You opened the last door in the hallway hoping Donghae would be in there. All the other rooms were either empty or occupied by the other members. There was no time and Donghae had to be ready before the show started.
“Oh thank goodness you’re in here,” you sighed seeing him admire himself in the mirror.
“Sure took you long enough to get here,” he frowned.
“What?” you asked, a little confused. Donghae walked up to you, closing the door behind you.
“You need to go to the makeup room. There isn’t much time left,” you pouted. He didn’t bother to reply. Instead , he pushed you against the door leaving no way for you to escape.
“What are you doing?” you asked.
“Shhhhh,” he put his finger on your lips.
“We don’t have time for this right now,” you said. He furrowed his eyebrows to show his dissent. You began to say something but he shut you up by pressing his lips against yours. You knew if you struggled to get away he would only get more upset so you let him kiss you. Besides, it had been a long time since the last time you guys kissed without any interruptions.
“Happy?” you asked him when he pulled away.
“Ye,” he smiled shyly scratching his head.
“Do you want to get ready now?” you asked. He nodded in agreement following you out of the room.
*************************************************
You had recently moved to Korea therefore you didn’t know much about how things worked around over there. The job was new for you too. Usually young girls were not hired by the company but you got lucky since they were running short of makeup artists and needed someone immediately. Donghae had fallen for you the minute you were introduced you to the members. He had made a decision in his mind there and then that he would ask you out. And then in less than three months of your job, the two of you were going out.
You poked your head from behind the stage to look at the members perform. They were doing the craziest things-wearing silly costumes, dancing and jumping around. Then for a brief second you didn’t quite understand what had happened. Donghae leaned in and kissed Eunhyuk. Fangirls began cheering when they pulled apart. You felt like your eyes were going to pop out. The next minute you felt your face burning up.
“___________, they need you downstairs,” someone said from behind you. You frowned on the inside but didn’t dare show it on your face. Your boyfriend was kissing another man and you were being called to do something else.
****************************************************
That night you lay in your bed, very confused about the whole situation. You were too mad to talk to Donghae after the show. He sensed that you seemed disturbed but he didn’t say much..
‘Maybe he is just using me to show the world that he is straight …but he actually isn’t. Wait wait.. that doesn’t make sense. He just kissed a man in front of everyone. If anything our relationship is a secret so.. that wouldn’t be right. ..hmmm maybe he wants to show the members he is straight…but then again, he just kissed another member on stage. Arghhhhh nothing makes sense…’
You pulled the sheets over your head in frustration, wanting to forget about everything.
*********************************************************
“Where is __________?” Donghae asked the lady who began doing his makeup.
“She is working with another member today,” she replied pushing him back on the chair.
“But _________ always does my makeup,” he said narrowing his eyebrows.
“Not anymore. She requested for another member today.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know! NOW settle down, “ she said sternly pushing him back once again.
********************************************************
“__________ah,” you heard him call from behind you. Instead of stopping you lunged towards the bathroom to escape him.
“_________,” Donghae cried out your name a little louder this time. He caught hold of your arm and pulled you back.
“Leave me,” you whined.
“No!” he said angrily.
“I don’t want to talk to you,” you said making a disgusted face.
“What is wrong with you?” he asked. You guys heard some people around the corner so he pushed you into the girl’s bathroom.
“Okay now tell me what’s going on?” he threw a question at you instantly.
“What’s wrong with me? What’s wrong with you?” you asked.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“If you were just going to ‘use’ me then why are you going out with me?”
“Me? Using you? What? ________ what are you talking about?”
“I saw you kiss Eunhyuk? If you’re using me as a cover then please tell me right now. I don’t want to be..”
You got interrupted by Donghae’s laughter. He held his stomach tightly, jumping a little as tears started coming out of is eyes.
“What is wrong with you?” you asked looking at him strangely.
“H..hoo..holdon!” he said. You were getting more annoyed with his actions. You were mad at him while he was laughing. It took him a long time to recover. He took a few deep breaths before finally being able to talk.
“___________ah,” he said softly placing one of his hands on your cheeks. “I can assure you that I’m not gay.”
“Liar,” you said looking away. He tilted his head to side you were looking at.
“It’s just fanservice.”
“What?” you asked with a weird expression. It brought a smile to his face. He slid his hands behind you to pull you closer to him.
“We do it for the fans. I don’t really know how to explain it…but here in ..Korea..we show this skinship because the fans like it. They demand this. It’s just a popularity stunt.”
“But why would you do such a thing? I don’t like it!” you pouted.
“Why?” he asked running his thumb softly on your lips. You looked away to show that you were still not happy.
“____________,” you know I love you right?” he asked. You shook your head childishly.
“Oh come on,” he said. He lifted his hands and forced you to look at him. You stared at each other for a good minute before a smile finally broke on your face.
“Now can I get a kiss?” he asked. He didn’t wait for an answer. He leaned in and joined his lips to yours. You hesitated a bit but then let him. He was too sweet to resist and really good at convincing people.
“I hate you, you know that right?” you said when he pulled away.
“Of course,” he chuckled kissing you once again.

‘Taken by the soft wind to your world
You asked me brightly where I came from to your side
And I told you that It was a secret
Wherever we walk together
Will be paradise’
“Oh this song is so beautiful. I love it Channie..” you had said. Chanyeol lay on his bed remembering your words from a few years back. You used to be so cheerful. He missed that. He missed that smile you had. Even though it was for someone else, he wished things hadn’t changed. He would rather see you happy with someone else than be sad and alone, closing your heart to everyone.
***************************************************
“You know I don’t like walks on the beaches. Why did you bring me here?” you asked with annoyance. Chanyeol, who was walking beside you glanced at you for a quick second. It hurt him when you talked like that. He had been patient for a really long time.
“I just wanted to spend some time with you,” he mumbled under his breath. You looked at him from the corner of your eyes. It saddened you to see his disappointed face.
“Aaaaa! I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it like that,” you comforted him. He gave you a smile but his eyes were more focused on the vast beyond. “Did you want to talk about something?”
“Not really. I thought you’d like it out here,” he replied.
“I like it better when I’m in a library reading a book,” you said with a playful smile also leaning in towards him a little.
“We can do that next time,” he winked at you. The silence redeemed. Both you and him were thinking of what to say next. He had always had the same questions. He was just hesitant to ask them. You on the other hand never had anything to say.
Chanyeol began to whistle a tone you’d heard a long time ago. It brought back some hazy memories but you lacked the struggle to remember them. He hoped you would remember and say something but he was only more disappointed.
“__________,” he called your name.
“Hmmmm…”
Chanyeol hesitated a bit before asking, “Why don’t you like the beach?” – He already knew the answer. Your head shot up in his direction as you glared at him for a good minute. Your lips quivered. You tried to calm your shaking hand with great effort. It had been 6 months since they had left. For most, it’s not a long time to recover from such a big blow but you told yourself you were stronger. You could do it. So what if they betrayed you. You still loved them…
Chanyeol stood there waiting for a response. You looked away, forcing a smile on your face.
“I don’t know. It scares me sometimes… that’s why.”
“It didn’t scare you before…”
“When?” you asked.
“When you hung out with Mikey,” he said rather quickly. You clenched your fist, biting your lip at the same time.
“Aaaiiish! he always pushed me to go with him. It’s not like I liked it,” you said after a while making sure your face held a smile. Fake or real- it didn’t matter. Chanyeol scrutinized every detail of the change in your facial expressions. He knew well that you were lying to him. His curious self wanted to tell you everything he knew but he knew it would hurt you. He could never let that happen. He began to say something; instead his lips formed a bland smile. He had done that so many times that you had started to think he knew something. Something you had been denying this whole time.
“So… what do you wanna do now?” you asked.
“It seems to be getting cold. Let’s go have dinner somewhere,” Chanyeol said rubbing his arms for warmth. You did the same secretly wishing he had his jacket with you that he could offer.
*****************************************************
You sat in your tiny balcony staring off into space. The sky was calmer than usual that day. It wasn’t even that cold. Your body had begun to crave the usual light touches of wind. A few birds flew by but other than that nothing big was happening. Your fingers automatically began typing words to your next line. You had recently developed a love for writing because in a way it helped you heal your wounds. You could let out all your emotions without anyone knowing you were actually experiencing them.
‘and in a blink of an eye he shattered her world into pieces leaving her heartbroken forever…’ – wrote.
“You left the front door open again,” Chanyeol said sliding the balcony door.
“I know!” you replied keeping your eyes fixed at the screen.
“What are you writing?” he asked.
“Nothing,” you replied briefly quickly changing the screen. Chanyeol was losing his patience with you. He tried hard not to snap.
“I got something for you,” he said.
“What is it?” you asked.
Chanyeol revealed a bag he had been hiding behind him. He sat down on the chair beside you and handed the bag to you. You put your hand inside it to get a feel of the object. It was wrapped and rather big in size. You carefully took it out and began to unwrap it. Your sixth sense was telling you it was something you had been wanting in a long time. You guessed right- it was a music box. You had wanted one ever since you visited the old haming street near Seoul.
“Oh my God Channie… how did you..Where.. oh my goodness,” your mouth spit out silly words in utter surprise.
“Play it,” he said. You looked at him and then the music box in your hand not knowing what to do. Chanyeol raised his eyebrows signaling you to play it. With a slight head nod you began to play it. The tune was familiar. A little too familiar. You closed your eyes to be able to focus better.
“Do you remember?” he asked putting his hand on top of yours. You opened your eyes and looked a him. He seemed happy to see you smile.
“Of course…,” you laughed nervously. The tunes from the song (Angel –Exo K) were brining chills through your body. Chanyeol had first made you hear it but along the song were so many other memories attached that you thought he didn’t know about.
“Thank you so much,” you said still forcing yourself to giggle to seem normal.
“Don’t thank me,” Chanyeol gave your hand a slight squeeze.
“Why shouldn’t I? You made me happy.. I should…thank..” you couldn’t even finish your sentence as tears began gushing out of your eyes. And there in that moment you knew you had to give in. The mask you had put on six months ago when they left had to be taken off. You had kept it inside you for so long that like water breaking through a reservoir all your feelings began to pour out. Repressing is never a good thing- you learnt that day.
Chanyeol on the other hand knew this was coming. He didn’t panic for one second. Instead he got up and pulled you up so he could hug you.
“Don’t cry,” he whispered.
“How can I not?” you yelled but your voice muffled through his shirt. You wanted to break away from him but he held you tightly, pressing your body against his. He wanted you to let it all out at once so you wouldn’t weep silently in the dark at night and at other times on cheerful days.
“Why did they do this to me?” you asked.
“He doesn’t deserve you ________,” he replied patting your head.
“Did she not think about my feelings for once? Why did they play with my heart like that. She knew I loved him. She was my best friend. How could she steal him from me like that? I …can’t do ..this anymore. I… she betrayed me…Channie…! I trusted her…”
The two of you stood under the darkening sky. Him comforting you while you let all your tears seep through his clothes. Your body started to numb as your energy drained out. Realizing that you were tired Chanyeol let you lose. You kept your eyes fixed on the ground. He lifted his hand to wipe the last traces of tears from your face. It was almost dry just like your eyes. You had cried for a long time.
“Let’s go inside,” he said. You didn’t answer. He took your hand and walked you to your room.
“I’m sorry you had to hear all of that,” you mumbled not making any eye contact. You were really embarrassed.
“__________,” he said your name softly. “Do you really think I didn’t know?”
“Huhh!” you gasped not understanding what he meant. He couldn’t possible know. There was no way.
“I’ve seen the way you looked at him. You loved him and that hurt me …. Because…I loved you, I still do and I always will.”
Revelations upon revelations were being revealed on you. You stood in shock as more shudders ran through your body. How could he love you? And most of all how could he know that you loved Mikey. You had loved him t such an extent that there was no returning from that state. Gina your best friend in the world, knew about and still she stole him from you. You were a fool not realize when they started to go out and then even announce their wedding. That was the day you knew you didn’t want to live anymore. Two people you loved the most had done the most horrible thing possible to you. You told yourself it should make you happy that they were happy but the fact that Gina knew you loved Mikey made you hate her. How could your own friend do that to you.
“You went on smiling to the world when they were getting married but only I knew how you felt on the inside. Every time I take his name you always act like nothing stirs up inside you but only I know how you feel. Only me ________ only me. I can’t see you suffer like this. He isn’t worth all of this.,” he stopped for a little bit. “Look at what you’ve done to yourself. I miss that heartfelt laughter and the bright smile. I know how hurt you are but…”
“You weren’t supposed to know this,” you cut him. “No one was supposed to know this.”
“_________,”
“No Chanyeol! Just go! … I’ve already spoiled things enough. I don’t want you to try fixing this. Leave before I say something and hurt you too.”
“Why are you blocking everyone from reaching your heart? Why have you locked it behind bars. Let yourself feel again.”
“6 months is not enough time for that.”
“I know it isn’t but I’m going to try making it better for you.”
“You cannot Chanyeol. You cannot. What part of this do you not understand? You are not Mikey. You are Chanyeol. I am not in love with you! I AM IN LOVE WITH HIM!,” you yelled. You had completely taken him by surprise. Even you didn’t know how it all started. When you started getting angry and now you were yelling at the guy who was only telling you how he felt about you.
He stood there waiting for you to say something but you had already said enough. There was nothing else to say. You looked away to escape his teary but questioning eyes.
****************************************************
A month had passed since the last time you saw Chanyeol. When he left that day- he had left heartbroken. Maybe even more heartbroken than you. It wasn’t just your words that had hurt him but also the fact that you were suffering alone. He was just trying to help. Even if it meant not being loved in return. He was ready to do anything for you, if you would realize that.
At first you didn’t think about it much but as more days went by you started missing him. You had gotten so used to him always being around you that you didn’t value any of his efforts. He was only trying to help. He had kept it in him for so long- longer than you had been in love with Mikey.
You would often remember all the silly things he did and it would make you sad that he stopped coming. You felt guilty. It was your fault for pushing him away. Cleaning your room one day, you found the bag he had given you the music box in. You had very carefully placed on the top of the bookshelf. You stared at it for a good minute picturing his face in your head.
“What have I done?” you said to yourself. With that, you ran out of the apartment towards a direction you should have gone a long time ago!
*************************************************
Just as you were about to knock on the door, it opened. It looked like he was going to some sort of a formal party. He looked nice…
“___________,” Chanyeol murmured your name.
“Why’d you stopped coming…” you asked. His gaze was too intense for you to return. You looked away. He didn’t say anything. Instead he pulled you into a hug. He had missed you- a lot more than you had missed him.
“I’m sorry,” you mumbled.
“Don’t be.”
“I don’t want to give you false hopes.”
“Don’t worry about it”
“But..”
“I can wait,” he said closing the argument. He nuzzled on your neck like a little puppy who had been waiting for that moment in forever. You were finally in his arms and this time with all your consent. He could never let this chance slip away. You on the other hand were still unsure but you knew you could trust him. He had never let you down before so why would he ever in the future. Chanyeol’s heart was so tender. Anyone would be lucky to be loved by him.
“Thank-you,” you said. He patted your back telling you, you didn’t have to say that.

