Your Wish Is My Command

“Coffee?”– [Sehun -Exo]

Sehun sat besides you and sighed. Looking at the winkles on his forehead, you realized that he was very distressed. “You okay?” you asked.

“Woahh..where did you come from?” he jumped back in susprise.

“I was sitting here…” you pouted. You felt a little ashamed because you thought he had noticed you before sitting down.

“Sorry,” he mumbled. His face was buried in his hands. You didn’t know if you should ask him what was wrong. You only knew him through a friend and that too for about a month. You sat in silence, hearing him sigh repeatedly. You decided to excuse yourself.

“I have to go to class… I will see you later,” you said getting up.

“Oh sure.. see you around,” he replied.

**********************************************

Two months later:

You were walking to your last class of the day with your friend when Sehun called him from behind.

“Jeremy… stop!” he shouted from afar. Both you and Jeremy turned around.

“What’s up man?” the guys did a fist pump.

“Wanna go to the club tonight?”

“Didn’t we just go last week?” Jeremy replied.

“Yeah we did.. but tonight’s important,” Sehun said emphasizing on the last word.

“Ohhh,” Jeremy nodded and smiled.

“You should join too __________,” Sehun looked towards you.

“Nah it seems like a guys type of night. You two enjoy.”

“Oh no! You’ll have fun. Trust me,” he insisted.

You looked at Jeremy. He began to push you to join too. You finally nodded in agreement. You felt a little special when Sehun insisted that you come.

**********************************************

That night:

You wore your best outfit which you had been saving for a special occasion. It was your first time going to a club in almost two years. You had stopped going ever since your boy friend broke up with you.

When you and Jeremy reached the club you were surprised to see Sehun on his knees.

“What are you doing?” the girl standing opposite him asked.

“Will you be my girlfriend?” he asked.

“Why are you on your knees?” she asked.

“So you wouldn’t say no this time,” he winked.

The girl smiled and accepted the rose. The crowd around them clapped and began to congratulate Sehun. He saw the two of you and brought his girlfriend over.

“Hey guys! This is Nina,” he introduced her.

You felt a little stupid for dressing up so much. On the bright side, Sehun was too busy to notice your curls and bright red lipstick. It didn’t feel right to you to stay there for too long. Jeremy had started flirting with other girls and Sehun was too busy with Nina to talk to you. You quietly left before anyone could notice.

***********************************************

Two Years Later:

You worked at a small art studio place on the weekends. After graduation days had started to fly. You had no social life. All of your time was spent working and exercising. Sunday nights weren’t usually busy. One or two couples always showed up. That day it was raining heavily. You didn’t even bother standing behind the register. You took out a book and began to read. You were so involved in your book that you didn’t even hear the bell ring when someone entered the store.

“Annyeong-hasaeyo!” a customer said. You were taken by surprise at the sudden appearance. You looked up and a drenched Sehun was looking down at you.

“________,” he said your name in surprise.

“Sehun…” you said his name too. “Wooow I’m guessing you didn’t check the wheather before leaving?” you mocked him.

He nodded in embarrassment. “I was dying of boredom sitting at home so I decided to do something fun. One of my friends recommended this art studio. I was half way here when it started raining,” he explained hurriedly.

“Awww,” you sympathized with him.

“So what would you like to do?” you asked.

He looked around but didn’t seem too excited. “I don’t know if I want to do anything anymore. The rain’s killed my mood.”

“You don’t like rain?” you asked in surprise. He shook his head.

“That’s sad,” you commented.

Sehun sat down on a small stool a little away from the cash register. “Is it okay if I stay here till it stops raining?” he asked.

“Of course,” you replied.

The two of you began to catch up on college times. Jeremy had left for the United States but surprisingly Sehun was still in contact with him.

“I am surprised you never went out with him,” he said.

“What…no way. He was just a good friend,” you said.

“It’s what they all say,” he smirked.

You scrunched your nose in disagreement. “What about you and Nina? How is she?” you asked while handing him a cup of coffee. You heard him sigh.

“We broke up,” he said.

“Omo! Why?” you asked.

“It’s a long story. I’ll tell you some other time,” he said. He looked upset.

“What about you? How’s your love life. I remember you didn’t really like talking about it.”

You smiled at him, not sure if you should open up. “Have you never had a boyfriend?” he asked.

“I did,” you mumbled.

“Really? What happened?” he asked.

“Well… we went out for two years and I thought we were the perfect couple.”

“You weren’t?” he asked. You shook your head.

“Yeah! He broke up with me… because one night we both went to a club together. I drank too much and ended up throwing up on him. He felt humiliated and so he left me.”

“Jinja??” Sehun’s eyes widened in surprise. You nodded your head nervously. It was the first time you had told anyone about your relationship.

“I broke up with Nina because she would constantly accuse me of cheating on her.”

“Were you?” you asked.

“Huh… you think I would do that??” he said.

“Is that why you left her?”

“I thought it would be for the better. I began to realize that she is not the type of girl I want to be with.”

“How long has it been?”

“About six months now.. I think.”

“Do you still think about her?”

“A little.”

There was a short silence between the two of you. Sehun played with the last bit of coffee in his cup. You could tell that he was thinking about her.

“Relationships suck don’t they?” you asked.

“Not all of them,” he said. “ Keep hope alive.” He looked at his watch. It was close to 10 o clock. “Shouldn’t you be closing?” he asked. “I’ll walk you home, since its still raining.”

“Are you sure it’s not because you don’t have an umbrella?” you laughed.

“Aish,” he pushed you jokingly.

Sehun walked you home that night. You let him borrow your umbrella for the night as long as he promised to return it the next day.

****************************************************

The next day:

You found your umbrella outside your door when you returned home from work. You picked it up and a note fell down that was sticking behind it. It was from Sehun.

~ Wanna meet for coffee and talk about how sucky relationships can be ;) ~

You smiled at his silly way of asking you out. He hadn’t changed a bit.

“Sure”- you texted the number that was scribbled under the note.

A beautiful Night- Luhan

You casually back out of the movie theater parking lot… “thuddd” you hear a loud sound. “That didn’t sound very pleasant,” you say to yourself opening the door to your car.

“Oh no no nooooo,” you hear a guy cry.

“Did…I…hit your car?” you ask without looking in his direction.

“Yes,” he replied angrily.

“I’m so sorry,” you said walking towards him. “I am so sorry… I don’t know why I didn’t look in the mirror… I am soooo stupid..”

There was no reply. You looked towards him. He didn’t seem angry anymore. In fact there was sort of a shy smile on his face.

“Let me call the police so he could write a report.” You said dialing 9-1-1.

“Oh no… it’s okay. It doesn’t look that bad.”

“No…nooo there’s a huge dent. Okay.. let me call my insurance company.”

“No, seriously it’s fine. I can get it fixed myself.”

“That’ll cost you a fortune.”

“It’ll cost my dad a fortune,” he said with a calm smile and raised eyebrows.

“Oh…” you nodded your head returning the smile. “Ummm I’ll let you go..” You began to walk back towards your car.

“Umm excuse me…” he said.

“Yes?”

“Maybe..you could give me your number so I could contact you…in case dad refuses to pay?” h asked hesitantly. He played nervously with his fingers.

“Uhh.. yeah sure.. why not,” you replied. You handed a small piece of paper with your number on it.

******************************************

That night…

Your phone beeps- It’s a message from an unknown number.

“Hey.. its me! The person you met from earlier today…”

“I met lots of people today…” you replied knowing it was the guy you had hit the car of.

“I meant.. the guy outside the movie theater.”

“Oh..”

“Yeah…”

“So whatsup?”

“Yeah… dad said he won’t pay for it.. :(“

“What?? Really?? OMG I am so sorry.. okay I’ll call my insurance company right away”

Just as you were about to dial their number you received another text message from him.

“No … I was kidding don’t do that.”

“You scared me.. why would you that…”

“I’m sorry :(“

“Haha..  it’s alright.”

“So..I was wondering if you were free Saturday night?”

“Well that was very straightforward…”

A minute passed and there was no reply. Five minutes… then ten. You felt bad for saying what you did.

“You still there?” you sent another message.

“Oh you’re not upset?” he asked.

“No I thought I had upset you.. I was just joking.”

“Really? I thought I had come off as a creep. I shouldn’t have been so hasty.”

“Oh no I think I was being blunt. I would like to meet up this Saturday.”

“Who said I want to meet up?”

“What??”

