had goose bumps. You blinked your eyes repeatedly, something you did when you were nervous.

You cleared your throat. “Ah, okay!” you whispered.

You sat down on a chair beside him. It was raining outside. Both of you listened to the rain drops hitting the window sill. You felt at peace.

“They’re letting me go tomorrow,” he suddenly said.

“What, so soon?” you cried with surprise.

He quickly turned around and looked at you with a strange expression.

You were embarrassed. “Uh, I mean you’re not perfectly fit to walk,” you said.

Luhan chuckled. “Yes I can,” he said getting out of bed.

“Luhan Sii, don’t,” you stopped him but he continued. He took a step and then another but lost his balance. You held his hand to give him support.

“I’m fine,” he said with a calm smile on his face standing straight up.

He was still holding your hand.

“Ahem,” you cleared your throat, slowly pulling your hand away. Luhan shook his head and slipped back into bed.

“So will you come back for weekly checkups,” you asked.

“We have a concert in China next month.”

Your eyes widened with surprise.

“And they expect you to perform?”

“I’m assuming.”

“This is torture.”

“It’s my life,” he replied looking straight at you.

You pouted and looked away. The night slowly passed away and the sky was lighting up again as the sun rose.

“I should go now,” you said while yawning.

“I’m sorry I kept you up all night.”

“It’s alright.”

You left Luhan’s room but you were really upset. You didn’t want him to leave but what were you going to tell him? That you loved him! There was no possible way, he felt the same way about you. He was probably going to forget about you soon and move on in life. You went back home not wanting to see him leave.

***********************************************

Two weeks had passed and everything had gone back to normal. Deep in your heart you were depressed because Luhan, hadn’t for once tried to contact you. You kept telling yourself that you shouldn’t have expected anything from him. He was a star and you were an ordinary girl. Prince Charmings only existed in stories and your life was no fairly tale.

It was the last day of your internship. Everybody was showering you with gifts and thank you cards for doing such a wonderful job.

“__________, the doctor wants to see you.” Someone said from behind.

“Which room?” you asked.

“222.”

“Okay,”

You were hoping the doctor was going to ask you to stay longer. You really could use some money right now.  You gently knocked on the door. As you opened it , your mouth fell open and your heart started racing once again. Luhan was standing there with his back facing you.

“I don’t suppose doctors wear those kind of cloths to work,” you said with a big smile on your face.

Luhan turned around and chuckled. He didn’t say anything, instead he came up to you and hugged you.

“I missed you,” he whispered.

“I missed you too,” you whispered back.

You didn’t know what was going to happen next all you knew was that you were in the arms of the person you had loved for the longest time.

Please don’t hurt me again [Luhan]

Requested by anon

“Hey are you busy tonight too?” you asked Luhan on the phone.

“Ahh, yeah. Our practice will run a little late but I’ll try dropping by for a little bit,” he replied.

“No, no don’t stress yourself. We can meet on the weekend,” you suggested.

“I love you so much.”

“I love you too,” you said and hung up.

**********************************

“Hey Luhan,” a girl called him from behind.

“Hey,” he replied.

“What are you still doing here?” she asked.

“Oh just practicing.”

“But practice was over a long time ago.”

“I’m staying after because I need to do better.”

“Are you sure it’s not because you’re lonely and need someone?” she asked taking hold of his arm.

Luhan pulled away immediately. “Hanna I’ve told you this before and I am telling you again, NOTHING will ever happen between us okay? I have a girl friend now so you need to keep your distance.”

“I could honestly care less about your girl friend. She stole you from me,” she replied in anger.

“No she didn’t… you know what just..whatever.” He began packing his stuff.

“Where are you going?” she asked as tears formed in the corner of her eyes.

“To see my girl friend. I should be with ‘her’ right now,” he said and slammed the door behind him.

Luhan and Hanna had been friends for the longest time. He didn’t know when she’d started liking him. He only liked her as a friend. Then he started dating you and things changed. Hanna was devastated. She confessed her feelings to him soon after. They grew apart since Luhan didn’t want to make things awkward.

************************************

“Hey babe.” Luhan slid besides you in bed and kissed you on your temple.

“Heyyy,” you said yawning. “I thought you wouldn’t be able to make it tonight?”

“I wasn’t going to but then I realized that you were more important so I came,” he replied with a soft smile.

You kissed him. He wrapped his arms around you and the two of you drifted to sleep.