‘She was afraid of loving and more strangely, she was afraid of being loved in return. “What’s the point?” she would say. “It’s not like it will be eternal. One day they will leave. They will find out that I am not perfect… I am far from that…” Over the years she had completely secluded herself from the society. Her heart was safely caged inside a box cushioned by smooth linen stuffing. No one was allowed to touch it. No one needed to either. Nothing mattered because she knew she didn’t deserve anything. Why was she like this? Had she always been like this? Why did it always hurt her when someone asked her if she was okay?‘
.
.
You walked down the busy street, your head slightly bowed, your eyes fixed on the ground. Whispers, cries, gossips occasionally touched your ear but you let them subside. In only a matter of few seconds you would be far from all of this. Your feet began to move faster as the corner approached. You huddled through the crowd, pushing a few, in frustration. ‘Why do they leave their houses?’ you asked yourself, shaking your head in annoyance.
There it was, right in front of you. Your safe haven, where you felt protected from the world. Only a few years back you had found that place, hidden behind the heavily laden trees. The park was less busy than usual. You swiftly tip toed to your spot, making sure to not catch anyone’s eyes. You bent down, trying to catch your breath when your vision caught something very wrong. Something or rather someone who wasn’t supposed to be there. You looked up- your eyes meeting his and for a second you felt captivated by the sadness they held. It was almost as if you could see your reflection in his personality without knowing one bit about him. Neither of you moved but stared, hoping the other would say something. No words were uttered. Your lips refused to part. Instead of getting mad at him for taking your spot, you let him stay. Why? You didn’t know. You turned around to leave when you heard him murmur. Your body was in an awkward position and so was your mind. You didn’t know if you should ask him what he had said or just quietly leave. You were still debating when you heard him again. This time he said it much louder. “You don’t have to leave.”
Very slowly you turned your head sideways hoping he would say something more. He didn’t. From the corner of your eyes you could tell that he had gone back to reading his book. He either didn’t care enough or he was too aloof to realize that he had unintentionally hurt you. You were just as stubborn and possessive about your things. Without giving the idea a second thought, you trailed to your spot that had been very lamely taken by him. There was no sign of the slightest flinch from him. Both of you of sat stiffly under the shade reading your respective books.
************************************************************
Two weeks had passed and nothing had changed. It had almost become a ritual. Every day, he would be there five minutes before your arrival time. You didn’t say anything, neither did he bother. Both of you sat quietly. He was perfectly calm and so were you. It became almost movie like. Two strangers meeting like this. Never uttering words directed to each other. Just understanding what the other never said and then never bothering to ask. There was no need. You liked it just the way it was. You had started to get attached. It felt great to see him there every day. Two months? Three and then four passed by. But nothing changed. You were still quiet and so was he.
Then one day everything changed. Like usual, you casually walked to the place your locks dancing along, hitting your face occasionally. Everything was going to be perfect, except that he wasn’t there that day. You scanned the tree up and down and all around foolishly but there was no sign of him. Blinking repeatedly you stood in silence, with your cheeks puffed up. Your heart poked fun of you. You had started doing what you hated the most- caring for others when you knew the result was always going to be bad. They would never provide you the satisfaction you needed. You wanted to show yourself that you were stronger so you sat down, breathed heavily and began reading the book. The words that your eyes were eating were far from being absorbed by your brain. Your frustration level reached its height in a mere few seconds. You slammed your book sipping in the last drop of patience and got up. You couldn’t do it. He had to be there to make it right. He wasn’t- therefore everything was wrong.
A few more days passed and there was no sign of him. You felt betrayed and broken from the inside. You tried to tell yourself that it was no big deal. You didn’t know him or anything but what about your silly heart that kept poking you? You felt miserable. You didn’t want to go back to the place anymore but that little light of hope was still there. ‘He could come…one day…’ you would keep telling yourself.
*********************************************
Two weeks later:
You sat under the shade as light air brushed your hair and kissed your bare arm. You were reading your book but you were more focused on the sounds around you. Your ears tingled at the sound of someone’s footstep. Your head shot up towards the direction of the sound you’d been craving to here. And there he was- walking towards you like nothing had happened. Like he had all the right in the world to leave when he liked and come back when he wanted. Your eyes raged with anger looking at his calm, innocent face and pure twinkling eyes. As he got closer you realized that that tinkle was because of his teary eyes. He’d been crying or rather weeping…
You looked at him with questioning eyes as you clenched your shaking hands into a fist. He sat down beside you, took out his book and began to read. You couldn’t help but look at him from the corner of your eyes. All your anger had subsided.
“What is it?” you suddenly blurted out. He didn’t look up. It was the first time he’d heard your voice. His ears turned a light pink and he tried hard to act like he was involved in his book. But he couldn’t pretend any longer. You were still looking at him with your big dough eyes demanding an answer.
“That’s none of your business,” he replied.
“I want to help,” you replied. You couldn’t stand seeing him cry like that. You knew better. You had been through days like that. “Please! I know you’re hurting right now. But I can help. Trust me!”
“No one can help me,” he replied putting his book aside. You began to say something but he continued, unexpectedly. “No one will understand what I have been through. It’s just too… much.” He turned his body to face you, looking straight into your eyes. He leaned closer to you and whispered, “It haunts me every night.”
His last statement ran shudders through your body. You wanted to know what his secret was but you couldn’t form the right words to ask. You held his hand and gave it a slight squeeze. “I may be able to help,” you said. He shook his head, shifting to the other side. His hands slid out of yours. He rested his head against the tree trunk sighing heavily. The few words that were exchanged a few minutes back were replaced by the same heavy silence that existed between the two of you.
You heart wished he would trust you more but your mind told you it wouldn’t be right. You would begin to like him and who knows what will that turn into. Then one day he will realize that nothing is perfect and he will leave and you will be alone.
You shook your head out of your atrocious thoughts and went back to pretending to read.
The days after that passed the same way. He had started coming regularly but there was some change that you sensed. The silence between the two of you wasn’t the same beautiful one. It was cutting.
********************************************
“I want to take you somewhere,” he said. You looked up in surprise, fixing your glasses. Was he really talking to you after all that had happened a few days ago. More than that, he was asking you such a thing when the two of you barely knew each other.
“Where?” you spit out while your heart kept telling you to do the opposite. Instead of answering you he grabbed your hand pulling you up.
“You won’t regret it,” he said as a smile embraced his lips. He looked happy that day. You smiled too and let him drag you.
The two of you entered the main quad in the park where all the life was. There were people everywhere. He jumped a little, waving his hands in the air as if introducing someone to you
“Look at this,” he said.
“Look at what?” you asked.
“This!,” he pointed to children playing, balloons flying, ice cream man yelling, birds chirping and the flowers dancing alone the wind’s light touch. He wanted to say more but just looking into your eyes made him stop. You were telling him you understood what he meant. It made you happy and it made him happy just a little more.
********************************************
He called himself Luhan. His name, his face, his everything made you smile. Just the thought of seeing him the next day made your heart flutter. He had started to open more. He would tell you crazy things. How to do this and that, how to play around and get yourself out of trouble. You listened to his interesting rambles with such enthusiasm that he never wanted to stop. At other times he would talk about much serious things. What his dreams were. What he wanted to do in the near future. They always saddened you because it usually involved him moving away to S. Korea.
“Why?” you would ask.
“It’s my dream to become a star,” he would reply. Your expressions would darken and he would very soothingly run his fingers across your cheek trying to calm you.
He felt extremely awkward coming to your house the first time. He would say that back home he wasn’t allowed to do such things. You would giggle at his innocence. He made you feel things you thought you were incapable of feeling.
Just like one of those days he lay down his head resting on your lap. He had his eyes closed listening to music while you read your book. Something distracted you and so you began to look at him. He seemed calm but you felt like he was trying hard to suppress something.
“Everything alright?” you asked.
“Yeah,” he replied without opening his eyes.
“Luhannnn,” you said pushing him to get up and face you. “If there’s something troubling you then why don’t you say it?”
“Nothing’s troubling me,” he replied getting ready to lie back down.
“No!” you suddenly snapped. “Just tell me okay? I am tired of you hiding everything from me.”
“When have I ever hidden anything from you?” he asked with flustered eyebrows.
“Everything,” you said pushing your hands back in slight frustration. “What do I know about you? I know nothing and I want too but you keep hiding everything from me. I want to know what upsets you? Why you cry sometimes and then wipe your tears as soon as I look at you?… I want to help you but I feel like you don’t trust me. Are we even….” You stopped halfway. You had very often wanted to ask him where your relationship stood with him or if there was even anything between you and him. He never defined it but he also didn’t know that it bothered you a lot. Luhan slid a little bit more, getting ready to leave but you held him. “You can’t just leave like this.”
“You want to know why I’m like this?” he grabbed your arms and held you tightly.
“Yes I do,” you replied even louder.
“It’s because I was sexually harassed my entire childhood,” his words echoed in the hollow air. A gasp escaped your mouth while tears began to rush out of your eyes unannounced. You were in a state of shock, not blinking one bit.
“This is why I never wanted to tell you such things. It hurts me every time I think about it and honestly.. you’re not making it any better for me,” he said pushing you back.
“Luhan,” you whispered his name as he stomped out of the room. Before you could stop him, he was gone. You ran to the door but there was no sign of him. “Luhannnn,” you called out hoping he would return. There was no response. He was gone…
************************************************
Two days later:
You felt like someone was knocking on your door. But then again you had been feeling like that for the past 48 hours. He wasn’t going to come. He had made it pretty clear by not answering your text messages or calls.
“_____________! Please open the door,” you heard his voice from the opposite side of the door. The next second you lunged towards it opening it wide. He grabbed you violently and pulled you into a hug. “I’m sorry,” you heard him say as he planted a kiss on your neck. “I over reacted. Please forgive me. None of it is your fault.”
“No I’m sorry,” you said. You felt him shake his head, also wiping his tears on your shoulder.
Things went back to normal pretty quick after that. The usual movie nights or meeting at the quad resumed. He had started to smile again. You tried your best to not perk anything that would upset him. You wanted to hold on to him tightly and never let go. He’d been through so much in life and you thought you had it hard. He was different. He was special…
Little did you know that what was yet to come was going to bring everything you wished never happened to reality.
*************************************************
“_______________ah! Open the door,” you heard him yell one night. You rubbed your eyes to look at the clock. It was almost midnight. He never came this late. In fact he tried to leave before 10.
You opened the door to let him in. He was smiling. It wasn’t the usual kind of smile. This one was different because it seemed genuine. He was truly smiling that day. Whatever he had to tell you sure was special.
“I’m going to Korea,” he said without waiting for you to calm down. “I’ve finally decided what I want to do. I want to go there. I think I can do it ___________. I think I can.” Your stared at his face in horror. The words he was uttering sounded selfish. Was he only thinking about himself and not you? Did he even care. Why was he so happy? It made you jealous. You wanted to rip that smile off of his face.
“___________,” he snapped his fingers forcing you back to reality. “You wanted me to be happy right? I think this will make me happy. I think this is what I want to do.”
“But…” you said but stopped upon feeling a heavy lump in your throat.
“But what?” he said. And then there in that moment you knew there was no stopping him. You had no right to stop him and even if you did, you just couldn’t. He was happy. How could you steal that from him?
“Nothing,” you said forcing a smile on your face. He leaned to give you a sweet kiss on your cheeks. “Thanks for staying by my side this whole time,” he said. His hands slowly slid out of yours along with which you felt your whole world sliding out. Your heart mocked you for falling in the trap you never wanted to.
“Luhan,” you called after him.
“Ye,” he turned around.
“Keep in contact,” you said smiling weakly.
“Of course,” was the last word he uttered before he left.
****************************************************
One year later:
You slowly walked down the busy street dodging anyone who came an inch of a distance close to you. You trailed through the lively part of the park and into your usual hiding, away from all the noise. You opened your book and sat down to read.
“Keep in contact,” you had said.
“Of course,” he had replied.
You heard those words echo in your mind once again. Before tears could come out of your eyes you shut them tightly. He had lied to you. He didn’t message you after the first two month. You didn’t know what had happened to him. All your research always led you to a dead end. There was no sign of him. Had he become a trainee? Was he still alive? Had he moved on?- You didn’t know anything. It had been almost a year and it was pretty clear that he had forgotten about you. Just when you had started to fall for him, he’d left you. Just when you had started to think that maybe, maybe you were wrong your whole life. Love did exist and being loved in return wasn’t that bad after all- he’d left. He had no idea what kind of damage he had done. You were there when he needed someone and now when you needed him he was so far away.
You had considered going after him many times but thinking you would only make a fool out of yourself you dropped the idea. It wasn’t worth it you would say but your heart would whisper that ‘it was.’

*Ring Ring…ring.. ring..*
You woke up in panic, trying to look for your phone in the dark. It was buried under the sheets somewhere. Your hands moved in all the directions. You finally gave up and turned on the lights. The phone stopped buzzing as soon as you picked it up. It was an unknown number. ‘Who would call at this hour…’ you thought. Just as you decided to go back to sleep the cell phone buzzed again. Hesitantly you picked it up. There was no voice from side aside from the light breathing. Your heart felt a strange tingle. You clenched your fist nervously.
“Guess who,” the voice said. Silence took over once again.
You didn’t know what else to do but smile. He’d come back…