“Haha I am kidding. Café Zuke at 7:30”

“Sure..~~”

************************************************

You arrived fifteen minutes before time unlike being fashionably late. To your surprise the guy was already there too. He waved at you from inside the café. Before you could reach for the door, you saw him lunge towards it and open it for you.

“Thank you,” you said slightly bowing. Both of you settled at a table in the corner away from everyone.

“It’s a nice quiet place. I didn’t even know it existed,” you said nervously.

“Are you nervous?” he asked.

“Nervous?” your voice broke as you repeated. “No..not at all.”

“My name is Luhan by the way…” he said while chuckling.

“My name is _________,” you replied with a shy smile. For some reason you felt over whelmed.

“So were you at the movies by yourself the other day?” he asked.

You nodded in agreement. “Yeah… I like watching them by myself. It’s more fun that way.”

“Don’t you get lonely?” he asked.

“Nope.. I haven’t really felt like that till now.” you said.

“That’s strange. I always have to have someone around me.”

“I guess we are the polar opposites..” you murmured.

“Not quiet..” he replied.

You looked at him for an explanation. “Look at the color of your dress… it matches my shirt.”

“That’s one thing,” you smiled a little. You could tell that he was really trying to make you feel at ease.

As the light blue sky turned a bright red and then finally a darker shade of blue, the two of you continued to talk. What started as an awkward conversation turned into something much more meaningful. He offered to walk you to the nearest MTR which you very graciously accepted.

“You know you are not as shallow as people may perceive you to be!” you said.

“Shallow? What do you mean? Why would anyone think that?” He asked a question after the other.

You thought for a while to come up with the right words. “What I meant to say is that you’re not like all those other pretty boys.” You said quickly hoping he didn’t catch what you had said.

“Did you just call me good looking?” he asked.

“Is that the only thing you got out of it?” you laughed.

“You didn’t answer my question” he said.

“Aish…ummm maybe,” you said increasing your pace. “My train is about to leave.”

“This calls for another date…” he said.

“A date? Today was a date?” you asked.

“Yeah…” he smiled with his eyes. You saw him blush but you couldn’t call him out for that since you yourself were blushing.

“I’ll see you later,” you said and quickly jumped onto the train.

It was a beautiful ending to a beautiful night.

A start of something new [Myungsoo]

Requested by 6exo

.

.

It was always around exam time that Myungsoo, Sunggyu and Soojin came to annoy you. You loved them dearly but there were times when you needed space so that you could study. Just as you sat down to read some articles Myungsoo announced his entrance into the room.

“Waaaeee!!” you cried. “Why are you here? I didn’t invite you.”

“You don’t need to. Soojin invited me,” he said patting your head. You saw Soojin and Sunggyu following close behind.

“Soojinaa~ Why did you ask them to come. You know I had to study!” you whined to her.

“I saw them on my way to your apartment. I’m sorry,” she made a sad face.

“Okayyyy, they better not talk then because I need to finish this before midnight,” you specified.

“No you’re not. We are going out,” Myungsoo said getting up.

“No I am not,” you said with an annoyed face.

“Yes we are! Come on,” he pulled you up. “________ you’re like an old grand ma who doesn’t sleep and studies like there’s no tomorrow. Now get up and come with us.”

“I have to finish this. Please don’t do this to me,” you begged.

“I’ll help you finish it later. How does that sound?” he winked at you. You hated it when he did that because it reminded you of how much you liked him just a few months ago. You had to bury those feelings because you knew the time was not right. He had just gotten out of a relationship and besides, you two had been friends way too long for you to just break such big news to him like that.

“Oppa don’t do this to me,” you pouted. Myungsoo pulled your cheeks and then continued to pat them.

“Stop being cute,” he said and pushed you out the door. “We are all waiting for you. Now go get ready.”

**************************************************

“Oiii it’s so cold,” you blew on to your hands.

“I told you to wear something warmer,” Soojin rolled her eyes. For that she earned a hard pat on the back from you.

“Here,” Sunggyu took of his jacket and offered it to you.

“Oh no no! It’s alright. I don’t need it,” you thanked him.

“Sunggyu-aaa Your jacket will be too big on him. Here _________ take mine,” Myungsoo said taking his off and putting it on your shoulders. You did not know how to respond. Something had gotten into him. He had never been this nice to you. If anything he always nagged you because according to him, ‘it was fun’ annoying you.

“Thank you,” you mumbled.

“Who wants coffee?” Sunggyu asked. All of you shook your head in unison. “Come on!! I’m treating you,” Sunggyu added.

“Yaayyyy,” all three of you cheered. “Who doesn’t want free coffee?” Myungsoo said excitedly.

*************************************************

“__________ come with me I want to show you something,” Myungsoo said as soon as all of you got the coffee.

“Wa..wai waiitt!! Where are y’all going?” Sunggyu asked. Myungsoo glared at Sunggyu. Sunggyu let go of him.

Myungsoo took you into a smaller street which despite been late at night was lit with bright lights. “I didn’t know people were up this late,” you said.

“If you enjoy life a little more you’ll be able to know,” Myungsoo remarked.

“Oppaaaaa,” you whined. “You were just me,boring and obsessed with your girlfriend, a few months ago.”

As soon you said that you covered your mouth in embarrassment. You certainly didn’t mean to hurt him by saying that.

“It’s fine,” he said shaking his head slightly.

“I’m sorry I really didn’t mean to…” you said.

“No…it alright. Its time I move on. It’s been eight-nine months now __________.”

“Yeah I know..but..”

“I’m over her. We just weren’t meant to be,” he said. He did not hesitate saying that.

“And besides.. I feel like I lost you guys as friends when I started dating her…and …I missed you guys..I miss you ________.” You felt him squeeze your hand. You didn’t even realize that he had been holding it.

“I just want to thank you for always being there for me even when I had turned my back on all of you. I still cared about you,” he continued.

“You don’t have to apologize. We all still love you,” you said.

“I love you too..” he replied hurriedly. You felt your heart skip a beat. You felt him hold you close to himself. “Thank you for always being there for me.” For a second you thought he felt the same way about you the way you did for him. He didn’t. But your heart could tell that he was getting there. He cared. He just did not know it yet. You let him hold your hand as the two of you walked through the crowd sipping your coffee. It was a start to something beautiful.

There and back [Myungsoo]

 [Requested by 6exo]

“Opppaaa~” you called out into the dark corridor. You were positive that Myungsoo was still in bed. He had stayed up late the night before adjusting and readjusting his schedule for his trip abroad otherwise he usually came to the morning runs with you. You grabbed a towel and your clothes and jumped into the shower.

Myungsoo was still in bed sleeping soundlessly. You grabbed a bag from the top shelf of the closet. You didn’t have the heart to wake up the poor soul. He had a long day ahead of him so you decided to pack for him.

“_________,” Myungsoo mumbled from under the sheets. “What are you doing?”

“Nothing.. nothing! Go back to sleep,” you replied sticking your head out of the closet.

“Too late,” he said. You ignored him and continued to stack all the clothes you thought he would need.

“I don’t need all those shirts jagiya,” Myungsoo said walking out of the bathroom.

“You’re going for three weeks. Of course you’ll need them,” you said.

“I know I’m going for three weeks but that doesn’t mean I need twenty-one shirts ________.” He chuckled at how cutely you were folding and making small stacks.

“This trip is very important for you though. You need to make a good impression.”

“I can do that with my personality,” he winked. “Okay.. so I don’t need this orange one or that light green one. Put this one away too and that awful white one too.”

“That leaves you with seven shirts,” you pouted.

“Those are enough,” he said kissing you on the cheek. You secretly loved it when he randomly kissed you or pulled your cheeks. It was one of the perks of being five years younger than your boyfriend.

“Wait a second,” he said walking to his closet. He opened a drawer and pulled out another shirt. It was the one you gave him on his birthday. “You’re going to take that with you?”

“Of course I will. This is my best one,” he winked once again.

“You’re such a flirt,” you shook your head. Myungsoo picked up a photo frame of you and him from a recent ski trip and walked towards you. “ You still think I’m a flirt?” he asked putting it in his bag.

“Maybe…” you mumbled.

The next second you found yourself tightly wrapped in his arms. He pulled you closer and closer till there was no more space left between the two of you. “Still?” he asked. You nodded. He kissed you. “Still,” he mumbled in the middle. “Hmm,” you nodded back. Next he kissed you on your neck. “Even now?”

“Uuuhummm,” you chuckled.

“I’m starting to think you’re tricking me,” he said and this time he began to tickle you. “Two can play this game,” he teased you.