***************************************

Luhan left the training room to get some water. Hanna was standing in the corner. She glared at him and looked away. Luhan went up to her.

“Listen I am sorry about last night. I shouldn’t have been mean. I just want us to be friends again,” he said softly.

She turned around. She was obviously hurt but she smiled.

“Me too.” She hugged him suddenly. He was surprised but he hugged her back.

“So did you hear about the kickoff party next week before your tour?”

“Party? Huh where is it?” Luhan asked.

“At a hotel. Its five minutes from here. I am so excited,” she said clapping her hands.

“Me too,” he said and laughed. “I am so glad we can talk like this again.”

“Me too. I missed this so much,” she said.

***************************************

“I am at the party so I won’t be able to come. I really wish I could take you with me though,” Luhan said to you over the phone.

“Its fineee oppa. Go enjoy with your friends,” you replied.

He laughed. “Okay so I’ll see you soon.”

“Who was that on the phone?”  Hanna suddenly came from behind and asked.

“It was ________, I was just telling her that I won’t see her tonight.”

“Awwww, you two lovebirds,” she said forcing a fake smile.

Luhan chuckled. “Well this party is boring.”

“Yeah, hey listen the managers booked some rooms in the hotel too. We could just go there and talk?” she suggested.

Luhan felt a little uncomfortable.

“Come on I’ll invite other people too,” she added to make him feel better.

“Oh okay,” he replied and followed her to the room.

The two of them talked for hours. The friends never showed up.

“Huh, I don’t know why none of them ever showed up,” she said and sighed. “Anyway so what’s been going on in your love life,” she asked quickly changing the topic.

“Ahh ______ and I are just great..” he trailed off. “What about you?”

Hanna’s expressions hardened. She grew pale.

“What’s wrong?” Luhan asked placing his hand on her lap.

“Uh nothing,” she said shaking her head.

“No, tell me please.”

“It’s really nothing.”

“Please, if you consider me as a friend,” he insisted.

“After you rejected me I felt so insecure about myself. I needed someone so I could move on and so one day I met this guy. He was very nice to me. We started meeting often and then we started liking each other. Everything was good but then suddenly he just got so violent.” She paused as she stared into space. “He started hurting me. I told him to stop but he wouldn’t. He just continued to do so,” Hanna was crying now. “I wanted to get out of the relationship but I was afraid he’d hurt me more so I carried along and .. then one day he just left. I didn’t know if I was relieved or sad.”

Luhan wiped her tears.

“That experience has really left me nowhere. Every night when I go to sleep I feel so worthless.”

“You’re not worthless.”

“Yes I am Luhan..” she whispered.

Luhan felt extremely bad for her. They had been friends for so long and seeing her cry like this was hurting him more than he thought it would. He was confused. Why was his heart crying seeing Hanna’s tears. Luhan hugged her in a tight embrace. He patted her back and slowly pulled away. She was still holding him and now their faces were very close to each other. Hanna leaned in and kissed him on the lips. He didn’t pull away. They began taking each other’s cloths off as they kissed. She slowly began taking off his pants.

Luhan’s phone vibrated but he couldn’t hear it. You’d been calling him for a long time….

*******************************************

The sun was shining brightly. It hurt his eyes as he woke up. He was shirtless. He turned around and looked at her sleeping next to him.

Oh My God, what did I do?… I’m pretty sure nothing happened. My pants are still on. No, no , no this can’t be happening.’ – Luhan was freaking out. His thoughts were killing him. He quickly wore his shirt and left the room.

*********************************************

**Ding dong.. Dong dong.. Ding dong**

The door bell rang repeatedly.

“I’m coming,” you yelled.

“Oh hey, you didn’t tell me you were coming?” you asked as you saw Luhan standing at the door.

“Yeah, I took a day off today and so I wanted to surprise you.”

“Awww,” you smiled.

“So do you want to go to that fall festival that you’d been begging me to go with you too?” he asked pulling you out of the apartment.

“Oppa, I’m not even dressed.”

“You look fineee,” he said.

“But why are you in such a hurry.”

“I’m not. I just want to spend as much time with you as possible.”

You were confused. Why was he acting like this? He had never done anything like this before. But as long as you were getting to spend more time with him you were happy.

“Thankyou Oppa,” you said as the two of you walked back home.

“Why would you thank me for this? You don’t have to,” he said and kissed you. You kissed him back. It had been your first in a long time.