You chugged down your third glass and then slammed it on the counter. Your vision was getting a little blurry too. Onew and Minho had been dragged into the pool of sweaty, stinking people by two girls. You rubbed your eyes, blinked, shook your head but nothing worked. The server handed you another glass. You turned around and looked at him strange. He shrugged his shoulders, moving on to the next person.
“___________ah,” you heard someone say your name. You looked in the possible direction. Key was waving at you. You obviously couldn’t see him. All you saw was a hazy image at a near distance giving you a thumbs up. You waved back reassuring him that you were fine.
Just a few seconds ago you had boasted in front of the guys that you could drink infinite amounts without getting drunk. Clearly, it wasn’t true. You were already drunk and it was just your fourth one. You had also forgotten that the server was supposed to give you a new one right after you finished the one you had in your hand.
“__________,” you heard your name being called by a familiar voice. It sounded like Minho. You turned around to look. The guy held your arms to stop you from tripping.
“I thought you didn’t like clubs,” he said.
“Well I do now,” you said smiling goofily. The guy smiled at you. You liked Minho’s smile. He had never smiled at you like that before.
“Come with me,” he said pulling you out of the crowd.
“Where are you taking me?” you asked.
“Somewhere you’ll love,” he replied not really wanting you to hear it. You didn’t care either. You let him drag you.
As soon as the two of you entered a small dark room, he closed the door behind you pinning you to the door. His lips began to grace your body with its light touches. You had no idea how tender Minho really was after showing his tough side to you almost all the time.
Little did you know that that person was not Minho…
***************************************************************
You found yourself alone in the room, wrapped in sheets the next morning. A nervous feeling took your stomach while a tinge of pain ran through your head. Memories of the night before came back in broken images. After entering the room and his first touch you couldn’t remember anything. Your hand automatically sprung for the cell phone.
“Hello oppa,” you said as soon as Minho picked up his phone.
“__________ where are you? Do you know how worried we were about you? I’ve been looking for you since last night,” he said all in one go.
“What?…,” you fell silent immediately. Why would he say something so stupid when he was with you the night before? “Stop joking around,” you chuckled nervously.
“I’m not joking. Seriously tell me where are you?” he asked, this time more sternly.
“You were with me last night. You should know.”
“Me? No I wasn’t. Onew and I saw you while you were drinking and walking towards us and the next second you were gone. Seriously! What happened?”
“Oh my goodness! Oh God!.. Oh …my..,” you began to cry.
“_________, ___________ are you okay?” Minho panicked. You hung up on him and threw your phone in the corner of the room. Burying your head in your lap you tried hard to remember what had happened the night before. Nothing came to you. You couldn’t remember the guys face because this whole time you had kept thinking it was Minho. Even if it was Minho you should have never gone in the room with him or even drag you in the first place. Looking at your bare body disgust you. Someone you had no idea about had touched you the night before. He had taken away from you your innocence and you didn’t know who he was, where he was from or what he looked like.
*************************************************************
7 months later:
You sat on the couch reading an old magazine. The wind knocking the branches against your window was annoying you but you were trying to keep your calm. You couldn’t really expect a lot of patience out of a 6 and half month pregnant woman. You sprung from the couch in anger. Not having a set plan in mind, just as you were lunging towards the window you heard a knock on your front door.
Rolling your eyes in frustration you walked to your front door. Five guys stood opposite you holding flowers in their hands with a bright smile planted on their faces. “You guys!” words came out of your mouth automatically. The last time they had come to see you was before they went overseas for promotion. Even then only everyone but Minho had showed up. They never came together. Sometimes it was Key and Jonghyun. Other times Onew and Taemin would pay a visit but never Minho. It was sort of your fault too, for pushing him away from you. After the morning you found out he wasn’t in the room the night the incident happened you had been blaming him for no apparent reason. You never said it directly but you always showed it through your actions. Minho got the hint and tried to stay away from you as much as possible. Neither of you had had such strong feelings for each other before that event but they had started to develop after. He didn’t know he would miss talking to you so much and neither did you.
“Come on we’re here to take you shopping,” Key said clapping his hands.
“Shopping? Right now? have you seen the weather outside?” you asked looking at him strangely.
“________ my love! We have a car. Now stop talking and come with us,” Key replied. Without giving you a chance to counter attack he grabbed your arm and pulled you.
“Be careful Key she’s pregnant,” Jonghyun said giving your back some support from behind.
The next second you were out of the building and into the car with five boys surrounding you. All of them pattering about which store to go to and what kind of stuff to get. You glanced over at Minho from time to time. Once or twice, you caught him staring at you but other times, he kept his eyes fixed on the scenery outside.
“Minho! You should suggest something too,” Onew said.
“You guys can decide. I’m fine with whatever,” he replied briefly. The guys didn’t take much note of him acting weird but you did. You started to wish you hadn’t pushed him away when he was trying to help. You’d hurt his feelings.
The car stopped outside a mall far away from the city. They dragged you out of the car and into the building.
“Clothes first. They are the most important,” Taemin said cutely.
“I agree,” you added.
“I’m pretty sure the food and diapers are more important,” Key replied making a sass face.
“It’s her 7th month you idiot. We have plenty of time to buy that later,” Jonghyun said hitting him on the back of his head. “Now let’s go to the clothes store. Maybe we will find a stroller or something like that here too.” You gave Key an apologetic expression and waved at him to come join you guys.
All the guys ran to different corners of the store looking for the best item. You and Minho soon realized that you were left alone. He stood beside you awkwardly staring into space. You looked up at his flat, expressionless face. For a minute all your anger came back. It subsided just as quick as it had come. It wasn’t his fault. You had told yourself that many times. It was time you finally apologized to him.
“I’m sorry,” you mumbled under your breath.
“Huh,” he huffed. “Why are you saying that?” he asked after a while.
“Because I was mad at you for no reason,” you replied.
“I must have done you wrong,” he said. His words didn’t make sense to you. You looked up at him with a questioned expression.
“What do you mean?” you asked. He turned around after a while, to face you. He held your hands and brought them closer to his face.
“Do you have any idea, how many times I have wished, since that day that I was in the room with you that night instead of that coward who used you and ran away,” Minho said. You could see his face turning red with anger. His grip on your hand began to tighten to. You were still trying to make sense of his words when he let loose and walked away. Did he like you? You thought and along with that a lot of other questions attacked your head demanding answers you didn’t have. Only Minho knew the answer to them.
“__________ how does this look?” Key asked poking his head from behind a huge rack. He held in his hands a beautiful frock loaded with glitters and flowers.
“Oppa I don’t even know if it’s a girl or a boy,” you said. “How about some neutral colors?”
“We can buy both. Boys for girls and boys and the return the ones we don’t use,” Taemin suggested.
“And waste all that money? ________ is right. Only neutral colors you guys,” Onew announced.
The guys scattered around the store once again looking for the right stuff. They came back occasionally showing you what they had brought with them. Some got selected while many were rejected. In a mere two hours you guys had bought almost half the store.
“We should go now. My back has started to hurt and my stomach has been hurting too,” you said making a face.
“Hold on let me go get the car,” Minho said.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!,” just then you screamed not being able to bear the pain in your stomach.
“Did the baby kick?” Key asked holding your arm.
“I don’t know….. it hurts,” you said in broken speech. You guys were near the door. Minho hurried to the car in a worried state. The guys held you to give you as much support as possible. Passerbys gave you a strange look as four guys tried to handle your unstable state. Clearly they had never been trained in such thing before. Neither of them knew what to do. Minho brought that car. Jonghyun and Key sat inside with you while Onew and Taemin decided to take the Taxi.
****************************************************
“We need a nurse over here,” Key yelled. Minho held your hand tightly while Jomghyun pushed your wheelchair. The entire scene looked more comical than serious. If your baby wasn’t kicking you would be laughing at the moment.
“Calm down,” you heard someone approaching you guys.
“Her baby’s kicking. Get it out of her,” Key said making a frustrated face. The nurse gave him an odd look. She took your hand from Minho’s and began to pat it. A stretcher was brought for you. Minho got pushed behind by Key and jonghyun. Both took each of your hand and walked with you inside the room.
“What month is she in?” the nurse asked.
“7th,” both guys said at once. The doctor soon entered the room pushing everybody out of the way.
“Can she push?” she asked.
“It’s her 7th month,” the nurse replied.
“What are these guys doing in here? Which one of you is the father?” the doctor asked. Both guys looked at each other, then at you and then back at each other. The doctor raised her eyebrows looking for answer. The next second both of them raised their hands.
“What are you doing?” Jonghyun asked grinding his teeth.
“You wouldn’t raise your hand. So I had too,” Key replied.
“That’s it. Both of you need to get out. We’ll have to operate,” The doctor announced.
“What operate on her?” Key’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Yes! Now leave,” The nurse began to push them.
“We need to stay by her. Can’t you see she needs us?” they said worriedly.
“She doesn’t need any of you. Now leave so can stop suffering,” the doctor said sternly. The guys looked over at you. You held your stomach, whimpering in pain. They let themselves be dragged and then kicked out of the room.
They both stuck their face to the tiny window on the door. Minho soon joined in watching all that was happening to you.
**************************************************************
You opened your eyes to an empty room and a much toned down stomach. Your head still hurt and your body felt weak. Just as you titled your head a little to the right, you saw five guys staring down at you from the half glass door. Your eyes widened in surprise as you clenched your fist in horror.
One by one they all started to come in. They perfectly aligned themselves around you each with a beautiful smile on their face.
“It’s a boyyyyyyy,” Taemin blurted out in excitement almost singing his phrase. Onew hit him on the back of his head making a nasty face.
“We were going to say it together,” he said.
“I couldn’t resist,” Taemin whined.
“He’s got your eyes,” Minho said. Your eyes met his and for the first time in months you saw him smiling.
“Yeah you should know, since you were the first one to hold him,” Key punched Minho on the arm.
“Waaaeeee,” Minho said raising his hand in reaction. Onew held both of them and pulled them apart. Your eyes went around the room searching for the baby.
“He’s in the incubator for now,” Onew said.
“What?” your heart sank. “Why?”
“Relax! They’ll take him out in few days. He’s a little weak right now,” Jonghyun calmed you. After that the guys stood around you waiting for you to say something. They all had said enough.
“Thank you so much guys. If you hadn’t supported me this baby wouldn’t have been in this world today. I would have ab…..”
“_________, _________ let’s not talk about that right now okay? It’s a happy moment. Let’s all enjoy it,” Onew said patting your head gently.
Your eyes met with of the members’ eyes thanking them for all their efforts. They were truly your friends and they had all done a lot for you. You counted yourself as the luckiest person your life. And so was your baby who would have five funny, adorable and equally silly daddys to take care of him.

Wrote this pretty quick without getting distracted much so I’m proud of myself. I hope you guys like this one. I tried to not make it super serious even though I was leaning towards that a little bit. The Minho thing- I just left it hanging since the person who requested this didn’t really ask for such details. Hopefully you guys will like this :)
You felt very stuffy as you opened you eyes. It didn’t take you long to realize that half of Sehun’s body was on top of you. You tried to get up but gave up soon because you knew Suho was on the top part of the bunk bed.
“Sehun ah,” you whispered. He shifted slightly and put his hand on your face. You pouted and moved it aside.
“Sehun ahhhh,” you whispered again, this time shaking him.
“Aaaaann,” he made a face and got even more comfy, now hugging you.
“Oh no you didn’t,” you said and pushed him off of the bed.
“Huhhhh! Woaaaaa..” Sehun blurted in utter confusion. He rubbed his eyes still half asleep.
“Shhhhhhhhhhh!!! Oppa is still sleeping!” you said pointing up.
“No I’m not!” Suho said while getting up and stretching. Your face turned red with embarrassment. This was the second time this was happening. You and Sehun loved playing silly board games till late night. Neither of you were willing to give up or lose so just like once before, you guys fell asleep in the same bed arguing about who was more right.
Suho came down from the top slowly trailing off in to the bathroom. He stopped halfway and turned around to look at the both of you. There was a mischievous smirk planted on his face.
“What?” you pouted, trying to avoid his gaze.
“Nothing,” he shook his said and grabbed his towel.
You turned around and glared at Sehun. “We have got to stop doing this.”
“Doing what?” he made a face getting up.
“What will your hyung’s think of you and me?” you asked.
“Nothing! They won’t think anything. They know we are friends. Gosh!” Sehun said playfully.
“Urgh!” you stomped your feet.
Sehun advanced towards you,“Unless of course you want to be more than that.”He finished his sentence with a sexy wink.
“Sehun ah!, Stop,” you threatened to hit him. He held your fist and pulled you closer. Just then the bathroom door opened and Suho walked out, shirtless of course.
“Oppa!” you blurted in surprise and pushed Sehun away.
“Aish! At least wear a shirt,” Sehun snickered and threw a shirt at him. “Don’t you see there is a girl in the room.”
“You slept, wrapping your arms around her last night, I don’t think this..”
“Hyungggg,” Sehun bashed Suho angrily. Suho stopped but he couldn’t refrain himself from smile. It made you feel even more awkward.
“Aaaa, I’m going to leave!” you said and ran out the door.
“__________ahhhh,” Sehun called after you but he knew it was no use. He turned around flaring at a laughing Suho. “Why don’t you just tell her you like her?” Suho asked between his fits.
“Hyunggg,” Sehun pouted. “You always have to mess everything.”
“Mess everything? Me? What are you talking about?” Suho asked innocently. Sehun turned around, making it clear that he actually was mad.
“Sehun ahh,” Suho came up behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
“I am serious. Just tell her. You guys have been friends long enough. Do you really think she will reject you?” Sehun looked up and nodded.
“She wouldn’t ever. Have you not seen the way she looks at you?”
“I’ve seen the way she looks at you,” Sehun replied raising his eyebrows.
“Aish, Pabo,” Suho hit him. “Don’t be a fool. Now the next time you see her, just tell her how you feel okay?”
Sehun nodded in agreement but deep inside he was still unsure.
***************************************************************
Sehun had thought of everything and anything that he could do to prepare himself but nothing came up. He was confused. He would tell you the littlest of the things but telling you that he liked you was really hard. He got nervous every time he thought about it.
Like all the other mornings, he woke up thinking about you. A smile spread across his face. He shook his head and got out of bed.
“Hyungggg,” he yelled, trying to find his shirt. “Did anyone make breakfast?”
Nobody responded. “Hyunnnngg,” he called again and walked out of the room. “Ahhh!” he jumped the next second and tried to cover his bare chest with his arms. You were standing right before him.
“__________ah, what are you doing here?” he asked. The muffin that you’d stuffed your mouth with started falling out as you tried hard to not laugh. It took you a while to recover.
“Sehun ah, you shouldn’t really be going around shirtless. There’s nothing to show,” you teased him. He pouted and turned around.
“Now don’t tell me you’re mad at me?” you asked.
“No I’m not,” he mumbled. “Try calling me oppa next time.”
“What?” you whispered because it didn’t make sense as to why he’d said that. He’d never mentioned that before.
As soon as Sehun entered his room, heh it himself on the head. “What the hell was I thinking? Why did I say that?”
“So, what are you doing today?” you asked following him into the room.
“We have practice till 6,” he said making a face. “The guys probably left early I guess.”
“Yeah, when I came, they were all leaving…,” you waited for him to put his shirt on so you could talk again. “Soooo! Do you want me to make you breakfast?” you asked.
“You’ll make me breakfast?” he repeated as his face lit up. You nodded your head with a faint smile.
*************************************************
Sehun looked at the omelet on the table with disgust. He hated them. In fact he couldn’t even stand the smell of an omelet.
“What’s wrong?” you asked.
“Uh nothing,” he replied and took his first bite.
“Is it good?” you asked curiously.
“Mmmmm,” he forced a smile. He cared a lot about you but you took it as nothing more than friendship. Sehun had grown tired of dropping hints but there was another guy on your mind. He had been on your mind for a long time and you were finally going to tell him how you felt on Valentine’s day. You had no idea a mere infatuation was going to turn into secret love. The only problem was that he never understood any of your signs. Your patience level had come to such a point that you didn’t even care about your self respect anymore. You were going to tell him how you felt and the rest was going to be up to him. A little part of you knew that he would never ever reject you. His heart was too kind to make a girl cry. Once you and him got into a relationship, you were going to take it upon yourself to make him fall in love with you. Little did you know that love couldn’t be forced upon someone. It came naturally…
“___________ ahh, where are you lost? And why are you smiling?” Sehun asked nudging you out of your thoughts. He had finished his omelet with great effort and was hoping for some appraisal. You however were too occupied in your thoughts to even think about it.
“So what are you doing for Valentines day?” you suddenly asked, completely taking him by surprise.
“Valentines day? ahhhh I wasn’t thinking about doing something.. but if you want to then we can just plan whatever..”
“Yeah! Let’s plan something with all the members,” you said with sheer excitement.
“All the members? Why? I was thinking it should be just you and …me,” Sehun said under his breath.
“What? You and me?,” you began to laugh. “No! lets invite all the members. It will be fun.”
“They all might be busy,” Sehun replied with a disappointed face.
“Suho oppa is never busy. We should at least invite him,” you said slowly blanking out into space once again. Sehun looked at you scanning each and every feature of your face. It wasn’t the first time he was doing that. He loved looking at your face, the cute expressions you made with complimented the twinkle in your eyes. You were lost in someone else’s thoughts while he was lost in yours.
*********************************************************************
“Sehun ahh! Stop moving around,” Suho said angrily. “I can’t sleep because of you and I have a big day tomorrow.”
“What do you have to do tomorrow?” Sehun asked back with annoyance.
“Shhhh,” Suho said shutting his eyes close once again.
“I have a big day tomorrow too,” Sehun said trying to provoke Suho. He wanted his hyung to question him so he could tell him about his plan.
“What do you have to do?” Suho asked, just as Sehun had expected.
“I’m going to tell her how I feel about her tomorrow!,” Sehun replied instantly.
“What? That’s great,” Suho replied excitedly. “I am so proud of you and I am sure she will say yes so don’t worry about it okay. Just say it out with hesitation and make sure you don’t..”
“Hyung.. hyung…I’ll be fine,” Sehun cut Suho to reassure him that he would be fine. Suho smiled looking at the ceiling. He was going to confess his love to someone too the next day. For some reason, his intuition was telling him that it was going to be a good day. Sehun on the bottom part of the bunk bed smiled too. He had finally gathered enough courage to tell you about his feelings and he felt great about it. There was no stopping him.
*******************************************************
You skipped every other step while climbing the stairs holding a beautiful rose in your hand. It was the day, it finally was the day you were going to tell him how you felt. How he made your heart flutter. How your eyes twinkled and your heart rushed thinking about him. you stopped at a distance from the door upon reaching the top. You had to rehearse your lines one more time and practice holding your rose the right way. Not too tilted to the left neither to the right. Straight in the middle so you could just push it forward. You also looked down at your dress and shoes. They were the best you had and they quiet complimented your beautiful brown locks. Taking a deep breath, you lightly knocked on the door. You knew Suho would be home. He was always home and yes he was the object of your affection. A few minutes passed away but no one opened the door. You began to get nervous thinking of the worst things possible. Then finally you decided to try the door knob. It clicked open. You stared at it in surprise for no apparent reason. In the back of your head you were still a little unsure. Nevertheless you tip toed inside the dark hallway clenching the rose in your hand.
“Suho Oppa,” you whispered rather loudly. The door of his room was slightly open letting the light dart through. Your hands began to shake. Your stomach felt numb and your lips quivered. With every step you took the moment was coming closer. You closed your eyes to think about him. An immediate smile took your face. Picturing his face was all you needed to calm your nervous state. You knew he’d be reading a book, stuffed inside his bed. Only Suho would do that on a day as beautiful as Valentines Day.
Very hesitantly you pushed the door just enough for you to be able to see inside. Your eyes ran from one corner to the other, and then there in that moment you felt the biggest blow to your heart. A girl stood tugged in Suho’s gentle arms. His lips pressed against hers as her arms slid around his neck. Your heart was racing faster than when it did thinking about him. Your fingers went numb and heavy lump formed in your throat making it hard for you to breathe. You didn’t blink for a second as your vision started to blur due to the tears forming in your eyes. Your brain began to reject every command sent by your body. Your life was shattering before your eyes and there was nothing you could do but to feel all your energy drain out.
Suho’s eyes met yours. He jumped back in surprise still holding the girl tightly in his arms.
“Give me a minute,” he whispered to her. He walked towards your statue like body. You felt him hold your arm tightly and then drag you out of the room. He was saying something along the way but you couldn’t understand anything. You heard some words but they didn’t make sense to you. The man you loved was holding you tightly telling you everything you didn’t want to hear. All you wanted him to do was to smile at you while you told him how you felt. Then hug you and pat your head telling you that he loved you too and then finish the scenario with a beautiful kiss on your lips. The reality was not even a tad bit close to that.
“_________… don’t tell… I want to…! They should find …..from me..! And Sehun…he….tell ..something.! Are .. listening..? ___________ …okay?” that is all that you heard from him out of the other thousand things he had said. You felt him pat your cheek. His grip on your arm loosened and then he was gone.
You began to walk into the dark hallway once again but this time you were walking out the front door. Your hands were still shaking and your stomach was numb. Tears were trickling down your face reflecting the torn state of your heart.
“__________ahh,” you heard your name being said from a close distance. It sounded like Sehun but you cared too little to stop. He blocked your way holding your arms. He was panicking at the sight of you weeping without making the littlest of the sound.
“Are you okay __________? What happened? Please tell me what happened? And what are you doing here? You weren’t supposed to come till I texted you. I had to get everything ready so I could give you a surprise. __________ah please don’t cry. Please..please,” he pleaded. You rest your head against his chest and slid your hands behind his back holding him tightly. And that’s when the first sound, a mixture of a sigh and a plead escaped your lips. Sehun felt a shudder run through his body hearing you cry like that. You were the most cheerful person he knew. Seeing you in a such a state was breaking him from the inside. With each cry, he felt a knife being plunged through his heart.
“__________ahh! Please don’t cry. I can’t see you like this,” he said. A tear fell from his eyes as he held your tired body in his hands. “I was going to wait and tell you this but since you are so upset right now and I have no idea what is bothering you so I am going to tell you something that I have been meaning to tell you in a long time. I know you might be a little surprised but I want to do this so you can feel better. I don’t want to see you cry ___________. ___________ I love you….,” he paused to see if you would stop crying. And stopped you did. The air had fallen silent since the strange words he had last uttered. Your tightly shut eyes opened immediately but you didn’t dare look up. Your face was still pressed against his body. “I have loved you for a long time,” he continued. “So long that I don’t even remember the first time I felt this way about you. I can’t stand you being far away from me anymore. I want you to be mine forever… Nothing in the world would mean more to me than this…” He squeezed your body emphasizing on his own words. With that, he gently pushed your body away from his so he could see your face. With his tender hands he wiped the last traces of tears on your cheeks.
You finally began to process all the things he had said to you. How ironic was it that all three of you were running after someone else. Suho was happy and so was Sehun while you couldn’t have felt lonelier at the moment.
“I don’t know why you’re crying right now and maybe I won’t ever find out. It’s up to you __________ but all I’m asking is for a chance. A chance to prove myself to you. I promise you that I won’t ever let you cry like this,” he said with pure sincerity in his eyes. He tried to show his strong side while on the inside his curious heart couldn’t stop poking him. He wanted to know why you were crying. You on the other hand couldn’t tell him the reason at any cost. Suho had trusted you with that information and besides, telling the man who loves you that you love someone else is like a punch in the gut. You wanted to tell your best friend in the entire world why you were hurt but unfortunately he was also the man who had just confessed his feelings for you. The smile on Sehun’s face was slowly fading away like the candle of hope in his heart. He had started to think he had made a mistake. You were expressionless, staring blankly into space. He would rather have you cry and let it all out then to not express yourself at all.
“___________,” he mumbled your name again. There was no response. You were still thinking about what to do. He loved you but you didn’t love him back. You couldn’t let him live in a delusion for the rest of his life. Or you could accept his proposal and make him happy because that was all he had ever wished for you. You owed him one. Also, your wounded heart needed some heeling.
Sehun fixed his eyes on the floor swinging his body from side to side to hide his nervousness. “Sehun,” you whispered meekly. Before he could raise his head, you brought your body closer to his and wrapped your arms around him. A layer of overflowing happiness ran through Sehun’s body. You could feel his soft lips peck your neck repeatedly. You closed your eyes to his passionate touch trying to suppress all the thoughts for a while. You wanted to feel needed and Sehun was providing you that in every way. The only question that scared you was that- will you ever be able to love him back?
*********************************************************
3 years later:
Just as the clock struck seven, you heard a faint knock on the door. You placed the paper that you were riding to the side. Your hands automatically reached for the rose that had been resting on the coffee table. There was another knock- this time a little louder. A smile embraced your lips seeing him stand opposite you, right on time as usual.
“Happy Valentines day,” he said going straight for your lips.
“Happy Valentines day Sehun,” you replied before joining your lips once again.
-We always look for love in the wrong places, especially when it is right there in front of us and we keep pushing it away. To love is a beautiful thing but to be loved in return is beyond compare.