“Oppa…” you laughed hysterically. “Ahahahaha…stop..” you could barely utter. “Ahhahahahahaha”

“Okay okay I’ll stop,” he said leaving you curled up on the floor. When you recovered from your fit of laughter you stood up energetically to help him pack once again.

“I’ve got most of everything I think,” he said. He looked at you when you didn’t respond. There were tears in your eyes.

“What happened?” he asked worriedly.

“I’m going to miss you so much,” you said, hugging him tightly.

“There there,” he whispered, rubbing your back. “It’s only three weeks.”

“That’s such a long…time.”

“I’ll call you every day. How about that?” he asked.

“Will you miss me everyday too?”

“Every second,” he corrected you.

“This is the longest ever I will be without you.”

“Me too jagiya.. me too,” he said and kissed you on your forehead. “Don’t worry. I’ll be back before you know it. Now will you please smile for me?”

He poked your cheeks till you gave him what he wanted. “That’s my girl,” he cheered and hugged you once again.

‘Tis the Season [Sunggyu]

Requested by myoppamyoppa]

.

.

It was your first time out in the city at that time of the night. People were running around from one shop to the other doing last minute holiday shopping. Sunggyu held your hand tightly as the two of you hustled through the thick crowd. He was claustrophobic and you didn’t fancy being around people that much either. “Is it always like this at midnight?” you asked him. “No just Christmas time. The shops close much earlier on all the other days,” he replied. You patiently waited for Sunggyu to find some open space so you could breathe properly and enjoy quality time with your boyfriend.

“There,” he cried, pointing to an open grassy area at a distance. The snow had been cleared up around the benches and under the trees. You two found an empty spot and sat down.

“This feels nice,” you whispered putting your head on his shoulder. “Hmmm,” he hummed. You chuckled when Sunggyu spread his hand to catch snow flurries. “You can’t catch them.”

“Yes I can,” he said and stood up. “See!”

You laughed when his attempt failed and the flurry melted as soon as it touched his glove. “It’s not going to work. Here… try this!” you stuck your tongue out trying to catch some flurries. Sunggyu watched you dance around like a baby deer. Your nose was as red as Rudolph and your cheeks quite complemented them.

“Aaaaachooo,” you sneezed.

“I’m guessing your mom won’t like me so much after this?” Sunggyu said with a scared expression. He feared your mother more than his own. “Relaaaxxx. She won’t hate you. I asked to let me come with you.”

“Still..” he said putting his arms around you. “You haven’t fully recovered from your cold and I dragged you out here.”

“I wanted to spend tonight with you. Don’t beat yourself over it.” You gave him a peck on the cheek.

“Don’t get me sick,” he made a face.

“Oppaaaa~” you pouted punching him lightly.

“Aish… I was joking. Come here!” he pulled you closer. Moments passed and he didn’t say a word. You were blushing therefore you didn’t dare look up at him. He knew you hated it when he stared at you like that.

“Stop it,” you whispered.

“Why?” he asked.

“You know why.”

Sunggyu leaned in and gave you a kiss~ longer than you had expected. “People are watching,” you said pushing him back. “I don’t care.”

“Can we go home now? I’m cold.” You asked.

“Already? But I wanted to make a snowman and buy some ice cream .. maybe go watch a movie or something.”

“Opppaaaaa~~ stop teasing me,” you fold your arms and moved away.

“I was kidding I was kidding.” He held your hand tightly so you wouldn’t struggle. “Let’s go home. It’s getting late and I don’t want you to get sick.”

“Will you make me some hot coco?” you asked.

“Of course! Anything for my princess,” he replied as the two of you walked back into the crowd of people. It was going to be a long walk back home.

Short and sweet. I need to get to the others so most of these will be short now. Hope you guys still like them. <3 <3 **** HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE****

Infinity and Beyond - Tao

Requested by fckzitao

.

.

.

Tao took your hand and raised it high up in the air. “Hmm,” you murmured. “Watch,” he said. You took your eyes off of the mute TV screen and looked up. He moved your hand in a horizontal eight like motion.

“Infinity?” you whispered.

“Yes..Infinity…” he paused. “Infinity is the time I want to be with you” he replied rather seriously. You chuckled a little at his sudden attempt to be romantic. You elbowed him slightly and moved yourself away.

“What?” he asked pulling you back. “Out of all the times you choose to be cheesy today?” you asked.

“Yes,” he said pushing you on the couch, hovering his slender but strong body over you.

“Let me watch the show,” you tried to fight back and push him away. Tao grabbed your wrist and pinned you back against the couch. “The show’s not that important,” he said breathing close to your face. It came to the point that you started to blush. “Now tell me that you love me..”

“Aaaaa…” you teased.

“What’s up guys?” Lay said entering the room.

“Oh my,” both you and Tao jumped up right.

“Oh…did I interrupt something?” Lay said taking his attention away from his phone and looking at you two.

“Oh no no.. nothing,” you said. “How’s that project of yours going?” you walked up to him.

“It’s almost done. I will need your help finishing the last part though. Turns out I’m going to have to record your voice again,” Lay replied.

“What project?” Tao tried to butt in. “Why don’t I know about this?”

“Stop bugging me,” Lay pushed him out of the way. “_________ so when will you be free?”

“Probably tomorrow night. Are you free then?” you asked him while handing an orange to Tao.

“Tomorrow!!” Tao suddenly cried out loud.

“Yeah!” you gave him a weird look also telling him to calm down.

“I’m free tomorrow,” Lay replied.

“Are you sure you’re free tomorrow night?” Tao asked you with special emphasis on the word tomorrow.

“Yes I’m sure,” you thought for a while before replying.

“Alright so its set. I’ll see you here tomorrow,” Lay said before leaving the kitchen. You looked over at Tao who seemed distressed and heartbroken. You began to ask when your phone suddenly rang. It was your mother. You had to take that call.

.

.

“Hey Tao! I’ll have to leave right away. Mom needs me home for some reason. But I’ll see you tomorrow I suppose.” You winked at him and rushed out the door soon after. Tao wanted to call you back but he was a little too upset to ask you to stay.

*************************************************

The Next Day

You sat next to Lay helping him decide which video clip to use next. “Why is this so cheesy? Look at the girl and the guy. This is too much. Are you sure you want to add that clip to your final video?” you asked him.

“It’s not that cheesy. This is exactly how you and Tao were when you first started going out.”

“Oh no we weren’t. If anything.. we were very normal and I definitely did not giggle as much as she is,” you said pointing towards the screen.

“You obviously can’t tell because both of you were love struck. Remember the first time he introduced you to us?” He was so excited that day..” Lay reminisced.

“Yes .. I remember how silly he acted that day. He bumped into that vase over there and broke it and I had to fix it for you guys later.”

“Yeah.. and then he tried to ..” Lay was talking when you suddenly jumped up.

“Oh my goodness gracious. I’m the worst girl friend ever,” your hands were shaking and your heart sinking slowly.

“Why?” Lay asked.

“Today is our one year anniversary Lay!” you whispered. “Where is Tao? I need him.”

“He hasn’t left his room since this morning,” Lay replied.

“Taooooo!! Taoooo,” you called while running towards his room. He had left the door open. You stormed inside dramatically. Tao was playing PS4.

“What? “he asked grumpily. You didn’t know what to say next. You weren’t sure if he remembered or not. It was a tricky situation.

“Why haven’t you left your room all day,” you asked.

“Didn’t feel like it,” he replied briefly.

“So…. Do you want to go out for dinner or something?” you asked.

“Not in the mood.” – There he had said it. You now knew that he was mad at you. Tao never turned you down like that. He was clearly mad at you.

“I’m sorry,” you said hurriedly and walked behind him.

“It’s okay. Doesn’t matter anymore anyways.”

“It does. It does to me,” you placed your hand on his shoulder.

“If it did you wouldn’t forget so easily,” he said angrily pushing you away. You were taken aback. You sat down on his bed not knowing what to say anymore. You had really hurt him and it didn’t really help with your situation since you always struggled with telling him how you really felt.

Tao stood quiet for a few minutes regretting his hasty actions. He sat down next to you and held your hand hoping you would say something.

“I’m sorry,” you apologized once again. “I’m sorry that I suck at this. I’m sorry that I’m such a bad girlfriend.”

“You’re not,” he pulled you into a hug and kissed you on your temple. “I just wish you wouldn’t ignore me when you’re around…you know.. Yixing Ge.”