“Wow I don’t remember the last time we even kissed.”

“We did,… just now,” he said and kissed you again, holding you close to him.

You walked back home with him resting your head on his shoulder.

******************************************

Luhan made sure he wouldn’t come across Hanna at all but he failed. As he was leaving the building she caught up with him.

“Luhan wait!”

“I need to go _______ will be here any time and I need to take her somewhere,” he said in a hurry.

She pulled him back, not noticing that you had just entered the building.

“You can’t just deny what happened between us that night.”

“Nothing! Happened between us that night,” he said, grinding his teeth.

She pinned him against the wall. “Luhan how could you do this to me? You took advantage of me? I still love you no matter how hard I try I just can’t get you out of my head. You like me too. You know you do. If you didn’t you wouldn’t have kissed me back that night,” she said as tears rolled down her cheeks.

She was right. Luhan couldn’t deny it. That night he did feel something for her. He just didn’t know if it was permanent or not.

She was still holding him. She got closer. “I just can’t be like this anymore,” she whispered.

Luhan was quiet. He didn’t know what to say. She leaned in and kissed him. He slid his hands on her waist and slowly towards her neck. You took a step back and the boxes behind you collapsed. Luhan looked up. You’d been standing there the whole time. You’d seen everything. Your throat was dry. Your world had been shattered.

Luhan’s eyes widened with shock. He didn’t know what to say.

“I’m sorry,” he mouthed the words.

You wiped your tears. He came towards you but you ran out of the building. He caught up with you pulled you into an alley.

“Please, let me explain!” he begged.

“It’s over Luhan,” you said trying to loosen his grip.

“I won’t let you go. Please!” he said pinning you to the wall.

“I can’t believe you did this to me? Is this why you were being so nice to me? You’re such a player..” you yelled.

“I am so sorry,” he kept repeating. “I don’t know what got into me that night but I am sure nothing happened between me and her. I thought I’d started having feelings for her but when I saw you at the door today, crying, I knew that I loved you and not her. I’m such an idiot for making this mistake. Just.. please don’t leave me. I don’t think I can live without you,” he said in one breath.

“How do I know that you’re not lying to me?” you asked.

He didn’t know what to say.

“I trusted you Luhan. More importantly I loved you and this is what you do to me.”

“I know what I did was wrong but I want to fix that. It will never happen again. She was just so vulnerable that night and I hadn’t been very nice to her in a long time. I wanted to help her but then..”

“Then you had sex with her to make her feel better?” you finished for him.

“I didn’t!” he snapped back. “I know nothing like that happened between us. I wasn’t drunk so I know..”

“Luhan please,” you interrupted.

“Believe me,” he said. You looked into his eyes. There was something about them. You wanted to believe him but you were hurt.

“Just let me go,” you said slowly pushing him away. His grip loosened on you.

You left as Luhan stood in the dark alley. He didn’t know what to do. He questioned his actions repeatedly. He knew now that he loved you and not her but this is not how he wanted to find out. He’d lost you and he wanted to kill himself for that.

***********************************************

Luhan knocked o your front door all night but you didn’t open the door. He’d hurt you a lot but you still loved him. You just didn’t know what to do. Your heart kept telling you to give him a second chance but your brain was unsure. You sat in your room in the dark and cried all night.

The knocking stopped after a while. When you woke up the next morning your head still hurt. Your whole body was warm. You slowly got out of bed and made breakfast. Somebody knocked on the door. You checked through the peep hole. It was the lady from next door.

“Someone’s been sleeping by your door!” she said as you opened the door. You looked down. Luhan was sleeping while leaning against the wall. You wanted to cry seeing him like this. You quickly woke him up and brought him inside. The two of you sat on the couch in silence

“Why are you doing this?” you asked him after a while.

He didn’t respond. Instead he turned around and hugged you.

“Please, just give me one more chance,” he whispered.

His touch made your body tingle. It was like the first time he’d touched you.

“I want to let go off you but I can’t Luhan. I can’t just forget all the time I’ve spent with you. I’m still in love with you Luhan,” you finally said. He tightened his embrace.

“I’ve hurt you so much and I don’t deserve you but if you accept my apology I promise you it will never happen again.”

You pulled away. “Please don’t play with my heart again.” you said and wiped your tears.

“I won’t.. I promise,” he whispered.

Luhan leaned in and kissed you on the cheek and then your forehead and then finally your lips.