I wrote the first half of this scenario last year as a requested scenario but I went so off topic that I just left it unfinished and started on the request all over again. This half done scenario had been sitting in my files forever so I finally decided to put it to good use and make it a Valentines Day special [even though I am two days late]- In my defense, I had a lot of work/ quizzes/ papers due/ job/ test = no life.
Anyways I hope you all like it :)

Your eyes were fixed on the tree outside your class window. Two squirrels had been fighting with each other for an acorn. It was so mesmerizing that you didn’t even care what the teacher was talking about.
“Okay class I am going to assign everyone a partner and then divide the whole class into three different groups. Each group is required to go to a different part of the forest and camp there. You will later be given instructions on what kind of sample you have to find.” After that she began calling out the names. She called your name twice but didn’t get a response. She finally looked up only to find you completely distracted.
You felt a shade on your face and the next minute you were startled by your teacher standing right on top of you.
“Oh my!” you jumped back in surprise.
“May I ask what is it that amuses you more than what I’m teaching in class?” she asked.
“Mianhamnida,” you said as your ears turned a hot pink.
“You will be partnered up with Zelo for this project,” she said sternly. She was hoping she would get a response from Zelo but was disappointed when she looked at him. He was fast asleep.
“What happened!” Zelo said after getting hit by a marker that your teacher threw at him. The atmosphere filled with muffled laughter.
“What is wrong with you kids these day,” you heard her yell. “You are partnered up with __________ for this project.”
Zelo looked at you and then rolled his eyes in frustration. The last thing both you and him wanted was to work with each other. There was a long history of hatred between the two of you. And so there was one thing you knew for sure and it was that, that project wasn’t going to end well.
****************************************************
“Who said you could bring that huge bag?” Zelo remarked as you approached the bus.
“Who said you could ask me a question,” you replied rudely.
“Whatever,” he said and turned around. You continued to drag your huge bag towards the bus. Everybody had already boarded the bus so there was no one who could help you pick up the heavy bag but Zelo. He turned around to look at you.
“Can you help me?” you asked.
“Aaa NO!” he smirked and got on the bus. You had already reached the limit of hating him. You couldn’t go any beyond. As you began to pick it up someone took it from your hand. You looked up and were surprised upon seeing Zelo. He came back.
******************************************************
You and Zelo were walking through the woods at a much slower pace than your group. He couldn’t leave you behind because you were partners so you were each other’s responsibility. You dragged your heavy bag up the steep hill while he stood on the top rolling his eyes.
“You had to bring that huge bag now didn’t you?” Zelo
“You know if you would just talk less and help me with this bag it would be much better.”
“It’s not my fault you brought such a huge bag. I don’t understand why you girls are so weird.”
You didn’t have anything to say but to hate him more in your heart. When you finally reached the top he took the bag from you and began to walk.
“Give me my bag.”
“If we keep going at this pace we will definitely get lost. We need to find the samples soon so we can leave tomorrow,” he said once again shutting you up.
In no time you two rejoined your group. Zelo was trying to be nice to you but you were too blind to see it. Over the years he had began to like you. The hatred between the two of you was turning into something else for him. Something much more beautiful. You on the other side hated him with a strong passion. Neither of you remembered how or when the fight had started
The group leader gave everyone instructions and then set you all to find your respective items. You and Zelo had to collect water samples from a nearby swamp. Since you two had annoyed the entire group a whole lot you guys were given the dirtiest job as a punishment. Thankfully the swamp was not as far. You began to walk without even bothering to wait for Zelo. He, however caught up to you.
“We’re partners. Stay close,” he whispered.
“I’d rather not,” you replied snatching the bottle from him and running to your destination.
“What is your problem?” he asked while you bent down to get a water sample.
“You’re a problem,” you replied. You heard him mumble something but you didn’t care enough to pay much attention to it.
“Here hold it,” you said giving him the bottle. You expected him to retaliate since your purpose was tp provoke him but instead he calmly took it from you and began to follow you. You started to think about the events of the day. It started to dawn on you that Zelo as being nicer than usual. He was never this nice. Why was he doing all of this?
The two of you stood near the clearing as you were instructed by the group. No one else had showed up yet. It was getting late and you and already started to yawn.
“I’m going to sleep.”
“You need to make your tent,” he replied.
“I know. I’ll make it,” you said casually, already taking out the required items from your big luggage. He gave you enough space to lay out everything and then began to watch you. It was sure going to be a treat to his eyes watching you make a fool out of yourself.
You looked at the folded tent nervously not knowing what to do. It looked a lot more complicated than you had thought it would be. Nevertheless you didn’t want to fail so you decided to give it a shot. Very carefully you began to unwrap the tent. You heard a chuckle so you looked up. Zelo who had been staring at you immediately looked away. He made it obvious that he was looking at you. You took a deep breath shaking the plastic material in your hands hoping it would transform itself into a tent.
“You’re hopeless,” he said advancing towards you.
“Hey hey hey what are you doing?” you asked taking a step back. He lifted his hands as if attacking you but instead pulled the tent out of your hands.
“Give it to me,” he said condescendingly.
“I didn’t ask for your help,” you scoffed.
“You should be thankful that I’m doing this for you,” he replied. Within a few minutes there was a huge tent standing upright before the two of you. He looked at you and then his finished product.
“That’s how you do it,” he mocked. He turned around to leave but you stopped him with your words.
“Who do you think you are? Do you think you’re some kind of a cool boy who everyone will fall in love with easily? Do you think that torturing me like this will make you more desirable? Well you’re wrong because you are stupid and insolent and a complete idiot. I don’t even know why I’m here with you when I can’t even stand the sight of you. If I could express in words how much I hate you I would but my feelings are beyond describable. You want to know why?” you asked. Zelo turned around, grabbed you by the waist line and pressed his lips against yours. It took you a few milliseconds to register what he was doing. That’s when you started to struggle. He didn’t let go of you. He kept his hold firm. Your tried to hit him but he grabbed your hands tightly holding them behind your back.
After a good minute Zelo finally pulled away. You lifted your hand to slap him but he caught it and then pulled you closer once again.
“You’ll never get it will you?” he said grinding his teeth.
“Do you..” you began but he shut you up with his angry words.
“Are you seriously this blind?” he shook you violently. “Do you not see that I care about you? You’re always pointing out all the wrong things about me. It’s as if you fail to see all the crazy things I do for you. I don’t know why you hate me or when this whole thing even started but you need to get your head straight. I don’t like begging people for their love okay… but..you’re just so..different. I hate that. I hate the way you make me feel. Just go away ________,” he said pushing you away.
You stood in silence not knowing what to say for sure. Zelo seemed mad. Not like the usual kind. This time was different. Almost as if he was really hurt. Your words had hurt him. In fact they had been hurting him all this while. You began to question yourself. Did you really hate him? Or was it all because you thought he hated you? Or that you wanted to run away from your true feelings for him. A rivalry between a boy and a girl always end in an unexpected affection for each other. The same had happened to the two of you. Love had struck like to the two of you like the smell of roses. It was strangely beautiful. You decided that he needed some time to think his things through before you could talk to him. You turned around to walk away.
“Who am I kidding?” Zelo said pulling your arm and then dragging your body towards his own. “I don’t want you to go away,” he said clenching your body as if he was afraid to lose you. He made you feel wanted. He showed you that he was insecure about and he showed you that he loved you. You didn’t know how much you loved him but you knew it was enough to start off that relationship.
“I’m sorry if I scared you with what I said but please don’t go. Just give me a chance ________. Even if you don’t love me just give me one chance to prove myself.”
He nuzzled on to your neck like a little puppy begging to be loved back. A smile spread on your quivering lips. You shook your head finally lifting your hands to hug him back.
“Of course,” you replied. You felt his hug tighten on you to the point that it hurt. Just a second ago the two of you were fighting and now you stood wrapped in his arms agreeing to remain by his side. Indeed, hatred is a form of love in itself.

Xiumin walked into the room with a nervous smile on his face. He still seemed a little shuffled from the news you had given him the night before. It was holiday season and your parents wanted you to come visit them with your boyfriend. Xiumin had met them once before so you didn’t think it would be a big deal.
“You look nervous,” you commented and went back to packing.
“Nervous?” he repeated in a squeaky voice. “No way!”
“Yeah you are. That voice of yours just confirmed it,” you smirked.
“Okay maybe a little!” he gave up pretty quickly.
“Why?” you asked.
“I don’t know… I’ve only met your parents once before. Don’t you think this is a little too fast? And did you even ask them if I could come. It all seems so much..I don’t want to…”
You cut him short by placing your finger on his lips. “Everything will be fine. Didn’t I tell you that they like you? Now don’t worry and help me pack.”
You heard him sigh as he grabbed your ready to go supplies from the shelf and handed them to you.
********************************************
Xiumin woke you up when the bus reached its destination. It was faster than usual. He held your hand to support your sleepy state out of the bus. Your parent’s house wasn’t far from the bus stop. Xiumin dreaded every step you guys took towards it. He tried hard not to show it but his shaking hands were making it quite obvious. You smiled at his state and squeezed on to his hand to comfort him.
“Annyeonghaseyo,” both of you greeted at the same time when the door opened. Your father bowed with a stern expression. He motioned for the two of you walk in. You took a step but Xiumin remained still.
“Oppa,” you called on him.
“Huh!.. oh ye.. mianhamnida,” he apologized.
You put your luggage in your room while your father directed Xiumin to the room next door. After he left you sneaked into his room and shut the door close. Normally he would jump up and ask you why you did that but that day he was lost in his own thoughts. It had started to irritate you but you couldn’t really blame him. You got on your knees in front of him and took his hands into yours.
“Oppa!”
He looked up at you with loving eyes. He began to say something but you cut him. “Please don’t make me regret this. I know you’re a little nervous but I promise you they will love you no matter what. You want to know why?” He lifted his head slightly as if asking you why. “Because I love you silly!” He began to blush and shyly looked away at your sudden confession.
“So promise me you won’t space out again,” You asked leaning in closer.
“Of course,” he smiled. He then leaned in and graced your lips with a soft kiss.
“______________ah,” you heard your dad call you. You and Xiumin immediately pulled apart and lunged for the door. For a second you thought you guys were in trouble. It was quite the opposite though. Your dad had put himself into trouble.
“Ye Abuji,” you said entering the small balcony.
“This grill isn’t working. It was working just fine last time though,” he explained himself. Your mother glanced at you guys from the kitchen, smiled and then returned to prepare the meet. You looked at Xiumin signaling him to offer help to your dad.
“Uh.. can I help?” he asked.
“Can you?” your dad snapped back.
“Ah ye, my dad always grills stuff and I usually help him so I’m pretty used to it,” Xiumin replied.
“This grill is different. I don’t think you’ll be able to do it,” your father said. Xiumin began to analyze the problem. Your father went on and on while he started to unscrew the top part of the grill.
“See that wouldn’t do it. You just opened the whole thing,” your daddy complained. Xiumin kept nodded his head out of respect but didn’t move his eyes from the object for one second. You saw your dad smack his forehead in frustration
“Oppa,” you whispered. Xiumin looked up at you and gave you a reassuring smile. He knew what he was doing.
“Here you go sir,” he said after a while.
“What?” your father turned around. “Did you check to see if it works?”
“Aniyo but I’ll do it right now,” he said placing the top back on and grabbing a lighter. You felt like all of you were watching the last 2 minutes of an intense soccer game. If it didn’t work you and him would be very disappointed and most of all your dad would get cocky.
“Aha!” You and Xiumin cheered. He hugged you to celebrate without realizing that your father was still there.
“Uh oh,” he gasped pulling away. “I’m sorry.” He said to your father. Both you and him froze as he gave you deathly stares. You knew he was going to say something unpleasant but instead his expressions softened. He patted Xiumin’s back and said thank you.
************************************************
After that day you rarely saw Xiumin or your father at home. They were either out playing golf or discussing serious political issues in the study room. Sometimes they even played chess. You liked the fact that they were getting along but at the same time you weren’t getting to spend any time with them. Days were passing by quickly and it was almost time for you guys to leave.
You sat on the couch staring blankly into space. Your mother came and sat beside you. She was hoping you would say something. Little did she know that you had no idea she even entered the living room.
“_______ ah is something bothering you?” she asked putting her hand on your shoulder.
“Aniya, I’m fine,” you said recovering from your startled state.
“Don’t lie to me,” she said with a comforting smile. You lay your head on her lap and closed your eyes.
“Umma.. don’t get me wrong. I really love that appa and Xiumin are getting along but I am not getting to spend any time with either of them. Xiumin rarely ever gets any days off and I barely ever see Appa since I live so far away. I love both of them so much but … uh I don’t make any sense,” you said giving up.
Your mother chuckled at your disturbed state. She planted a kiss on your temple but didn’t say anything. She didn’t have too. Just then you heard your father’s voice.
“__________ ah I have something planned for all of us today,” he said cheerfully. You immediately got up. He came and sat beside you.
“I am so sorry. I didn’t even think about this.”
“Aniya appa, it’s okay. I was just..saying..”
“Technically it’s your fault,” he said.
“What?”
“Ye! You’ve chosen such an intellectual boy for yourself that I love hanging out with him.”
“Apppaaaaa,” you whined while Xiumin blushed at the comment. Your dad chuckled and then pulled you up.
“Now I know you guys have to leave early tomorrow morning but we can still do something. The night’s still young,” he said. The air filled with laughter at your father’s failed attempt at sounding young.
Together all of you went to out for dinner and then had some nice coffee to finish the night. Xiumin was happy and so were you. You were glad you had chosen him and also that your parents approved your relationship. As long as everybody was together nothing could go wrong.