You began to think about all the times Lay was around and you ignored Tao. Yesterday was not the first time. You did not mean to do that but being in a relationship was something new to you. Tao was more of the attached type while you barely ever showed any emotions. He needed that sense of security. You had been hurting him unintentionally and on top of that you forgot your own first anniversary. Girls never forget that.

“I ruin everything don’t I?” you asked.

“You don’t,” he denied your claim.

“I do. Don’t be nice to me. You should be mad at me if anything.”

“How can I ever be mad at you?,” he hugged you even more tightly.

“ I promise never to do this again,” you said in tears.

“Huh..? then how will I love you more every day?” he asked. He wiped your tears and kissed you again. “Don’t cry please. It hurts me.”

“Taooo,” you pushed him back. He chuckled. “I love you ________.”

“I love you too. Thank you so much for being my sweet heart,” you winked. “Now lets go out for dinner? I’m hungry.”

“Don’t you have to help Yixing Ge?” Tao asked.

“He can wait,” you smirked. “Now let’s go,” you pulled him out of the door. The more enthusiasm you showed the more Tao loved it.

You were his and he yours! [Baekhyun]

Requested by kpoploverbap

.

.

.

You stood in silence, your body frozen in shock at what had happened in the past half an hour. “It’s over,” he had said. He kissed you a final goodbye and quickly left.

“What,” you gasped feeling your energy drain out of your body slowly. You felt tears trail down your warm red cheeks. “Oppaaaa!!” you cried out covering your face with your hands. How could he leave you over something so trivial? It failed to make sense to you. You two had been going out for over two years now. You had all the right in the world to ask him if he could introduce you to his parents.

“Are you not serious about us?” you had asked. He tried to avoid eye contact mustering up a quick answer.  “I am,” replied.

“Then why won’t you take me to your house?”

“What does that have to do with us being serious?” he asked with annoyance. You had asked him this question many times before but he never gave a clear answer.

“You can’t possibly be asking me such a stupid question?” you asked angrily.

“I can’t do this,” he suddenly got up. His hands flung in the air. “I can’t do this anymore ________.” He picked up his bag to leave.

“Where are you going?” you asked walking after him. He turned around to look at you. His lips quivered as he whispered his next words. Your ears refused to believe them.

“Are we breaking up?” you mumbled almost choking on your spit. He couldn’t look at you anymore. He nodded with his head bent. You stood firm in your place, your body shaking a little. He walked up to you, gave you a kiss and then finally left.

Three months later:

You sat with your friend in a small café very close to where you lived. She had just come back from a trip overseas. After her repeated attempts you finally submitted and began telling him what had happened between you and Baekhyun.

“And…that’s the last time he kissed me,” you said wiping the tears from your cheeks.

“That jerk!” Your friend spat out. “How dare he? Wait till I see him somewhere and I will beat the living crap out of his ..” she flung her fist in the air almost ready to march out of the café.

“Jihee wait,” you held her from the arm and forced her to sit down again. “I just got a text message.”

“A text message?” she repeated questionably.

“From him…” you whispered.

“What?” Jihee shouted. “Give me that phone.”

You dodged Jihee’s attack and hid the phone behind you. You had desperately waited for this text message every single day, hour, minute… for the past three months. “Let me at least read it Jihee,” you begged, pushing her body away from yours. She looked at your desperate eyes and pleading lips. She had to give in. As soon as she moved from on top of you, you opened the text message.

I miss you…” it said.

“What,” you gasped in slight disbelief. “He misses me.”

“BS,” Jihee hissed.

What do mean?” you texted back.

Can we meet?” he asked.

****************************************************************

You sat on a bench at the far corner of the park very close to your favorite pine tree. It was a cool midsummer night. You felt bad for going against Jihee’s wishes and coming to see Baekhyun but she had to understand that you loved this man. After all he had to you still wanted to be with him. But the question was- did he still want to be with you?

“__________,” Baekhyun said. You felt his hand on your shoulder. You were afraid to turn around. Your body froze. “__________,” he whispered your name this time. He sat beside you and turned your face towards him. You looked away in half contempt half nervousness.

“Are you mad at me?” he asked. You didn’t respond. Silence.

“Do you still love me?” he asked again. You could feel his finger pressing against your soft skin. You freed yourself from him and got up. He got up too. “I love you __________. Always have. Always will.”

Your heart sank as his words pierced through your body like daggers. He loves me.. he still loves me. You began to cry. There was no stopping you. Baekhyun held you in his arms tightly, as if protecting you from some calamity.

“Why did you leave me?” you asked. He didn’t respond. You began to ask him again thinking he hadn’t heard your muffled voice.

“I was a fool to leave you. I’m such a fool…such a fool,” all you heard was regret in his voice. “I’m so sorry __________. Please forgive me. I thought I could live without you but the truth is that not a day has gone by that I haven’t thought about you. I was miserable without you. How stupid was I to think I will be fine. I need you in life. In every step of my life. Today, now.. and ….forever!”

A shudder ran through your body hearing his words. Did he actually mean them or was it just the heat of the moment. “You mean that?” you asked pulling yourself from him.

“I do,” he pulled you back closer. “I do mean each and every word I’m saying. Please believe me. ________ I know how much you love me and I love you just as much. I just got scared when you kept pressing me. Guys are like that. They are scared of long term commitments.  But I know how ignorant and stupid I was to think that. I want to be with you and that’s the only truth I know.” He hugged you again.

“I’m sorry…I’m sorry,” he whispered into your ear repeatedly.

You loved him to such an extent that forgiving him didn’t seem hard at all. Your oppa was a little pabo but after all he was still yours and you were his. Baekhyun kissed your neck and then your forehead promising you to make you his forever.

The hazel pink dress [Chanyeol]

Requested by vitaomins

Your fingers danced through the colorful dresses- silk, cotton, denim- you announced the name of the materials in your head. Your eyes matched your hand movement. They stopped in uniformity on a light hazel pink dress. Exactly what I’ve been looking for…

You yanked it out, feeling the soft milky material between your fingers. Your gaze wandered around to make sure no one was looking at you. Very quickly, you lifted the hanging price tag to sneak a look. $30. Hmmmm not bad… You wanted to try it on. Just when you began to walk someone called from behind.

“___________!” there was a slight hint of happiness and surprise in the voice of the stranger. You turned around, wishing you hadn’t. Your heartbeat took a deep dip before rising again. “Hey…How are you?” Chanyeol asked. You looked at him strangely, your head tilted slightly sideways and your eyes hinting a sense of empty distress.

“I’m fine,” you replied. “How are you??”

“I’m fine too,” he clapped an unhappy clap. It wasn’t the same anymore. Nothing was the same anymore… “So how’s life?” he asked.

“Life’s good-”

You noticed him nodding his head more than usual. He did that when he was nervous. He did that the first time he met you… the first time he dared to ask you to lunch two years ago.

“I like that dress you’re holding. It’ll look pretty on you,” he commented. Your thoughts took a big dive into the past. You began to reminisce the times you two had spent together. You two were so happy…in his words, perfect for each others. The late night talks, the planning of the near future, those summer kisses, the long tight hugs, walks in the park, breakfasts in the middle of the day and just about everything else you did together.

 .

 .

“ What are you doing here at this time of the night?” you asked him half surprised half happy. He held his hand up high refusing to speak and glanced at his watch. You heard him whisper three..two..one..”

“Happy Birthday….” he had cheered as soon as the clock struck twelve.

“Oh my..” you clenched your heart. You had forgotten it was your birthday. And there he was, standing in your balcony with a dozen roses and a half melted ice cream cake.

“Hurry make a wish…” he pushed forward the cake. You closed your eyes and wished for him to be by your side forever.

“Oh noooo!!” Chanyeol cried as the wind blew the candles before you could. “How will your wish ever come true now?” he’d asked.

 .

.

“What happened to us,” you spat out still thinking about that day. Chanyeol looked at you, thinking of ways to answer the question he himself had been thinking about. You had shaken yourself back to reality by that time. The bitter, cold, hard reality. No wonder, the wish never came true. It made sense now.

While Chanyeol still tried ways to answer your abrupt question, you gave him a discontented  smile. “I’ll see you around,” you said and waved.

“Aaaa, yeah…see you around,” he replied, turning almost immediately.

.

.

.

“It just doesn’t feel the same way anymore. The way it felt a year ago…you know,” he said holding your hand firmly.

“What do you mean? I think everything is fine between us,” you replied squeezing his hand.

“Think closely about it _______,” he said avoiding eye contact. “It’s not the same anymore. We are just trying to make each other happy but in reality that’s far from true. We are living a broken relationship…”

 .

