That’s a dice?? And if he was looking for a number wouldn’t he hold it in his hand! I need a fancam for this one! [CAN SOMEONE HELP ME FIND IT?]
For this gif

Hi hi! Ummm are you talking about this gif?
hahaha! He is being Lay - yet again! By that I mean he is being adorably cute again ;) I think the little yellow object is suppose to either light up or make a sound when it’s pressed/hit so Lay was just trying to get it to work but he is obviously failing [or maybe it did work - we just don’t know it] lol
I hope this helped. [If this isn’t the gif you’re talking about then..*goes hides in the corner in embarrassment lol*]
[I don’t own the gif]
Yep you’re absolutely right. It’s different for everyone. Most of the non Korean students in my class are taking it because of their love for either K dramas or kpop but I still see that they have no passion to learn. They are just there for the class, hoping for some miracle to happen and they’d start speaking the language fluently. On the other hand there are some who put in a lot of effort especially from learning outside of class. My first semester was pretty bad, not because I didn’t have a strong passion, believe me I do. I was just too busy with my other classes to pay attention to Korean but this semester is going great because I am finally getting a hang of it because most of the material is repeated so often. Plus I have a really good friend in the class who despite being Chinese, knows a good amount of Korean and all of that is from watching dramas. I really admire her. So my advice to you would be to just learn from watching K Variety shows/ dramas but first get your basics right. Once you memorize the few/easy rules you will be good to do and will be able to speak elementary level Korean.
Here’s a link that I would recommend to you. It’s like you are sitting in class. Just keep going with one link everyday and you’ll be good to go. It seems intimidating at first with all those complicated characters but trust me it’s not as hard. Ask any Chinese person out there and they will tell you that korean characters are much simpler compared to Chinese. And also if this doesn’t work out there is always ‘Korean for Dummies’ - Barns and nobles has it but they only have a romanization version so you’ll only be able to speak the language not actually read it.
I hope this helped and I also wish your university starts offering Korean language courses. Hwaiting! :)