I wasn’t planning on writing but I pushed myself and so this scenario.. basically just..happened. I make no sense at the moment and I apologize to the anon who requested this. My brain is still fried and my emotional state is still shuffled. I have to finish my pending list ASAP so I pretty much forced myself to write this one. Maybe in the future if I come up with a better idea I’ll add it to this scenario.

A smile embraced your lips as the familiar fragrance touched your nose. Minseok walked passed you once again while walking back to his cubicle. You breathed a heavy sigh clenching your fist tightly. It was high time you apologized to him about the little episode you had created a few days ago. After months of praying and hoping, you had finally gotten a chance to talk to him informally and then you ruined it by getting him in trouble.
His twinkling eyes and gummy smile had shot an arrow through your heart on the first day of work. There was only one problem though- he rarely ever smiled after that day. Something changed in his life and every day after that you wished it hadn’t. He never smiled again. You made every effort to talk to him but it was almost impossible since you had to report to him directly. Every time he called you in for something important, all you did was stare at him while he rambled on about all the assignments you had to finish. The annoying voice in your heart kept bugging you till you finally gave up and walked to his cubicle.
“I didn’t ask for you,” he said without taking his eyes off the screen.
“I know,” you said instantly. “Opps!” you bit your tongue. “I mean, I know you didn’t. But I need to apologize for last week.”
“There’s no need for that,” he replied sternly.
“No, I .. just want you to know.. that it wasn’t intentional. I really did save the file you sent me but .. then I ..didn’t know..” you stopped realizing that he wasn’t paying attention to a single word you were saying. He was busy typing a report on his computer. You sighed hoping he would notice your presence but all to no avail. With a heavy heart you walked back to your desk. You were a very emotional person so seeing him behave harshly with you was breaking you from the inside. Had you not cared about him that much everything would have been fine but too bad, your heart was madly in love with him.
********************************************************
That night you decided to go to a club and drink to the point, your pain would go away. Deep down you knew it was impossible but desperate times called for desperate measures. And so you entered the club with a fake smile on your lips. You lunged for the bar, making yourself comfortable on the corner seat.
“One maderia please,” you ordered. After having your third one you rested your head against the counter. You thought you saw a familiar image but your eyes were too blurry to be sure. You closed your eyes and then opened them again still resting your head against the hard surface. It was Minseok, sitting three seats down just a little less drunk than you yourself were.
“Minseok sii,” you said his name under your breath. You began to walk towards him hesitantly. Love is a strange thing. It makes you do things you would never want to do. Not caring about your self-respect you tried to make an effort once again.
“Minseok sii,” you said his name again putting your hand on his shoulder. He looked up at you. Wrinkles formed on his forehead immediately.
“Call me Xiumin,” he said fixing his eyes on his glass again.
“Ah.. Mianhamnida Xiumin sii,” you corrected yourself. You took a deep breath and began once again. “Why can’t we be friends?”
“We are colleagues,” he replied firmly.
“But I want to be more than that,” you said sitting beside him. You were more drunk then you had thought you were therefore you had no idea what you were talking about. Xiumin ordered another drink still ignoring you.
“You don’t always have to be sad. Do you even know how beautiful your smile is?” you said. He turned to look at you after hearing your comment but he didn’t say anything. “The first time I saw you, I felt something in here,” you said pointing to your heart. “I don’t know what it is. But when you ignore me it hurts. I don’t know what’s bothering you but all I wish is for your pain to go away. I want you to be happy so I can be happy. I want to see that smile again. The smile that I saw 6 months ago… It was so beautiful that my ..” you stopped as a tear fell out of your eyes. You didn’t wipe it. More began to come out. Xiumin looked at you and wiped your tears. Your words had touched his heart. But he was a lot more hurt then you could imagine. He had lost the person he loved and there was no fixing it. He had had his 6th drink by the time you finished talking.
You looked at his hazy image. He was advancing towards you. Your heart began racing and then next minute his lips were pressed against yours. It felt more right than wrong. In fact it didn’t feel wrong at all. Everything was perfect about it even when you were far from in your right mind at the moment.
Time passed by quickly. You didn’t know when you and him got into a room. You didn’t care enough either as long as Xiumin was by your side embracing your body with his soft lips. The sound of music touched your ears making you more intoxicated. And there in that night your weak heart slipped- offering you completely to a man you loved a lot.
*********************************************************
When you woke up the next morning Xiumin wasn’t there but he had left his jacket on top of you. That was enough for you to think that he cared and the night before wasn’t a complete waste. A little part of you was regretting it but more than that you were happy that he was yours now.
You glanced at him from time to time at work that day but never got one back. You began to get nervous. He hadn’t looked at you all day. It was almost midday. People had started to leave for lunch. You got up too. Somebody put their hand on your shoulder to stop you.
“Want to have lunch together?” he asked. You didn’t even have to turn around to answer him. Your head shook in agreement unconsciously.
*********************************************************
Your hands shook nervously as you sipped your coffee. You didn’t want to look into his eyes while all he did was to look at you. He was thinking of the right words to utter.
“_________,” he said placing his hand on top of yours. “I am really sorry about last night.”
“Waaa..” you looked up in surprise. He failed to read the expression on your face and continued. “I don’t know what happened to me. I guess I was just..I was just.. just forgive me for that. I really hope we can be friends. I am not mad at you anymore so please stop apologizing.”
You looked at him disbelievingly. You had thought he had accepted you but it was quite the opposite. He was apologizing to you thinking he had made a mistake. It was nothing more than a mistake to him. You fought back your tears. He squeezed your hands tightly looking for an answer.
“_________ can we be friends?” he asked again.
“Huh!..ah ye,” you nodded still shaken by his confession.
“Come on lets go back then,” he said. He grabbed your hand dragging your shuffled state out of the restaurant.
*******************************************************
Xiumin made all the effort to make you happy after that day. He took you to movies, couple special nights, expensive dinners and soccer games but he only problem was that he wasn’t doing that out of love. He was only doing it because he felt bad.
You wanted him to love you just the way you loved him but that was next to impossible. You wanted to ask him why but you were too hesitant. He was always so serious it intimidated you. Even when he was by your side you felt like he was somewhere far away. The irony of the situation was that both of you were broken hearted but both of you were trying your best to make each other happy.
“I am so glad you came tonight,” you said to him while washing the dishes. Everybody had left but Xiumin had agreed to stay behind and help you clean.
“You really don’t have to help with this,” you said.
“I know I don’t have to. I want to,” he said taking drying the plate with a piece of cloth. You smiled watching him clean them so diligently. Your hair was falling on your face. You used your foam laden hand to push them back without realizing that half of it was on your face. Xiumin looked up at you. He began to laugh hysterically at how comical you looked.
“What?” you asked half smiling half confused.
“Your face.” He pulled you closer to wipe the foam off of you. You pulled away feeling uncomfortable with the tingles his touch sent through your body.
“Ah.. I should leave,” he said. You nodded back in agreement.
*********************************************************
You sat curled up in the corner of your dark room crying your wits out. You had been two weeks past your cycle so you decided to do a pregnancy test. It came out to be positive. You were pregnant with his child. Your head hurt from crying so long. There was no way you could tell him. He would want you to abort the child. Or he would agree to take care of it but you didn’t want that until he did he willingly. After a lot of thinking you finally came to a decision. Up till now you had always thought immaturely but for the first time in your life you made a mature decision- to sacrifice your happiness for his.
**********************************************************
Five months later:
Walking was harder for you in your 6th month compared to any other pregnant woman. You never really paid attention to your health since you were too busy with your new job. It didn’t pay enough but you had to do all you could to save up enough for your child. It was hard in the beginning but you had convinced yourself that life is not always fair.
You stood in line at a small grocery store waiting for your turn. It was hot and your back had started to hurt.
“Excuse me ma’am could you let me cut I have somewhere important to be,” the man from behind you said.
“I’m sorry but my back hurts. I have to get back home as soon as possible,” you replied. He leaned a little forward and soon realized that you had a baby bump.
“Oh I’m sorry. I didn’t know you were pregnant,” he said.
“Oh no! It’s alright,” you said turning around. Your jaw dropped seeing Xiumin standing right before your eyes. “Oh my!” you gasped taking a step back. He wouldn’t have been as surprised but seeing your worried face he sensed that something was suspicious.
“__________ I looked all over for you,” were the only words that could come out of his mouth at the moment. You pushed him aside and began to walk. “__________ are you hiding something from me?” he asked running after you.
“No!” you said. You waved for the taxi to stop. He got in right after you.
“Xiumin sii please leave,” you said keeping your calm.
“No I won’t,” he said holding firm.
***********************************************************
“_____________ I need answers,” he said while you unlocked your apartment door.
“Please leave,” you insisted once again.
“I won’t until you tell me,” he said suddenly pulling you and then holding you tightly. Your eyes started to blur from weakness and you fell into his arms.
When you woke up Xiumin was still sitting beside you. He had been watching over you the whole time. You looked away so you wouldn’t have to face his intense gaze. Neither of you said anything. The room was as silent as a graveyard.
“It’s my baby isn’t it,” he mumbled. You closed your eyes hoping he would take back the words he had said.
“Don’t worry about it,” you said getting out of bed. “I’m fine now so you can go.”
“You can’t just push me out. And why do you sound like it’s all my fault? In case you forgot you were the one who disappeared without giving any explanations. Had I not found you today I would have never known that you were carrying a part of me. How dare you _________? How dare..”
“I did it all for you!!” you yelled releasing your hand from his grip.
“What do you mean you did it for me? You ran away from me. Do you not understand that I care about you?”
“You don’t care about me. That’s the problem.”
“Who said I don’t?” he asked. “Who said I don’t care? __________ somewhere between those movie nights and those dinners and those.. after dinner walks I fell for you. I don’t know when for sure but I did.” He squeezed your hand. “You shouldn’t have left. You shouldn’t have.”
“I didn’t want to burden you,” you mumbled feeling tired once again.
“You would never be a burden on me. You made me smile again. How can I forget that?” he said. You remembered the night you last saw him. You remembered how hard he had laughed at your silliness. You were so preoccupied in your own feelings that you ignored his. You ignored all the signs.
“Look at yourself. You can’t even take care of yourself.” He pulled you into a hug and rubbed your back to comfort you. “___________ I want to be here with you. I wasn’t there for the first 6 months but now that I know I don’t ever want to leave you like this. Please don’t push me away,” he said.
You didn’t have any words to offer except your tears which slowly seeped through his shirt. He could feel them and it hurt him to see you like that. He knew it was his fault for never making you feel special. Both of you blamed yourself because neither of you wanted to hurt each other. If that wasn’t love than what was it?

A little similar to the last one but I couldn’t do much about that since this is what the anons requested. I personally really like this one because I reflected a little part of my personality in this scenario. I hope you guys like it. I know Xiumin isn’t a lot of people’s bias but look past that and enjoy the story :)