.

Those were the last words he had said to you before you parted almost a year ago. You couldn’t blame him. He was right.

You put the dress back on the shelf and walked out of the store.  After all, what was the point of having things in your life that weren’t meant for you?

Found you [Siwon]

Requested by siwonismybiglove

You felt yourself blush a little at the light brush of his skin against yours. It was surely purely unintentional. You could feel him smile too even though you hadn’t dared to look up. Your heart raced with each second. Soon you would have to sit across from him. Sure, you would be surrounded by people but that didn’t matter. He was the only one who mattered.

“This way,” Siwon said holding the door open. He half chuckled with his tomato red face when he saw you walk right past him. You seemed lost and maybe a little nervous too. “________,” he called out your name. Still no response. You kept walking.

Suddenly you felt someone place a forceful hand on your shoulder.  You jumped around at the touch. It was him. You looked at him with questioning eyes.

“The restaurant is back there,” he said with a rather big smile. It took you a few seconds to understand what had happened.

“Oh my ~” you sang.

“It’s alright. Are you nervous?” he asked. You could see his hands shaking while he tried to make you feel comfortable. How ironic- you thought as you smiled to yourself.

“No I’m fine,” you lied without making eye contact. You followed him back to the restaurant quietly. There was a slight hint of eagerness in the way he talked. He wasn’t like this when the two of you were merely colleagues. You had no idea what had gotten into him. You wanted him to calm down but really didn’t have much to say. He was still doing a better job than you yourself. You could feel his intense glare at you. The restaurant was noisy but you could hear his faint breathing.

“Is this your first time?” he asked.

“Huh?” you looked up.

“Like on a date…”

“Ohhh.. no..yeah..not really.” You uttered incoherent words. “I did once before.”

“How was it?” he raised his eyebrows.

“Not that great,” you replied. You had started to feel more relaxed. It had started to settle in that just a few days ago you used to talk to him normally. You took a deep breath and started over. Everything was going to be just fine…

***************************************************

“Well that was nice,” Siwon tried to break the silence after a long pause. You nodded while slightly rubbing you arms.

“Oh are you cold?” he asked almost instantly taking his jacket off. You shook your head but he had already wrapped it carefully around you. Your face had heated up to the point that your entire body felt warm.

The silence had once again returned. Only the sound of howling wind stood between the two of you. Siwon stopped near the edge of the lake admiring the city lights from afar.

“That’s beautiful,” you said trying to get his attention towards the sky. After a long rainy week, the sky had finally cleared up that night. You could see the stars twinkling as brightly as they could. You had gained his attention. He gazed at them with the same admiration he had for the lights.

“It is beautiful,” he murmured.

“I honestly had no idea guys like you existed,” you commented after he had caught you staring at his side profile. You were not ashamed of admitting it. Siwon chuckled shyly and shook his head. He seemed amused. But more than that he was happy. He had won your heart…

A tale of two brothers [Kai ft. Taemin]

I got my writer friend to write this one for you guys. She wrote the Wolf scenario [kai of Exo] before which you guys really loved. I hope you guys like this one too. Please give her love.

.

.

.

Once upon a time, in a story that’s not this one, there was a happy ending. And nobody died in that one.

It all started on a dark and stormy night …

“…Hello?” you call out. “Anyone there …?“ You cautiously approach the figure, gripping your umbrella tighter, ready to use it as a weapon.

The walls of the alley were covered with layers of graffiti. A dumpster sat at the end with a shadowed figure besides it. As you get closer, you could see that it was a person — probably male judging from the height — with only a black hoodie over his head to shield him from the rain. In his left hand was a drawstring bag; in his right — a baseball bat. His must have picked up your movement because he raised his head. You speed up, hoping to reach the restaurant’s door before he could reach you. Out of the corner of your eyes, you see him coming — running almost. Adrenaline rushed through your body. Your heart hammered against your chest. As your hands dart for the handle, he tightly snatches your wrist. A flash of lightning brightens the alley, followed by a clap of thunder. And then, the entire street was swallowed by darkness.

You scream.

○○○

Hold on. Hold just a minute. I bet you’re confused. How did you end up in this poor predicament? Only time travel will tell! Yes, you read correctly, time travel! And don’t worry; it’s nothing to be worried about. Let’s rewind seven hours…

"Will you please go out with me?” You look up to see Taemin— no, it was Kai— no … yeah, it was Kai looking straight at you. It was the pair of headphones that always hung around his neck that gave him away. “I said,“ he repeated, “Will you please go out with me?”

You eye him suspiciously for a second and reply, “No. I like Taemin,“ and turn back towards your homework. He looked flabbergasted.

"Why? Why would you ever like m— I mean, him?”

“Because he’s easy to talk to, smart and talented — more gentlemanly. Better looking too.” You reply without hesitation, focusing on the math problem in front of you. “Can you leave? I have work to do and classes to pass. Unlike you.“ You bite your lip, not meaning to say the last part. He was fuming mad.

"How dare you say that about me? Taemin and I look exactly the same! And I study more than anyone in this class! Uggh! I don’t know why I want you anyway!” and he stomps away, slamming the door behind him. You stick your tongue after him and return to your problem. Kai likes me? You secretly smile at the thought — OH!

WAIT!

HALT! I forgot to mention something important!! To clear things up a bit, let’s go back one more hour…. Ah, yes, here it is:

Kai sat on the school’s rooftop with a spiral notebook spread open on his lap and a dulled pencil in hand. He peered below into the herd of students playing ball, gossiping and enjoying their lunches with friendly company — his eyes scanning the crowd for that one face. He pulls back and looks down at his notebook. Dear____, he writes carefully. I know this may come as a shock to you, but I have always really liked you. Even now when writing this I — he stopped abruptly. “AH!“, he screams, ripping out the page and crumbling it into a ball before letting it roll from his palm. He could feel his cheeks reddening at the thought of her and buried his head into his arms to shield his embarrassment.

"Lets see what you have here”, says a familiar voice. Kai didn’t have to look up to know that it was Taemin. Although they were born identical twins, they couldn’t be any more different. Taemin was the self-proclaimed ‘shy’ and ‘innocent’ one who always did well school, sports, and basically everything he put his mind into, all while managing to steal the hearts of countless young girls at the same time. Kai on the other hand did horribly in school despite working harder than his brother in every class, subject or sport, thus earning his nickname as The Other One. “Aw, still trying to write your love letter, little brother?“ Taemin mocked with a smirk.

"Go away.”

“But that’s no fun, Kai! Besides, littering is bad,” but seeing that his brother wasn’t in the mood to joke, Taemin instead sat down besides Kai, patting him on the back. “You know, you can just tell her directly. Tell her that you like her.“

"I can’t Taemin. You know I can’t. I know she doesn’t like me. Nobody does. I’m horrible at everything I do.” Kai whispered back.

Taemin could feel a tug of pain in his heart. “You’re good at dancing. You’re an amazing listener. “And—" he thought for a moment, “you’re quite handsome too, maybe even as handsome as me.“

At that, Kai replied with a simple “Jerk,” but a smile played on his lips as he playfully pushed Taemin away. “I wish I was more like you.“ He pulled his knees towards his chest. “It would be so much easier if you could just tell her for me…” Taemin looked at Kai straight in the eye for a moment. “Don’t look at me like that, you look like you’re plotting something evil again.“

"Do you want me to tell her?”

“What?”

“I’m serious. If you don’t confess within the next hour, I’ll tell her I like her myself.”

“What?!” Kai shot up. “You are a jerk— and a thief at that!!“

"No, no, no, calm down! What I’m trying to say is that we’re identical twins … right?” Kai returned a tiny nod, still confused. “And since we are, I can confess for you! I’ll pretend to be you and tell her that I like her. How’s that soun—"

“No way,” Kai injects before Taemin could finish. “That would be lying to her.“ He looks at his shoes.

"Come on Kai. Just once. And it wouldn’t be lying, because technically, you like her, so I have to like her too, right?” Taemin stops, his hands gripping Kai’s shoulders. Kai remained focused on his shoes.

See? There we go, you got the gist of what happened right? So now let’s continue where we left off:

Taemin stormed out of the classroom muttering of the nastiest words he could think of under his breath. Just as turned from the door, Taemin saw Kai leaning against the wall. His body was stiff and his face was downcast.

“Kai… You didn’t hear that did you…?”

Kai jolted at the question. “Huh? Hear what? Haha, sorry, I was um — thinking of something.“ He forced a smile. “Man, I think I had too much to eat for lunch today, gotta hit the toilet!” And he spun around and ran away.