There was no point in looking at the clock again. You had done it enough times in the past 2 hours that now you could tell the time just by each tick. He’d said he was going to be there but your hope was fading away. You wanted to trust him, you really did but with all the recent happenings you didn’t know where your relationship with him stood. If he cared then why didn’t he show it? If he loved you then why didn’t he say it? You were equally guilty for never confronting him. There use to be times when you could say anything and everything to him. It hurt you that all of that was changing. What was more scary was that both of you knew everything was falling apart.
It all started the night he knocked on your apartment door half drunk. You didn’t ask questions. He didn’t bother explaining himself. Not the next day not even the day after. The silences grew but neither of you tried to mend the broken bond. Sometimes you just wanted to blurt it all out. Tell him how you really felt. Tell him how much he was hurting you. But on the other hand, you were scared he was going to run away and never look back. You loved him but the question was- Did he love you back?
There was a light tap on the door, not a knock but just a light tap announcing his arrival. You put on your fake smile, wiped the twinkling teas from your eyes and walked to the door.
“Hey,” he said upon seeing your face.
“Hi,” you replied swinging the door back and forth lightly.
“Are you ready?” he asked. A faint smile was plastered on his face.
“Ye.” You nodded.
“Let’s go,” he said already turning around. He was halfway to the stairs when he noticed that you hadn’t moved an inch. He turned around finding you looking into blank space, your hand hanging low and your eyes twinkling once again.
“__________ let’s go,” he said- this time with more emphasis.
“Ah ye,” you mumbled back loud enough for him to hear.
***********************************************************
“There’s a tornado warning for tonight,” he said taking a bite of his meal. You took a sigh of relief that he had made the first move to talk.
“Jinja!” you exclaimed under your breath. You might as well have not said it since your voice muffled into the noise of the other happy couples at the restaurant. Some were giggling while others blabbered. He looked up at you for a good minute scrutinizing your every move. How you gathered the food on your plate into one corner and then cut it into small pieces. How you stuck your fork into it and quickly put it in your mouth, munching on it with your mouth closed. Your eyes hadn’t left the plate since the minute, the food had been served. Before that, they had wandered to every corner of the restaurant except to the direction of his face. He wanted to ask you why you were acting like that. Why you had been acting like that for so long? He had started to wonder that you just didn’t care anymore and maybe deep down he didn’t either. It wasn’t the same like the first time he had met you. It was outside a small coffee shop on a rainy day. He didn’t have an umbrella and you very graciously offered yours. He rejected politely the first time but as the weather got worse and the clocked ticked faster than usual, he accepted it.
“Where do you have to go?” you asked him.
“Noraebang studios.. it’s aaa two blocks away,” he had replied.
“Oh that’s on my way,” you had said.
The next time you saw him was during lunch hours. He always sat at a corner table with a couple of friends cracking jokes, eating lunch and being silly. You were scared out of your wits the first time he caught you looking at him. After that it became quite normal. Both of you were quite surprised that you had been having lunch at the same place, same time for over 6 months and just then seeing each other.
The silence, awkward eye contacts finally came to an end when he walked up to your table and spontaneously asked you to dinner one night. “I’d love to,” you had replied trying your best to cover your bright red ears. And that was start of a beautiful new relationship. He introduced each other to your friends. Started going out every night. He used to come over, you used to stay at his place for the nights. Walks on the beaches, laying on the grass watching the stars, eating ice cream during snow and singing karaoke. In one of those moments you had fallen for him and he, for you.
And now seeing all that you two had built, falling apart had broken you from the inside. He felt the same way but just never had the right words to say. You had started to think he wouldn’t understand your worries. He had started to believe you had stopped loving him.
**********************************************************
The walk back home was more disturbing than the one to the restaurant. He tried to make small talk but you just didn’t have to heart to talk. He used to hold your hand and pull you into his arms while walking back but he was too hesitant to do that anymore.
“Are you going to go,” you asked entering the apartment.
“Ye.. I have work,” he replied picking up his bag. You heard his footsteps faint into the corridor but suddenly they stopped. It was as if he was waiting for you to say something. There in that moment you knew you had to tell him. You had to tell him that you couldn’t do it anymore. You heard him say your name as you ran into his arms and hugged him tightly. Tears gushed out of your eyes uninvited. He patted your head embracing you tightly.
“I can’t do this anymore…” you said without any hesitance.
“What,” he gasped- his grip loosening on you at the same time. You pulled back and looked straight into his eyes. It was the first time in almost 2 months. For a second you wanted to take back what you had said. Just looking into his eyes made you realize what a grave mistake you had made. He was looking at you the same way. Thinking what you were thinking. His lips parted giving your heart a slight boost that he was going to reject your proposal.
He didn’t..
How could he say something when he knew he didn’t mean it? It was true, he needed a break just like you did. He respected you. He couldn’t lie to you and so without saying a word, he slipped his hand out of yours. Your lips quivered and your hands shook .Your clenched your fist tightly to control your emotions, seeing him walk out of your life. Your eyes shut automatically as your ears heard the first sound of thunder. The weather outside was quiet like the condition of your heart at that time.
***************************************************
2 years later in New York:
You stood under the shed of a small shop which was just big enough to keep you dry from the heavy rain. You had mentally cursed yourself a few hundred times for being cheap and not buying an umbrella. Life in New York wasn’t easy. You had to work three different jobs just to manage yourself. Nevertheless you liked it. You liked the fact that no one knew you there. No one questioned your past or asked you about your future plans. What would you tell them anyways when you yourself were unsure of everything.
“Do you want an umbrella?” someone asked.
“No ..thanky..” your words fell apart when you realized that the voice was very familiar to your ears. It was the same voice you had been longing to hear. You looked up and there he was standing right before you with the same faint smile on his lips. You felt a heavy lump in your throat. Your energy began to drain away. He took a step towards you but some workers from the store began to unload. Unload in heavy rain. Who does that? You shook your head, trying to forget that you had seen his face. You turned around and began to walk in the rain wiping the tears out of your eyes.
Then suddenly, two hands grabbed you and the next second you were dragged into an isolated corner of the street. He cupped your face in his hands, pushing your wet hair aside.
“Don’t run away..” he said. That’s all he needed to say for you to stay. Nothing more nothing less. He didn’t have to tell you that he had spent two years looking for you or that he was stupid for walking away that night. You understood it all, just like you understood everything he never said when the two of you were in love. Both of you were stupid for letting go off each other and you had realized it. Letting go wasn’t the solution. Staying together and talking about it was. 2 years of your life and his, had been wasted. But now that the two you were together again, you could finally make up for it. He kissed you repeatedly as if his lips had been longing to touch yours. The moment was so beautiful in its self that your stomach felt the butterflies just like the first time when he had kissed you. Nothing else mattered. Neither the rain nor the whispers of passersby’s. As long as he was with you everything was going to be fine.

Sehun:
“Do the members get jealous?” you asked Sehun running your hand softly down his chest to his stomach.
“Jealous of what?” he asked. He had his arm on his forehead and his eyes were closed. He was always like that when he was thinking. You tried to pull away thinking you were disturbing him but he pulled your right back.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“I asked you something and you never replied,” you mumbled.
“Oh I’m sorry. I was just ..”
“Thinking?”
“Ah ye,” he said pulling you even closer. “I’m sorry… and no the members are not jealous.”
“But do they think that it’s awkward that you have a girlfriend and they don’t”
“They did tease me about it at first but then I realized that I should be the one teasing them so ..”
The corner of your tightly closed lips curved in to form a beautiful smile. Sehun returned it sweetly and gave you a kiss on your forehead and then on your lips.
“Stop worrying about it okay,” he said between the kisses. He slid on top of you and began to kiss you down your neck and your shoulder.
“Someone will walk in on us,” you said trying to push him off lightly.
“Don’t worry,” he replied not parting his lips from your body for even a second.
“SEHUN AHH where’s my…!!” Kai said walking in on both of you. He trailed off, his jaw dropped halfway. Instead of apologizing he just stood there glaring at the two of you. He rolled his eyes at you and then continued to ask, “Where’s my ipod?”
“Uhhh excuse me!”Sehun said angrily. You pushed Sehun away and hid your burning red face into the sheets.
“You guys should lock the door while doing such things,” Kai made a nasty comment not realizing that it was only getting Sehun more mad. You couldn’t bear the embarrassment and began to cry. The sound of your sniffles infuriated him more. He got out of bed and lunged towards Kai.
“Stop it! you know she is sensitive about such things,” Sehun said grinding his teeth.
“Fine! Just give me my ipod,” Kai said with a flat expression.
“I don’t have it now LEAVE!” Sehun said pushing Kai out the door and shutting it on his face.
“Sorry about that,” Sehun said sliding back into bed.
“You shouldn’t have yelled at him,” your voice muffled into the sheets.
“I know. I’ll just talk to him later. Now come here,” Sehun said and pulled your around and closer to him. He patted your back to comfort you. You looked up to give him a fake smile so he wouldn’t worry too much. He knew how you felt but still he smiled back reassuringly.

Kai:
You Kai and Chanyeol walked into the club casually, trying your best to look older than you were.
“They’re going to catch us,” you whispered into Kai’s ear.
“They won’t. Trust me on this,” he said smiling back at you. You hated it when he did that because it made you fall in love with him even more. You guys always flirted and were almost official but there was one little problem- you guys WEREN’T official.
“Oh look __________, there’s Woohyun your boyfriend,” Chanyeol said as soon as you guys stepped inside the club. You looked to where he was pointing and sure enough Woohyun was standing in a corner flirting with someone.
“Stop it Chanyeol! He is not my boyfriend,” you pouted. You saw Kai turn around to look at you. He seemed a little disappointed just like all the other times when Chanyeol mentioned Woohyun’s name. He went to the same school as you and everybody always talked about the two of you being the most good looking couple. You hated that because somehow Chanyeol had found out and he always teased you about it.
“Hey _______. So I see you sneaked in to,” Woohyun said approaching you.
“Shhhh! Don’t say it that loud,” you said glaring at him. Kai shot him a look and decided to leave.
“Chanyeol stop Kai,” you said. Chanyeol shrugged like it wasn’t his responsibility.
“You’re so annoying!” you blurted and ran after Kai. He was almost at the door when you stopped him. “Don’t leave,” you said holding on to his hand.
“Forget it _______,” he said pulling his hand out of your loose grip.
“No please,” you said as tears started to form in the corner of your eyes. You didn’t want to lose him. “You know none of its true. I like you Kai don’t you get it.” Kai turned around upon hearing your sniffle.
“Oh my! Why are you crying?” he embraced you into a hug. “I like you too ________ but I was afraid you didn’t feel the same way.”
“I do stupid. I do!” you said childishly. You heard Kai chuckle.
“Is he still here?” Chanyeol asked approaching the two of you.
“I don’t want to talk to you Chanyeol,” you said harshly.
“What? What did I do? And where is Woohyun?” he teased you scratching his head.
“Hyung stop!” Kai said sternly.
“Why?” Chanyeol asked obviously not knowing what had happened.
“Seriously.. stop! I’ll tell you when we get home.” This time Kai sounded more mad. He was going to blow any second had you not stopped him.
“Don’t,” you whispered to him. The last thing you wanted was for them to fight.
“Okay!,” Chanyeol said lifting his hands in the air casually and walked away letting you guys spend some time alone.

D.O
You closed your eyes tightly and clenched your fist hoping you would get a good response this time. There was no response. You opened your eyes to a flat faced Suho. He had no expressions. All he did was stare at you. “Is it that bad?” you asked.
“It’s not badddd… it’s just..ahhh how do I say it,” Suho was trying to form the right words so it wouldn’t sound rude.
“Is _________ making you try one of her dishes again?” Baekhyun commented coming out of the room.
“Ah yeah,” Suho replied. “It’s actually not that bad this time.”
Baekhyun rolled into a fit of laughter. You looked at him strange trying to figure out what was so amusing to him. “Do you remember the rice she made with our bibimbap last time? I almost threw up.”
“Oppa!!,” you whined. “It wasn’t that bad.”
“It was _________. It was,” he said shaking his head.
“Baekhyun!” Suho said with a slight hint of anger. “At least come and try it.” You pulled a smile on your face too, to cover up what you were feeling on the inside. Baekhyun always made fun of your cooking but sometimes he did go overboard. It was a little hard being Kyungsoo’s girlfriend when he was such an amazing cook while you could barely cook rice. Baekhyun came forward and hesitantly took a bite of your dish. You were hoping his reaction would be different this time but no. It was the same as usual. He scrunched his nose and spit it right out on an empty plate.
“Try again next time,” he said apologetically and patted your shoulder.
“Ah ye!,” you sighed and with a heavy heart walked back to D.O’s room. He was out with Kai for a while so you had the room to yourself. You buried your face into your hands and began to cry. You tried so hard each time but failed miserably.
“__________ are you alright?” you heard Kyungsoo say. You quickly wiped your tears and looked up.
“Oh yeah I’m fine,” you said and forced a smile.
“Umm I am pretty sure you were crying because you just wiped your tears in front of me and now you’re giving me a fake smile,” he said walking towards you.
“No seriously I’m fine,” you said.
“Did hyung like your dish?” he asked.
“Ye,” you said in a barely audible voice.
“But why are you crying though?” he asked still confused.
“Baekhyun oppa didn’t like it. He said that it was bad… just like all the other times,” you hugged him tightly and began to cry once again. “I’m sorry I can’t be a good cook.”
“_________, ________ you don’t have to be sorry about that. Please! And hold on a sec. I’m going to go talk to Baekhyun hyung,” he said getting up.
“No!.. please don’t,” you held his hand and tried to pull him back.
“He always does this to you and I need to stop him.”
“No, I don’t want him to think I complained about you,” you said. Kyungsoo sat beside you. He ran his hands over your back softly.
“Why are you so nice?” he asked. You looked away shyly at his comment. “And you are a wonderful cook. … Now come on let’s try your food.”
“Aniyaaa! It’s really bad,” you warned him. Kyungsoo got up and left without giving you anytime to stop him. He finally came back ten minutes later with your dish in his hand. He sat down next to you and took a bite. “Yummm, its really good,” he said opening his eyes wide in surprise.
“Don’t lie,” you said pushing him slightly.
“I’m not lying. It’s really good,” he said taking another bite. You knew he was lying just to make you happy. It was these things that made you fall in love with him more. Just then Baekhyun walked into the room holding the sandwich you had made. He took a bite of it and gave you a thumbs up.
“It’s really good. I was just kidding a while ago,” he said. You looked at Kyungsoo questioning him with your eyes. He shrugged his shoulders and then looked back at Baekhyun. You caught him giving sneakily winking at him. You knew Kyungsoo had done something while he was gone. You gave him a quick peck on the cheek to which Baekhyun cringed his nose and quickly left.

Suho
You were walking to Suho’s room when some unpleasant words caught your ears. Sehun and Kai were talking about you and Suho but then they said another name that you didn’t particularly like hearing.
“Suho hyung and Sora were such a perfect couple. I don’t know what happened to them?” Sehun sighed.
“_______ and Suho are nice together too,” Kai `replied.
“Yeah I know but Sora and him had been together for so long. It’s just strange seeing ________ with him.”
You were already having a hard time to make the other members like you but now that Sehun had brought it up so bluntly you couldn’t take it anymore. They all acted so nicely in front of you but this is what they thought behind your back. All the pressure made you break down. You began to cry burying your face into your hands.
“_________ ah.. what are you.. oh my my why are you crying?” Suho asked walking towards you.
“Nothing,” you said wiping your tears. You walked passed him and into his room. Suho began to follow you but then his ears fell on the conversation Kai and Sehun were having.
“I want to accept her but my heart still thinks that Suho hyung should be with Sora. He should just forgive her,” Sehun said to Kai. Kai nodded in response. This infuriated Suho which rarely ever happened. He slammed the door open and walked in. Sehun and Kai stood up- their hearts beating faster than ever.
“Do you guys have any idea what you did?” Suho yelled angrily.
“What?” Sehun mouthed the words clenching his fist close to his heart.
“___________ heard what you guys were talking about. How many times do I have to tell you guys that she is my girl friend now? I love her not Sora. Sora was in my life but she clearly isn’t anymore.”
“Hyung I didn’t mean too..”
“You made __________ cry. That’s all I know right now and you have to find a way to fix it.” Suho cut Sehun without bothering to listen to his explanation. He left them room shutting the door even more angrily then he had opened it.
“___________ ah, don’t cry. The boys didn’t mean to say that,” Suho said trying to comfort you. He came and sat beside you pulling you into his arms.
“Do you love me?” you asked him in between your sniffles. “I am not as good as her?”
“Please don’t say that,” he said lifting your chin. He wiped your tears and then kissed you. “_______ I love you. Do you hear me? I love you and not her. She wasn’t worth my love. You’re the only one I love.”
That was the first time he had said all those things to you. The melted like honey in your ears. You tugged on to his shirt which earned you another sweet kiss from him on your temple.

Baekhyun:
“Why aren’t you ready?” Chanyeol asked as you entered Exo’s dorm.
“Huh? I am ready!” you replied touching your face.
“It would be nice if you put on some makeup sometimes you know.”
“What?” you pouted.
“Yeah! Baekhyun puts more effort getting ready than you do ___________. People are going to start calling him prettier than you,” he added.
“Well at least Baakhyun isn’t as shallow as you,” you said pushing him aside. You walked into Baekhyn’s room and sure enough he stood in front of the mirror making his hair. He looked dashing as usual while you looked average. Chanyeol had nagged you about the same thing a bunch of times before too. Now that you thought about it Baekhyun had once slightly hinted it to you too.
“Do I really look that plain?” you asked Baekhyun in a meek voice. Baekhyun turned around to look at you.
“Oh no! you look fine,” he said and went back to fixing his hair.
“You don’t mean it,” you said in a crying voice. You hadn’t had a good day so everything added up to it otherwise you would have never cried over something as silly as that.
“_________ are you okay?” Baekhyun asked as his heart sank hearing your voice.
“Yeah I’m fine,” you said shaking your head. Baekhyun walked up to you and put his hands on your shoulder.
“Why does Channie oppa keep telling me that I should put on more makeup? Am I not pretty?” you asked him.
“You are pretty,” he said with a warm smile. Then his expression changed completely and he began to walk out the door. You wanted to stop him but you had wipe your face so you let him go.
Suddenly you heard him yell at someone. You knew it had to be Chanyeol. Who else would Baekhyun get mad at, at that time. You wanted to stop him but their argument was more comical than actual fighting. Chanyeol knew how to handle such situations. You didn’t have to save him from Baekhyun’s rage that day.