Taemin watched Kai disappear into the crowded hall and sighed. “What an idiot …"

Reentering the classroom, he took a seat beside you. “___, we need to talk.“

○ ○ ○

You weave your way through the maze of restaurants and buildings, a hand-drawn map in hand. The sudden storm seems to foreshadow bad news. A gust of wind heaved through, coming dangerously close to snatching your umbrella away. You look back down at the map. “Taemin said it should be around here somewhere.” You recall his expression when he said to meet him after school at a restaurant. It was so desperate, you couldn’t refuse him. Now, regret was beginning to creep in, and you longed to return home.

Turning the corner into an alley, you finally spot the restaurant sign. With it, you see an outline of the person beneath the blinking neon lights. “…Hello?” you call out.

“Calm down ‘___’!” said the figure. “It’s me!“

He must’ve thrown his hood back for you to see his face, but you couldn’t make out anything in the darkness. The two of you stayed frozen in place, his hand still wrapped around your wrist, but his grip had loosened. He was  so close, you could even feel the heat of his body against yours. It was silent for a moment before the neon sign flickered a few times, and the electricity returned. He gently released you and you finally get a good look at him.

"Taemin?!” you could hear your voice shaking, but in relief that it wasn’t some random rapist. “Why were you standing in the rain like this when you could be in the restaurant?!“

He looked taken back. “I should be asking you that. What are you doing here?”

“You were the one who begged me to come here claiming that you had something to tell me!” You couldn’t help but shout. The rain came to a light drizzle until it faded away.

He was clearly tired, dark circles lined beneath his red rimmed, puffy eyes, making him appear as though he had just cried. His clothing was soaking wet, and thick masses of hair clung to his forehead. “I didn’t leave the practice with an umbrella because it was still sunny then. They thought I was a beggar, as wet as I was, and wouldn’t let me in. And I’m actually Kai.“ He looked directly at you and quickly added, “But it’s not what you think! Taemin told me to meet him for dinner — he said had something to tell me!”

You hold his gaze while registering what had happened. “That jerk set us up didn’t he?!“ After all this time… You push Kai away and begin trudging home. You felt a little bad, seeing the fusion of sorrow and guilt in his expression, but more than that, you were furious with Taemin. He was the only person who knew how she felt about Kai, yet he still set up the date.

"I’ll walk you to the bus stop.”

“Go home Kai, I can walk by myself.” But he ignores your remark and continues to follow you. Seeing how reluctant he was to leave, you pace on ahead. The short journey was painful as the encounter. Not only was Kai following nine strides behind, but there loomed a terrible silence . You sigh in relief when you finally spot the bus stop, dash over, and take a seat. Kai mimicked your movements, settling himself at the far end of the bench, away from you. You fidget at the awkwardness in the air — tapping your toes and fiddling with your fingers — all while praying the bus would come sooner. You wrack your mind, hunting for something to say. Talking to Taemin had always been easy — he was approachable and direct when it came to what he was thinking. Kai however …

“The night is beautiful isn’t it?” both you and Kai say at the same time. His voice sounded so sincere and honest, you were afraid he would discover the fraudulence in your own. But he just softly laughs and it’s quiet again.

“If the sky is always filled with stars, why isn’t it always morning?”

You look to him in surprise of his sudden question. His eyes were closed and his head leaned against the advertisement board placed behind the bench. He looked different than usual — calm and relaxed under blinking patches of yellow and orange. It was then that you notice how many fireflies there were. They danced around the bench and sprinkled the grass, setting the field ablaze in their warm light. You close your eyes and lean against the hard board, listening to the choir of crickets and cicadas filling the night with music of their own as well as the soft humming of cars passing in the distance. It was beautiful.

“If it was always morning, then we wouldn’t be able to experience lovely nights like this, wouldn’t we?” He doesn’t say anything for a while and you wonder if he fell asleep.

”___?“

"Hm…?”

“I like you.” You open your eyes to see if he was talking in his sleep and it seemed reasonable considering how he was in the exact position as earlier. Making sure not to wake him — if he was asleep that is — you silently slide over towards him, filling the space between, and gently place your head on his shoulder.

“I think … I like you too.”

And there you have it folks. I told you it was nothing to worry about. You may be wondering who died. Somewhere, sometime during the course of this story — some child in Africa died. And I’m sure it wasn’t a happy ending for them… Donate here.

The End.

Cafe Rendezvous [Luhan]

Requested by anon

The goose bumps on your arms were coaxing you into closing the window at the far end of your office floor. You looked up at it with dagger eyes wishing it could react to your threat. No luck. You were just as stubborn. You wrapped your jacket around you tightly and began to scroll through your inbox once again. It was almost 8 o clock. Everyone had left the office building but you. You sat in the dark empty room, hoping for a miracle to happen on that Friday night. If you went home empty handed you would most likely not get promoted.

“Come on … come on.. come on!!” you said refreshing the page for the 10th time. Nothing. No new person had submitted a story. You had read and rejected five stories earlier that day. You were hoping someone would submit a good one by the end of the day. The deadline for the first rough draft was the following Tuesday which gave you one more working day to sort things out. Without a story, you would fail at the big end of the month project and never get promoted in your 2 year old job.

You sat in silence staring at you screen in utter disappointment. It was as if the whole universe was conspiring against you. A healthy smile took you at your own thought. You were a bit of a dramatic person.

Suddenly, your ears perked at the *bling* on your computer. The bold words appearing before you could never be more satisfying. It was an email, an email you had been longing to receive. You clicked on it immediately. There wasn’t much content except a single line stating that a story was attached. It seemed as if the sender was in a hurry.

Nevertheless, you downloaded the file and began reading. The very first line had captured all your attention. But slowly the content went downhill. You were starting to lose focus. It seemed as if the writer was very detached from his work. There were occasions that you felt he/she had put their heart and soul into it and at other times the whole story was just falling apart.

You could also tell that English was their second language since the mistakes were beyond imaginable. That, you could fix but only if the story was a little better written. The plot was the same as any other story about relationships falling apart.

“Great! …another heartbreaker!” you frowned at the draft. It was around 9 o clock. It hadn’t taking you much long to skim through the story. You opened a new window and like you had done 5 times already, began writing an email telling the sender that the story was going to be rejected.

With a heavy heart you clicked ‘send’. Your day was finally over. You began packing your content when you heard another *bling*. It was from the same person. You scrunched your nose as you clicked on it.

Hello,

I am sorry my last email was so rushed. I was at a public computer and my time was almost over. I do not quite understand why my work has been rejected. I have put a lot of thought into it. From your feedback you gave me I have a feeling I still have a chance.

Would you like to meet in person so we can discuss this further? This is very important to me and I do not want to fail at this big opportunity. If you think my request is a bit out of line, I apologize in advance.

Sincerely

Luhan”

You felt your heart sink a little as you read the name. “Luhan… hmmm” you whispered. The name rang a bell but you could not remember for sure. You read and re read the email a few times. There was nothing planned for the weekend anyways. You wrote a  brief reply:

“Hey

Tomorrow: 9 o clock

Place: City Café

___________”

“Thank you so much. I will see you there.

Luhan”

“Great,” you muttered to yourself as you walked out of the dark room. Now you had to reject him in person.

***********************************************

You looked more than fresh, sitting in a corner table at the café. You didn’t mind the least being the first one to arrive. You had gotten there a half hour early. There were a few other people at the shop. None of them caught your attention but a guy sitting at the other end of the café, newspaper covering his face. He had seemed to get there a few minutes before you since you saw him order when you entered.

Time flew by quickly. It was five minutes past nine. You frowned a little at his tardiness. That was one thing you hated about writers. Another five minutes passed. You swung your head towards the door again. In the moment, your eyes met the guy sitting at the other end. He had also been curiously looking towards the door. Both you and he smiled at each other foolishly knowing that you had been waiting for each other this whole time. He grabbed his bad nervously, almost spilling his coffee and dropping the newspaper. He walked towards you with a hearty but shaken smile.

“Hello,” he muttered quickly looking away, pretending to set his content on the table.

“Hi,” you replied offering your hand.

Both you and he settled down opposite each other. You gave him a comforting smile so he wouldn’t be completely lost due to his jumpy condition.  You heard him take a few deep breaths to relax himself. In only a few moments he seemed to be getting normal.

“I’m sorry about this,” he said pointing to himself. You narrowed your eyebrows as if questioning his statement.