Chanyeol:
You were still debating if you should search for that fanfic again or not. A few days back you had come across something really interesting. From what you had read you understood that fanfics were stories that fangirls wrote about the Exo members being gay. You didn’t want to read it but it just caught on. After finishing it you promised yourself to never read anything like that ever again. But that day your hands were itching to open another one and just skim over it.
Your heart gave in and you finally opened one of them but you had to go to the bathroom so you left that tab open. You didn’t think anyone would come in the room in that short period of time.
To your surprise quite the opposite happened. When you opened the door you felt like the whole world had turned upside down. Kai and Baekhyun and Kyungsoo were laughing looking at your ipad.
“What are you guys doing?” you asked. Your heart sank when the turned the screen around to reveal the tab that you had left open.
“We didn’t know you read stuff like this,” Kai said poking fun of you.
“Stop it guys,” you said lunging towards them. “I wasn’t reading it. I was just..” you left your sentence hanging.
“What’s with all the excitement? What’s going on?” Chanyeol asked walking into the room.
“Look what _______ was reading,” Kyungsoo announced. He gave the ipad to Chanyeol. Chanyeol glanced over it for a second and he knew exactly what it was. He looked at you and then the other members.
“I wasn’t,” you mouthed the words. Your face was heating up with embarrassment.
“She was,” Kai added. A faint smile appeared on Chanyeol’s face as if he was making fun of you to. Tears started forming in the corner of your eyes. You tried your best to hide them but Chanyeol still saw them.
“Okay stop it guys. It’s not funny anymore,” he said raising his hands.
“Who said it was funny? It’s embarrassing. How can she ever read stuff like this?” Baekhyun said rolling his eyes.
“Stop! Seriously,” Chanyeol said raising his voice a little bit.
“Why are you yelling?” Kyungsoo said looking at Chanyeol strangely.
“I’m not yelling. You guys are just being annoying,” Chanyeol said calming down a little bit.
“We should leave shouldn’t we?” Kai said looking from here to there.
“Ye,” Chanyeol said moving aside to give them way.
“I wasn’t reading them,” you said as he walked towards you. Your eyes were fixed on the floor.
“Come here you!!!,” Chanyeol said pulling you into a tight hug and messing your hair. “Don’t worry about it okay?” After that he kissed you to let your mind off of what had just happened.

Okay so I don’t think I’ll be up for OT12 scenarios anymore. I was having a brain drain while writing these and since I couldn’t come up with something super fantastic I had to use the typical stereotypes for some of the members. Some of them are longer than others but that wasn’t planned at all. I just get crazy while writing. [This took me almost 4 hours to write] so please don’t bash me and I hope you all like it :)

Luhan:
Luhan entered the dorm hoping to find some peace from his day long schedules. He missed the times when the members did everything together. Now that they had individual schedules he missed spending time with them. He casually threw his bag to one corner and took his jacket off. Just as he was about to throw it on the couch he heard your sniffles.
“Oh my goodness! You’re here. I mean.. you’re crying. What happened?” he asked a little shaken seeing you in the dorm.
“Luhan!” you said hugging him tightly as soon as he sat beside you.
“What’s wrong?” he asked patting your head.
“Lay..! He made me cry..” you whimpered. You clenched on to his shirt tightly.
“What?” Luhan jumped up hearing that. He couldn’t believe it for a second. Lay would never do such a thing. He would never hurt anyone but seeing you cry like a baby was getting him furious.
“Yixing!!!!!” he yelled. “Where are you?” he shouted running into the room. You didn’t take notice that he was angry until you heard him yell at lay in the room.
“What is wrong with you? Why would you make her cry?” Luhan asked Lay sternly.
“She’s crying?” Lay asked jumping out of the bed.
“Yes she is,” he replied. “How could you do this?”
“Calm down Luhan,” Lay tried to hold him but got pushed back instead.
“Luhan what are you doing?” you said running into the room.
“Let me handle this ________,” he replied angrily. He was about to advance towards Lay once again but you interrupted.
“But Lay didn’t do anything,” you said.
“Yeaaah,” Lay replied taking a step back.
“What? What do you mean?” Luhan asked turning around.
“He was telling me the story of how his grandparents met and got separated.”
“I didn’t think she was going to start crying. Seriously I had no idea,” Lay added defending himself.
“Really?” Luhan’s jaw dropped. “You were crying about that?”
“Ye,” you pouted wiping the last traces of tears from your cheeks. All three of you looked at each other for a good minute before bursting into laughter.
“Come here you,” Luhan said putting his arm around your neck and messing your hair. He gave you a sweet smooch which got both you and him kicked out of Lay’s room.

Kris:
“I am so glad you are getting along with the members. I was worried for nothing,” Kris said jumping on the bed beside you.
“Huh!.. ah ye,” you replied trying to gather your scattered thoughts.
“Is something wrong?” Kris asked lifting your chin.
“Yeah everything is fine,” you replied. You didn’t want to bother him about how Tao acted around you. Kris was very nervous about introducing you to the other members who now had to keep this relationship a secret from the company and the managers. You had hung out with them a couple of times. Everyone was fine around you except Tao. He never talked to you and when he did, he always made a face making it pretty clear that he didn’t want you there. You had tried to talk to him about it earlier that day but he simply cut you off and walked away. Your were debating if you should tell Kris about it or not. You didn’t want to tell on Tao but you also wanted to get rid of the awkwardness between you and him.
“_______,” you heard Kris say your name. You looked at his face. He seemed pretty concerned. He had called your name 4 times before you finally heard him. You returned his worried looks with questioning eyes.
“I know something is bothering you. Just tell me already,” he asked once again.
“I don’t know how to say this,” you began but soon realized you didn’t have any words to say. Kris squeezed your hand, pushing you to finish. “I think Tao doesn’t like me,” you finally blurted it out.
“What? Why wouldn’t he?” Kris asked. You explained to him what had happened earlier that day and the days before. In the process you got a little emotional and began to shed tears. You certainly didn’t mean to but they came gushing out. Kris’s worried expression changed to a more angry one. He grabbed his cell phone from the night stand to dial a number.
“What are you doing?” you asked. He didn’t respond. As soon the person picked up the phone from the other side Kris began yelling. “We need to talk about something very important tonight,” he said grinding his teeth.
“Kris,” you cried taking the phone from him and turning it off. “Are you crazy? I don’t want you to get mad at him because of this. Just talk to him about it nicely. If you yell, he’ll just hate me more. And I certainly don’t want to be the reason you two fight,” you said. Kris looked at you for a good minute as if scanning each and every feature of your face. He leaned and gave you an unexpected kiss on the forehead.
“Don’t ever let go off me,” he said running his long fingers through your hair.
“I won’t,” you whispered back resting your head on his shoulder.

Lay:
Lay dragged your shaking body inside the dorm despite your efforts of stopping him before he did something stupid. Your fears became reality when he shouted Chen’s name from across the living room.
“Chen!!!! Where are you?” he yelled once again.
“It’s okay Lay. Let it go,” you said patting his shoulder. Your hands were still shaking from standing in the cold for almost 2 hours.
“What’s wrong?” Chen said coming out of the room rubbing his eyes.
“I told you to do one thing. One thing and you couldn’t even do that!” Lay shouted. Chen jumped back in surprise at his harsh tone. He had no idea what was going on. “Do you even remember what I told you to do on Tuesday?”
“No,” Chen replied hesitantly looking at you and then back at him. There were tears in your eyes but you tried to hide them.
“You promised me you would pick her up at 11 o clock today. She had to stand outside in the cold waiting for you for two hours. You know how heavy the snow was today …if I knew you were going to do this I would have never depended on you.” Lay smacked his forehead in frustration.
“Oh my goodness,” Chen covered his mouth. You could sense the guilt on his face. “I am so sorry ________. I don’t know what happened. I should have set a reminder. I am so so sorry,” Chen apologized holding your hand.
“It’s okay oppa. I’m fine,” you replied pulling a smile.
“No, you’re probably going to get sick. Here! Sit down. Let me make you some coffee,” Chen said hurriedly. He couldn’t think straight.”
“You don’t have to do that,” Lay said softening up a little bit but he still seemed to be angry.
“I’m fine oppa,” you said to Chen and shot a look at Lay signaling him to calm down.
“I’m really sorry hyung,” Chen said turning to Lay. “Please forgive me.”
“It’s alright,” Lay replied. Both of them didn’t make any eye contact. Lay came and settled beside you. You didn’t want to push him to be nice to Chen anymore because you knew they just needed some time. They would be fine soon. Lay put his arms around you pressing your body against his to give you warmth. Sometimes, you really liked the over protectiveside of him. You gave him a quick peck on the cheek and then rested your head on his chest.

Xiumin:
“Give it back to me!!!” you yelled running after Luhan.
“Just let me see it for a second,” Luhan cried.
“What’s going on?” Xiumin asked from the corridor. He had been standing there for quite a while watching the two of you run around each other.
“I only want him to see it first,” you said in a lower tone so Xiumin wouldn’t hear it.
“If you let me see it I’ll probably be able to tell you if he’ll like it or not,” Luhan replied eyeing Xiumin secretly.
“How about I just let him see it and he can tell me since you know I got it for him,” you replied. You were getting a little annoyed but you didn’t want to show it.
“Aniyaa!,” Luhan whined lifting his hand in the air.
“Guys seriously cut it out,” Xiumin said, still not being able to understand what was happening.
“Oppa!..” you cried and tried to pull his sleeve. Luhan raised his hand up higher jumping back a little. You pushed him further which caused him to trip and the box flew out of his hand to the other side of the room.
*Huh* - both you and him let out a gasp looking at each other and then the box. You lunged towards it and opened it. As expected there was a crack on the dial. Very unconsciously tears started gushing out of your eyes like waterfall.
“Oh my goodness! I didn’t mean to,” Luhan said shaking his hands. Xiumin ran towards both of you. He knelt down to lift your face. As soon as he saw your tears he became furious.
“Luhan! What did you do?” he yelled.
“I’m sorry. I’m really sorry,” Luhan replied apologetically. “She got it for you and I just wanted to look at it.. but .. I really didn’t mean for this to happen,” he added.
“Why didn’t you just give it back to her when she asked for it?” he asked getting up and leaning into Luhan. His eyes were blazing with anger and his tone of voice quite complimented that. You immediately got up to stop Xiumin.
“It’s okay! I’ll just buy a new one,” you said wiping your tears.
“I’m really sorry _________,” Luhan apologized again.
“Why did..” Xiumin began again but you held his arm and squeezed it to stop him. “It really is okay,” you said. Xiumin took the box from you. He took out the watch and ran his finger on the cracked dial.
“I’m so sorry you guys,” Luhan said once again. He had said it so many times that both you and Xiumin felt bad.
“It’s okay,” you guys said at the same time. Luhan took a sigh of relief and pulled you two into a tight hug.

Chen
It was just like any other Friday night in Exo M’s dorm. Laughter and giggles filled the air. Lay’s usual facial expressions, Chen’s sarcastic replies, Tao’s unintentional errors and Kris’s eye rolls. You loved all of it. This time the guys were fighting over food. Lay had put in a lot of effort to make a spicy Japanese delicacy that everyone wanted to try at the same time.
“It’s good!,” Luhan said giving a thumbs up.
“Aish! Too spicy,” Xiumin said panting like a puppy. “You hate spicy stuff. Why would you make it so spicy?”
“I thought you guys like spicy stuff,” Lay said scrunching his nose.
“_________ try it,” Xiumin offered it to you.
“Aahhh aniya! I can’t handle spicy food,” you denied politely.
“No it’s really good,” Tao insisted shoving a spoonful in your mouth. You had no choice but to chew on it. “It’s good right?” Xiumin asked eagerly. You half nodded half shook your head. You barely finished one when Kris shoved another one in your mouth.
“Guys it’s too spicy,” you said with your mouthful.
“Yeah guys stop it,” Chen said looking at your serious face. Tears were forming in the corner of your eyes. as you swallowed part of it.
“Can’t you tell she likes it!” Luhan said winking at Chen.
“She doesn’t!”Chen said angrily. Everyone stopped to look at him. “Can’t you see she doesn’t like it? Look at the tears in her eyes!” he said even more angrily.
“Calm down man,” Luhan said putting a hand on Chen’s shoulder. You hurriedly finished chewing the food to stop Chen from yelling.
“Oppa! It’s alright. I’m fine,” you said wiping the tears out of your eyes.
“Oh she was actually crying,” Xiumin said covering his mouth.
“Yeah man! look what you did,” Luhan said hitting Tao on the back of his head.
“What? What did I do?” Tao asked innocently. Before you knew it, they were all arguing about if you were crying or not. You walked up to Chen and stood beside him. The two of you watched the members fight like babies. Chen’s anger subsided as quickly as it had risen. He put his arm around you and gave you a kiss on your temple. You liked the protective side of him.
********************************************************
Tao
“Why did you make me watch it?” you whined hiding your face into Tao’s body.
“It wasn’t that scary,” Kris said getting up from his corner of the couch. “Come on Luhan let’s give these two love birds some space. They’ve been wanting us to leave them alone since this evening.”
“What? No!” Tao said with a very unconvincing tone.
“Yeah yeah Tao. Save it for another day,” Kris replied.
“You go I’ll come in a bit,” Luhan replied. You turned to look back at Kris but he had already disappeared into the dark hallway.
“I’m really scared,” you mumbled to Tao.
“It was nothing real __________,” he replied.
“Ahhh yes it was. It was actually based on a true story,” Luhan added with a serious face.
“Shhhhhh!” Tao glared at him and put his arm around you to comfort you.
“I need to pee,” you whispered. Tao looked at you as if telling you that you didn’t really have to announce that and just walk to the bathroom if you had to. “I’m scared,” you said.
“You’ll be fine. Be brave okay. I’m watching you from here.”
“But what if it comes after me,” you said in a crying voice.
“It won’t,” he replied rubbing your arm. “Now go!”
You hesitantly got up and began to walk through the dark hallway. The bathroom was right next to Kris’s room. You could feel your hands shaking. A gush of cold air touched your bare feet. You felt like you were in that movie and someone was going to attack you from behind. Just then someone jumped in front of you waving his hands in the air and making weird boogy noises.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” you screamed holding your fist close to your chest. Tears began flowing out of your eyes immediately. You heard footsteps coming towards you. Someone turned on the lights and the next second you were in someone’s arms. You could tell that it was Tao because of the fragrance.
“What did you do?” Tao asked glaring at Kris.
“I thought it was Luhan. I was trying to scare him.”
“Well now you scared her. She’s crying. You know how scared she is!” Tao said angrily. He patted your head to comfort you. Kris was a little taken aback at Tao’s intense reaction. He didn’t know what to say.
“__________ I’m sorry,” you heard him say. You shook your head almost rubbing your face against Tao’s shirt. Tao kept patting your head to calm you.
“I seriously had no idea,” Kris said apologetically. You felt another pair of hands on you. They were Luhan’s. He was trying to comfort you too.
Tao walked you back to the couch, your head still buried into his chest.
“You didn’t have to get mad at him like that,” you murmured.
“I know,” Tao sighed. “I’ll go apologize in a minute.” He gave you a kiss on your temple and let you rest your head against him till you fell asleep.