“For being so flustered..” he added. “I didn’t get enough sleep last night.”

“May I ask why was that so? …ah.. you don’t have to answer if you’re not comfortable,” you said. He looked up at you. He was very relaxed and smiling more casually now.

“Oh … I had personal business to take care of. Nothing too special.” He looked away once again so you won’t be able to tell he was lying. He had spent the entire last night editing and re editing the story and practicing how he would convince you. If he didn’t get this break, his career would be over. His rich father will call him back home and force him to attend Business School.

“I’m not too sure why you called me here today?” you asked.

“I want you to re read the story one more time. Let me know what’s wrong. I’ll try my best to fix it…”

“Luhan…,” you said his name hesitantly. “That’s not the problem though. Even if you fix all these little mistakes…your story is still not extra ordinary. It’s not any different from the many others we have published already. We need something different. Something people have never read before. Something that makes them anticipate our next issue.”

His lips parted to defend his position but he soon realized that it would be better he remained quiet. He had to choose his words wisely for you to be convinced. He sat, his head bent down, eyes closed and hands clapped together. You examined his soft features. They were so baby like. Innocence printed all over his face.  You were starting to doubt if he was older than you. Knowing that people around you, may be looking you diverted your attention towards the beautiful white Gardenia in the red vase. You were surprised to see them at a small café like that one. There was smell was very pleasing to the nose. You could not help but admire their delicate structure. Taking one out of the vase, you brought it close to your nose. For a second, you felt like you were back at the coffee shop two years ago, waiting for your date. He had walked in with grace, holding those beautiful gardenias in his hands. He had apologized repeatedly for being late. His smile, his eyes, his face everything was a mark of perfection. He was your muse. Every word he uttered sounded like a sweet melody to you.

You shook your head back to reality also sighing deeply. Broken relationships were better forgotten. As you looked up, you saw a dazed writer staring back at you. He had been admiring you, admiring the flowers. But in that moment, he had realized how hurt and broken you were on the inside.

“Are you okay?” you asked.

“Huh.. ah yeah,” he said shaking his head in embarrassment.

“ Look Luhan,” you began once again. Your past thoughts had suddenly changed your mind. You wanted to give him a chance. “You just need to find some inspiration and I’m sure you’ll be able to produce something worthy of publishing.”

You realized that you had placed your hand over his. You immediately pulled back.

“Inspiration is all you need to …”

“I think I just found it,” Luhan said cutting you. You looked at him with a half dazed state.

“Okay then,” you said getting up. “Send me something by Sunday night and I’ll see what I can do.”

“Excuse me,” he called you. “Your bag.”

You took it from him, turning back immediately so he wouldn’t see your light pink blushing face.

Sunday Night, 8 o clock:

You heard the *bling* as soon as you sat down on your working table at home. He was right on time! You clicked open the attached file.

Cafe Rendezvous

There was something very beautiful about the way her tear laden eyes admired the Gardenias. The way that faint but breathtaking smile embraced her soft lips, the way her fingers danced nervously and they way her nostrils flared only slightly …all of it was indescribable….’

You felt a shudder run through your body. His words were beautiful…you felt beautiful. You wiped the tears out of your eyes. You had a story to read…

Rivalry [Sehun]

Requested by Anon yoshi

“Shhhh!!… shut up all of you,” you whispered rather angrily. There was complete silence in just a few seconds. You rolled your eyes at the immature group of fellow students you had recruited to get this job done. They looked at you rather fearfully as you turned around with an evil smile. You walked past them and stood with your shoulders up right and arms folded.

“Tonight the boys of the red house dorms will face our revenge. And from tomorrow onwards,” you said pointing at the group standing before you, “They will never think to mess with us again.”

As you finished your sentence, you heard the first dog bark and soon the others were following. This was a sign that all of them had been released. You waved at the girls signaling for them to run back to the yellow house dorms.

Ever since you had joined Sky Ridge High, you felt like you were home. It was place you were longing to become a part of. The people were nice and very accepting of new comers. In only a few years you had announced yourself as an unofficial leader of the Yellow house dorms. The girls had accepted this graciously but none of the others had the confidence to put you down.

Very recently, rivalry had started to grow between Yellow house and Red house. The other two dorms didn’t bother interfering. It all started with some boy known as Sehun, who pulled a rather harsh prank on one of the girls from the Yellow house dorms.  She was embarrassed and of course aggravated therefore she came to you for help. You confronted Sehun asking him to apologize but he wouldn’t budge. He was stubborn, quite like you yourself. From then on the Prank War had started.

*******************************************************

“****Yellow House Ladiesssssss!!!!!!!*****” you heard Coach Mark yell at 7 in the morning. No matter how many times you covered your ears, the noise from the chaos outside wouldn’t block it. You gave up, threw the pillow in the corner and walked out the dorm. The rest of the girls were all aligned, hands folded behind and bodies straight up right. You fixed your messy bed hair and squeezed yourself between two nervous girls.

“It has been reported that someone …from one of the dorms released the Red house dogs in their yard last night.”

Coach Mark’s ears perked upon hearing a chuckle. Sure enough it was from you. He walked towards you maintaining his stern posture. He stopped only a few inches away from you casting a shadow on your tiny body. “And may I know the reason for why you may be laughing?” he roared. Images of the yellow house boys not being able to sleep and walking like zombies around the school were dancing before your eyes. You glanced up at him. His serious face was only boasting your laughter. You bit your lip and presented your defense.

“I..just think it’s funny.. that we are being questioned for the ‘Red House dogs.’ No one else has access to their shed therefore it has to be one of them who left it open last night. Why would one of the ladies from our dorm bother to wake up in the middle of the night, crawl to their shed and let the dogs loose? It just doesn’t make sense to me. You’re wasting your time here…” By the time you finished speaking, you noticed your body shaking a little. Coach Mark was standing a little too close to you. You had never been much of a good liar therefore if he caught you, you would all be screwed. The man scrutinized your face for half a minute before turning around. “I have heard of the so called ‘Prank War’ between the two dorms and …if this was your idea of a prank then all you ladies will be punished severely. Since Ms. ______ here has denied any claims to you girls being involved I will not take any actions but if any evidence says otherwise,” he paused and turned to you once again. “the consequences will not be settling for anyone.”

With that said, Coach Mark walked out of the lobby. The room filled with worried whispers. Some were shaking with fear while others were breaking down. You tried to calm everyone but no one would listen. You jumped on top of one of the couches and dropped the silverware you had found in your jacket pocket on the floor. The noise wasn’t enough but it settled a few girls near you. They helped calm down the other ones too. Now they all looked up at you as if you were about to deliver a sermon.

“Girls! Calm down. Those boys have nothing on us. We erased all evidence last night. So don’t be fearful and don’t give in. We won last night’s battle which may have aggravated them but we have to stay put. Don’t give in I repeat. Don’t give in.”

The girls stared back at you with a little more confidence. You had always been there for them. They trusted you a lot with such stuff. Slowly the lobby started to clear up. You looked at your watch sadly. It was almost time to go to class.

******************************************************************

Geography was your least favorite subject. You rarely ever paid attention in class. In fact you didn’t know half the kids in that class since you never bothered to turn around and look. While you were still day dreaming, you heard someone get slapped with a book. You spun around to find Ms. Dinsdale hovering her tiny body over Sehun. He jumped upright, startled by the sudden attack. You were about to burst into laughter when you saw his red eyes and zombie like face.

“Are you too smart to not care about what I’m teaching in this class?” Ms Dinsdale shouted. You felt his bright red ears perk. He rubbed his eyes and shook his head obediently. He opened his mouth to defend himself but instead it turned into a yawn.

“I’m sorry,” he finally said also trying to stretch his body a little. “I didn’t get enough sleep last night.”

“That’s not my problem,” Ms Dinsdale shouted. She walked back to her table and just as Sehun was about to sit down again she began walking towards him again.

“Who told you, you could sit?” she said handing him a yellow slip. “Report to the Mr. Wyldewell’s office after class.”

Sehun scratched the back of his head holding another attack of yawning. You had to admit he looked a little comical. Just as he was about to sit down his eyes fell on you. You were smiling at him, brightly. You raised your hand to tuck your hair back to show him a sign that you’d won. Sehun glared at you like a wounded Lion as he settled.

**********************************************************

You danced along the corridor making your way to the entrance of the building after class when someone pulled you from behind. It wasn’t violent but very forceful instead. Your attacker pushed you into an empty store room, holding your firmly as he locked the door. You turned around knowing exactly who it would be.