I am not good with writing brief scenarios. My hand itches to add more details. This is the reason why it took me forever to finish this and I’m not even done with Exo K. I’ll write that pretty soon. I hope you guys like this though :)

Sneaking into Exo M’s practice room was a no big deal for you anymore. You had been doing that for that past 6 months. Initially it was a little tough since the managers were always hanging around but after a while you found ways and excuses to just casually walk in. After all you worked there. They couldn’t do a whole lot to you. Everything was under control except when the day the company found out you and your boyfriend would be in big trouble. He often complained about this complicated situation but your cheerful personality always made him feel better.
Just like all the days, you tip toed to their practice room but kept it casual at the same time.
“Oh look who’s here! To casually say hi to us of course,” Luhan said winking at Xiumin.
“Stop it,” Xiumin said hitting him on the back of his head. The guys were packing their bags and getting ready to leave.
“What? You guys are leaving already?” you pouted.
“Relax,” Kris said. He walked up to you, holding his bag with his signature style. “Your baozi is practicing until late today,” he said and then messed up your hair.
“Ye, I was going to stay with him and practice but now that you’re here I can go home,” Luhan said also packing his bag.
“What?” Xiumin cried glaring at Luhan.
“Huh! You don’t want to be alone with me?” you mumbled to Xiumin lovingly. You held his arm to make him even more uncomfortable with in front of the guys.
“________ not in front of the guys,” he whispered to you but he dare not shrug his arm from your grip.
“Aish, stop being so scared,” you elbowed him. Luhan shook his head at the cute conversation you and Xiumin were having. He winked at Xiumin once again before walking out with the rest of the members.
“Why are you so scared of them?” you muttered as soon as the practice room door closed.
“Becaussssseee!” Xiumin replied with no intentions of finishing his sentence. You slid in front of him so he could hold you from the waist. “What will I ever do about you?” he remarked shaking his head.
“What you’ve always been doing,” you said and gave him a quick peck on the lips. “Now start practicing!!” you said clapping your hands and pushing him away from you. You walked up to where the music system was and played the song he was supposed to be practicing. Xiumin began dancing and you settled yourself in a corner to play some temple run 2 on your phone. He had challenged you to beat his score.
Your patience level was very low. You quickly got bored and moved to your next favorite activity –watching Xiumin while he practiced. That day was the first time you were seeing him dance alone. This gave you a chance to notice his every little move and every change of expression. He looked very serious than usual. Or maybe he was always like that and you were just then noticing it.
“Minseok,” you mouthed his name in amazement. You were sort of proud and amazed, looking at your handsome boyfriend practice diligently. He hadn’t taken his eyes off of the mirror in front of him for one second. He wanted to examine his every move and perfect it. You weren’t planning on taking your eyes off of him either. Slowly and gradually you began to realize how comical he looked, looking all serious. His lips a tightly closed, his eyes quivering a little, sweat beads forming on his forehead. The moments of his hand were very precise. If he got it wrong he shook his head and started again. From a girl friend’s point of view he looked quite sexy too. Nevertheless you burst into laughter. Xiumin’s attention diverted towards you for a quick second. He shook his head watching you curl up holding your stomach. He went back to practicing doing the same things as before. Perfect hip thrusts, precise hand movements and fiery expressions. Your laughing didn’t stop. It kept distracting Xiumin. You were wiping the tears out of your eye when you heard the music stop.
“Huh!” you looked up. Xiumin was walking towards you. He sat down, legs crossed, in front of you.
“What’s wrong?” he asked. He wasn’t angry but he wasn’t happy either. You didn’t know what he was thinking.
“Nothing,” you mumbled shaking your head.
“Well! Something’s up…” he trailed off.
“You know I always laugh like that. Just ignore me and go back to practice,” you pushed him lightly. Xiumin held your hand and pulled you towards him. He opened his legs and spread them to give wide so you could have more space.
“Minseok ah! What are you doing?” you asked. You were blushing at his sudden action. He shook his head pulling you even more closer.
“Someone will see us. We’ll get caught. Seriously!” you warned him but there was no stopping him. He gave you a quick peck on the lips just like you had done earlier and then immediately turned your side ways pinning you to the floor. You began to giggle once again but this time it was to cover up your heated face and red ears. He lifted his finger and ran it down your cheek.
“Why do you still blush! It’s been a long time we’ve been together ________!” he whispered. You looked away in embarrassment but he turned you to face him again.
“We’ll get in trouble,” you said once again.
“Shhhh!” you heard him say. He leaned in and kissed you. No pecks this time! A deep long kiss. So long that both you and him got completely lost in the moment. He pulled away to let you breathe. He was breathless too. You looked at him and he at you and then both of you began to laugh.
“I love you,” you said.
“I love you too,” he replied.
You were a crazy couple indeed…

The sky seemed lighter than usual that night. You knew it was going to start snowing soon and then there was your boyfriend who had decided to walk back home after dinner. He came up with the craziest ideas at the craziest times.
“You know it’s going to start snowing soon right?” you remarked blowing warm breath on your hands.
“Ye,” he nodded. “Come here,” he pulled you and took your hands in his. “Better now?”
“Ahhh your hands are so warm,” you said and put your head on his shoulder. “But still! We should have taken a taxi.”
Xiumin chuckled at your immediate change in mood. He squeezed your hand and the shoved it into his pocket.
“Gomawo,” you mumbled to him. He looked up at the sky and then made a weird sound. It was a mixture of a gasp and a short cry.
“What?” you asked keeping your head relaxed on his shoulder.
“It really is about to snow. Look!,” he said showing you the snow flake he had caught.
“What?” you said looking at his hand. There was nothing there. The snowflake had melted before he could show it to you.
“Look up!,” he said stopping in the middle of the road. You looked up and indeed it really had started snowing.
“Oh my my,” you gasped. You held on to his hand tightly and the two of you began running. Neither of you wanted to get sick since Xiumin had schedules the following week and you had just barely recovered from a fever.
“Let’s just go to my dorm… your apartment is too far,” he said as the two of you continued to run. You had no choice but to comply.
************************************************
“Where are the members?” you asked after entering his cozy dorm.
“I don’t know. They should have been back by now,” he replied.
“Oooo,” you said in your sexy voice slowly leaning closer to him. “So this means we have some alone time.”
“_________!,” he said your name with a serious face. “Are you okay?”
“Waaaeeee!,” you cried. “Why do you always do that.” This time you hit his chest and made sure it would hurt.
“Aaaa,” he pretended to get hurt. You rolled your eyes and turned around but he held you and pulled you towards him.
“I want to say something,” he said. “Actually I’ve been meaning to say it for a while now.”
“O! Oo!,” you joked.
“I’m serious ________,” he replied once again with a serious expression. It wasn’t anything new to you. He always had a flat expression so you never knew when he was joking and when he was serious. You nodded to tell him that he had all of your attention.
“I was thinking… that..we should try ..you know!” He paused for a little bit trying to form the right words. “We should try…having a baby,” he said hesitantly. You looked at his cute little face and burst into laughter.
“Awwww you want a baozi jr.? Who can be just as cute and bubbly and chubby as you?” you couldn’t stop giggling how cutely Xiumin had said that. You wanted to hug him kiss and pull his puffy cheeks. Wiping the tears out of your eyes you looked at him. Your heart sank finding a very grave expression on his face.
“What’s wrong?” you said pulling on his sleeve. Xiumin shrugged your hand away and walked inside his room. Xiumin was usually really good with handling jokes so you didn’t understand why he had reacted like that. One thing you knew for sure was that he was mad at you and you hated that. It was really hard to apologize to him. You always had to put in a lot of effort.
“Oppa!,” you said poking your head inside the room. You wanted to get a sense of how mad he was. “Are you mad at me?” you asked. You bit your tongue upon asking such a stupid question.
“Don’t talk to me,” he said. His back was facing you. You walked up to him and kneeled down forcing him to look at you.
“So you won’t look at me now?” you asked. He shook his head to the other side. “Are you mad because I joked about you being chubby?” He didn’t respond or bother to look at you.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. You know it’s not true right?” you asked.
“Just forget it _________.” He got up and walked to the other side of the room making it very obvious that he didn’t want to talk to you. You mentally cursed yourself a little. You knew very well that he was a little sensitive about such things but you and your blabber mouth that you could never control had messed things up once again. In all that chaos you had completely over looked his request. He had asked you something very important. Something that you yourself had wanted for so long.
You smiled watching him stand, facing his back to you. He looked cute whenever he was mad or maybe it was just the way you saw him.
“Xiumin oppa,” you called out walking up to him. He had folded his arms firmly which intimidated you a little at first. You forced his arms open and then rested your head on his chest.
“I’m sorry. I’ll never do it again,” you whispered. You waited for him to say something but he didn’t utter a single word. You had started to lose hope. Just as you were about to pull away, he held you and pressed you against him.
“It’s okay,” you heard him say. He was smiling when you pulled away from him. A wild idea crossed your mind “Now where were we?” you said unbuttoning his shirt.
“You’re still up for that?” he asked as a faint smile embraced his lips.
“Ye,” you said. Just then you could feel yourself blushing. Xiumin leaned in and gave you a sweet peck on your cheeks before pulling you towards the bed.

I completely messed up the ending because certain personal things came up and I couldn’t keep up with it. Life’s hard! – Anyways I hope you guys still like it. :)
Part 1 for those who didn’t get to read it. Let me know if you guys liked the ending.
Present Day:
The man came and sat across from you. You could feel his gaze upon you but you didn’t care enough to look up. There was only one thing on your mind –had the letter reached him? Luhan had promised to stay by your side than why was he so far away from you? Why hadn’t he shown up? As the clock ticked you began to get more and more nervous. Whenever anxiety took over you, you closed your eyes to think about something pleasant. That day you did the same. Resting your back against the wooden bench you closed your eyes and tried to picture his face for that was the only thing that brought you comfort.
***********************************************************
3 years ago:
It was your eighteenth birthday and just like all the other times your parents decided to have a grand party inviting everyone you didn’t knew. It was just another excuse for them to show off their wealth and find suitable suitors for you. You sat in a corner with your cheeks puffed up eyeing everyone. Your parents had been kind enough to let you invite some of your friends but even they were busy having fun. Nobody cared about the party girl.
“Why are you hiding in the corner? Come enjoy the party..” Youngshin said approaching you. You rolled your eyes at the sight of him. Out of all the guys, he was the least you wanted to talk to. He had tried asking you out several times but you always denied politely. Somehow he never gave up and kept hope alive. The reason you didn’t like him was because of his cockiness. He failed to acknowledged other people around him and that’s one thing you hated the most. Besides you were already half in love with another guy who had no idea how you felt.
“I’m fine here. You should go have fun,” you said.
“Oh here goes the music,” he said as soon as someone started playing slow music in the background. Many couples ran to the dance floor instantly. “Care to dance with me?” he asked. You shook your head without bothering to look at him.
“___________ please,” he said making a puppy dog face. You wanted to tell him that it only made him look more stupid but you knew he wouldn’t understand. To prevent any further persuasion and his cheesy statements, you took his hand and proceeded to the dance floor.
“Did I tell you that you look beautiful today?” he said trying to remove the strands of hair from your face. You shook your head in annoyance, pushing his hand away from you. The rest of the night dragged just like that. Your eyes were looking for one person and one person only but there was no way he could show up. He wasn’t allowed to according to your father’s orders.
.
You returned to your room after the party. It was almost midnight. Your special day was ending and you hadn’t smiled all day. Just then, you heard a light knock on the door. Your heart jumped and so did you, right out of the bed and towards the door.
“Luhan!” you cried as soon as you opened the door.
“Shhhhh!” he said putting his slender fingers on your lips. “Don’t be too loud. I don’t want to get caught.” You chuckled at his precautions and then dragged him to the bed with you.
“So did you get me something?” you asked.
“Of course,” he replied and then opened his fist to reveal a small box that had been very neatly wrapped. “Here, open it.”
You took it from him and carefully unwrapped and then opened the box. “Oh Lulu,” you gasped at the sight of a beautiful pendent. “It’s beautiful,” you said and pulled him into a hug.
“It’s nothing big. I didn’t have enough mone…”
“Shhhh,” you cut him. “Don’t say that.” You heard him chuckle which made you want to hug him tighter. And then there in that moment you let yourself loose. You didn’t want t let go off of him. You wanted him to understand your feelings for him without you having to utter a single word. Luhan began to pull away. You had no choice but to do the same. Your eyes met his, his soft breath touched your face sending tingles down your body. The brain and heart began to battle once again.
“Lu..” you began to say but the next moment you felt his lips pressed against yours. It took your brain a while to register what was happening and then your heart smiled back at you- teasing you in sort of a way that it had been right the whole time. Luhan did feel the same way about you after all and that is all what your heart had been telling you.
Then suddenly, before you could even savor the moment, he pulled away. He smacked his forehead as if cursing himself for doing something wrong. “I’m sorry,” he said, standing his back facing you.
“What do you mean you’re sorry?” you asked pulling him to turn around. He looked at you strangely. There wrinkles on both yours and his forehead. He cupped your face in his hands and ran his fingers on your forehead trying to calm you down.
“I feel the same way about you,” you whispered.
“It’s wrong,” he said. He turned around once again, shaking his head continuously. “I shouldn’t have done that. How could I be so stupid?”
For some reason instead his words began to hurt you. You had waited for that moment so long and when it finally happened he was regretting it. “Stop it Lulu,” you said in your crying voice. “Don’t do this to me.”
He turned around with a worried expression hearing your voice. He pulled you into a hug and slowly patted your back.
“Do you have any idea how long I have waited for this? And you go on saying its wrong? Do you not love me the same way I love you?” your voice muffled into his shirt.
“I do! I do,” he repeated, still patting your back.
“Please don’t go anywhere,” you said.
“I won’t! I won’t,” he replied kissing you on your temple.
***********************************
The guy who sat opposite had fallen asleep. You lifted your hand to caress the cheek Youngshin had slapped you on a few days back. The bruise hurt but it was also a reminder of freedom you had received that day. You cared more about the latter. Your eyes fell on the clock. It was almost 2 o clock. The trains were going to start working at 5 o clock again. There wasn’t much time left. If he didn’t come that day, you were going to leave and never come back. You were going to start a new life, leaving everything behind just like Luhan had decided to do on the day of your wedding.
************************************
1 year ago (from present)
You sat facing the mirror, in your wedding dress looking blankly into space. Your life was soon going to be over. Your eyes had shed enough tears in the past few weeks that even they refused to form anymore. Every time your eyes met his, he returned your expressionless face with a smile. You knew he was putting up an act just so you wouldn’t think about him. You would forget about him and move on with your life. But how could you forget the three beautiful years you had spent with him. In fact how could you forget your entire childhood you had spent with him. Did the relationship you guys had meant nothing to him? The times he snuck into your room so the two of you could spend some time together. The time he first kissed you telling you he loved you and all the kisses after. The time you fell asleep in his lap and he didn’t dare move even if it meant risking himself getting caught the next morning. And out of all, the times you and him vowed to never leave each other. How did all of it just suddenly meant nothing to him? How could he act like that knowing it would hurt you so much.
The door clicked open and in came him except that this time he was here to notify to be ready. You were going to be called anytime.
“Luhan wait,” you called before he could close the door.
“I have a lot of other arrangements to look at,” he said hurriedly almost chocking on his words. You got up and began to walk towards him. “If everything doesn’t happen accordingly you know your father will be mad,” he said. You stopped very close to him and shut the door angrily. “_________, I really have to go,” he said shaking his head to avoid your eyes. He himself was teary eyed.
“Shhhhhhhh,” you murmured and lay your head on his chest. To your surprise, he embraced you.
“I’m sorry,” you heard him mumble and then after that both you and him began to cry. You cried for a long time tightly hugging each other.
He pulled away, wiped your tears and then before you could make any efforts to stop him, he left.
.
You felt nothing, heard nothing, spoke nothing after that day. Your pride had slapped you right in the face and so you entered Youngshin’s house as his bride. Life couldn’t have done you more injustice. You tried to convince yourself that it wouldn’t be as bad since he loved you. It doesn’t matter if you don’t love him but turned out that you were living in a delusion the whole time.
Youngshin was more cocky than you thought he was. He married you for the status and money. Just like you, his family had forced him into the marriage. Now both of you were stuck with each other except that he hated you a lot more than you hated him. “Do you really think I would treat you nicely after all you did to me? I stopped liking you after the first time you rejected me but my parents kept pushing me into it,” he said to you one night when you questioned him about his strange behavior.
“What do you mean?” you asked.
“I mean that I knew all about your little love story with that servant boy,” he scowled angrily.
“He’s not a servant,” you suddenly yelled back.
“How dare you?” he yelled back lunging towards you. “How dare you shout at me?” he said dragging you on the floor.
“Leave me,” you struggled which backfired because he shoved you on the floor.
“You can’t treat me like this. I am your wife,” you cried.
“You are worth nothing to me,” he said with a disgusted face. “And don’t you dare talk to me in that tone again.
.
After that night, things only got worse. The beatings became harsher and the words more cutting. He accused you of things you had never done before. You had tried to forget your past but he kept bringing it up and presenting it to you like an open tale. You had promised Luhan you would forget about him but as the days passed you thought more and more of him.
Then one day Youngshin crossed all limits and picked up a knife while he was half drunk. You screamed and yelled for helping but his grip was strong on you. Somehow you escaped and locked yourself in the room. After the night passed Youngshin had come back to his senses a little but he had made one decision for sure. He was going to set you free. He said it so bluntly that for a second you couldn’t believe it. You weren’t sure if you were more happy than sad. If he hadn’t let you go that day you would have run away anyways. The only problem was that you were on your own. No house, no clothes no food except for some cash in your pocket. The last thing you wanted was for your parents to find out and come to get you. You wrote a letter to Luhan telling him all that had happened. You knew he would come running after you but a little part of you doubted that. Luhan was very firm with the decisions he made. You knew he would make you go back and fix everything with your husband but if the selfish side of him won he wouldn’t do that to you. Everything was a mess.
*******************************************
Time had flown by. You breathed a heavy sigh and looked at the clock hesitantly. It was 4:15. You felt betrayed. You felt stupid. And yet the candle of hope was still lit brightly in your heart. Luhan would do anything but leave you waiting like this.
The clock kept ticking, making your heartbeat faster with every minute as it passed.