“Sehun!” you cried out his name.

“Shhhhh,” he said furiously. He pinned you against the wall jerking you a little. “Do you think that was funny?”

“What was funny?” you asked with an emotionless voice.

“What you did last night?” He knew you were lying. He began unbuttoning his shirt.

“Hey hey hey.. don’t be stupid. We can settle this another way,” you said.

“I’m not going to rape you, you idiot. He removed a part of his shirt to reveal scratch marks. “The prank was good. I give you that… but you should have full knowledge of things when you do something as stupid as that. Those dogs are trained to attack anyone and by anyone I mean literally anyone at that time of the night. So when us boys tried to calm them and send them back this is what happened,” he said pointed to himself once again.

“Why would you think I did that?” you asked. A faint smile appeared on Sehun’s face. He put his hand in his pocket to reveal s royal blue bracelet.

“Missing something?” he asked.

“Omo,” you gasped trying to take it from him but of course he was taller and much stronger than you.

“Aaaa aaan aaaan… don’t even try,” he pinned you against the wall once again. “I could have submitted this as an evidence but then I thought for a while again. Why would I want to do that? I’m not as stupid as you after all ..and maybe… there’s some nice in me,”

“Oh shut up,” you hissed. Sehun’s eyes widened in surprise. He was being nice to you and then there were you, being ungrateful as always.

“Do you want me to go turn this in? .. you’ll be suspended immediately,” he said.

“Nooo!” you cried pulling him back. “Please don’t do that.”

You could hear him laugh a little. He lowered his hand a little as if trying to give you your bracelet back but still wanting to torture you. You jumped up a few times but realizing that he was only humiliating you, you stopped.

“What do you want me to do?” you asked with a crying face, which was obviously a fake. Sehun looked at you, wanting to get a little closer but he restrained himself. He knew that was not a good time to confess his feelings for you. You looked at him staring back at you. It was starting to freak you out.

“Here! Take it,” he said finally offering you the bracelet.

“You’re just going to give it to me?” you asked suspiciously. He nodded without taking his eyes off of you for even once.

“Some people are just nice you know,” he said. Your face had an expression far from pleasant. You took the bracelet from him, fixed your shirt and began to walk away. Your inner conscious was nudging you to stop and thank him. You weren’t going to give in but your feelings for Sehun made you stop. Somewhere along the pranks and little pesky fights you had grown to like him… you just didn’t know it yet.

“Sehun ahh,” you called to him. He looked up at you with a hopeful face. “Gomawo,” you said and waved at him before leaving.

Sehun smiled as you disappeared into the crowd. He shook his head like a child and followed close behind. At least the rivalry was over…

It was finally over [Leo]

 Requested by anon

***A scenario based on “I will show you”- by Ailee

His voice was hoarse when he had called you. You asked him if he was drunk but he denied it plainly and asked you to meet him.

“Where?” you’d asked.

“The café …at the end of the street,” he had replied.

The cold winds that touched your feet every time someone opened the door announced the arrival of bad news. He had seemed very distant lately. Not making it on time on dates, never picking up his phone, pretending to be busy when out with friends. And then suddenly out of nowhere he calls you tell you he wants to meet.

The door opened once again, bringing another wave of cold breeze, but this time along with it came the soft familiar fragrance. You fixed your dress from under the table and got up with a cheery smile. You could feel the butterflies dancing in your stomach with each step he took. He sat down at the table with a rather serious face. You could tell he was trying hard to act sober. With a wave of your hand you ordered your usual orders to the lady standing at the counter. She nodded and then disappeared into the kitchen.

“So…” you said to start a conversation. He looked at you for a split second, but then something outside occupied his gaze. He was silent while you were anxious. You made an attempt to hold his hand but, you felt his body stiffen.

“What’s wrong?” you asked. He looked at you as if trying to form the right words to say. He seemed hesitant. His eyes too ashamed to meet yours. You could feel your heart sinking at the point and then everything changed when he jumped up.

His hands flew in the air in frustration. “I don’t think we should be together anymore…” he said.

“What?” you got up too. “What’s wrong? I thought everything was going just fine.”

“It’s not,” he shook his head. “We are two different people…from two different worlds. You may not realize it but it’s really hard for me sometimes.”

You began to say something but you soon realized that you didn’t have anything to say. How were you going to counter his argument without sounding desperate? For anything, you had no idea he felt this way.

“I…” you started but he cut you right away.

“I’m sorry __________!” he said and then without waiting another second, he left.

*****************************************************

Two months later:

The first morning sun light felt good for some reason. Your face was decorated with a peaceful smile. It was your first in two months. That day felt different. You wanted to do something. You bounced out of bed and danced your way to the bathroom.

.

You walked past the shops you had walked past a million times with him. In the last two months you felt your heart crushing every time you walked down that street but that day, you felt nothing. In fact, you started to notice stores you had no idea existed. You began to enter a boutique when a young voice called from behind you.

“Excuse ma’am,” he said. You turned around to a young gentleman with a bright smile. “Would you like to try our makeover sample? It’s a special we have going on this week…”

You thought for a little bit but soon agreed. “Why not!” you said cheerfully and followed the guy into his salon.

A person, who looked like he had more authority came and examined your face. You could tell how judging his nature was but when he started speaking it was quite the opposite of what you thought. He was much nicer. He began giving out instructions and within minutes, 3 different assistants began working on you. Your tense body began to relax after a while. You let yourself loose.

A few hours later:

When you looked at yourself in the mirror you wanted to cry. For the first time in years you felt beautiful. No make no nothing. They had somehow managed to make your face change without the help of any of that.

“Do you like it?” the guy asked. You nodded, still dazed and confused looking at your reflection. The guy handed you your glasses as you got up.

“You’re beautiful… and don’t let whatever it is bring you down..” he said patting your back.

“What do you mean?” you asked.

“That fake smile may convince others but not me,” he replied. You wanted to ask more questions but he pretended to act busy so you would leave. You smiled faintly as you left the store.

In the six months you had spent with Leo, you had never paid much attention to your appearance. You began to wonder how or why he liked you in the first place. No wonder he broke up with you. He was never planning on staying. You were just one of the many girls he had played around with.

You remembered your attitude from earlier that morning and suddenly you wanted to go back to that. You had cried enough in the two months since he broke up with you. It was time to move on and show a better image of you to him. You were going to bring down that rich boy’s ego.

All the money you had saved, you spent it shopping for yourself. It felt good, especially after spending 6 months buying so many gifts for him.

*******************************************************

A few weeks later:

You swung your head from side to side as the loud music touched your ears. This was your second time in the past week going to a club. Your friends were amazed with your new look and increasing confidence. Many male colleagues from work had boldly asked you to dinner but you refused politely. You were not looking for a relationship anymore. Being single was much better.

You saw the light on your cell phone screen flash. It was another one of your male friends. He had been asking you to lunch for a while.

“Why don’t you say yes?” your friend asked, also looking at your phone. You sighed deeply. “I’m not looking for anyone right now.”

“___________! You know he wasn’t the right guy for you. Move on from him.”

“I have,” you said smiling confidently. “I don’t feel anything for him anymore but I really think I need some more time before I start dating again.”

You looked at your watch. It was getting late. Before the drunk, dirty crowd walked in, you made your way out of the club. It was a little chilly for a midsummer night. You rubbed your arms to relax the Goosebumps.

“__________!” you heard a familiar voice say. Your body turned itself around without you even realizing it.

“Is it really you?” Leo asked. You felt someone clench your heart. It began to hurt again. As much as you wanted him to see the new you, you were devastated upon seeing him again. He looked bright and handsome as ever. You nodded, as his mystique figure approached you in the silver moonlight.

“You look so…beautiful,” he said sliding his hands down your arm. You felt hypnotized by his presence. “What.. happened to you…? How did you …change?”

Change…-  as soon as that word touched your ears, you felt your heart ache return. He was the reason you had broken down completely. You could never forgive him. You freed yourself from his grip and began to walk away. It hurt, but it was the best thing you could do.

“Where are you going?” he asked. You didn’t care to reply.

“___________ wait!.. … don’t you miss me?” he asked once again. Even now, his ego poured out in every word he uttered. “_______ don’t ignore me like this.”

You couldn’t help but smile condescendingly at his condition. He was desperate one this time. You were glad you learnt of his true nature or you would have spent your whole life in regret.

After a while you stopped hearing his voice. You could tell he was still standing behind you at a distance. “I don’t need you anymore…” you said aloud and began to walk once again.

It was finally over.
